Last night, Damian Quinn almost waited by the door all night, leaving at dawn.
This surprised him and changed his view of Damian a bit. After all, for him to go this far for Serena is enough to prove he really cares about her.
So he decided to tell Serena about it.
"Hey, Serena, it’s almost eight o’clock, hurry hurry, or you’ll be late, Serena!"
Before Bianca Everett could finish his words, he was interrupted by the anxious Jocelyn Sterling.
"Old Third, hurry up, grab breakfast and take Serena to school!"
Bianca looked down at his watch upon hearing this, and indeed only half an hour was left, instantly throwing what he wanted to say out of his mind.
"Let’s go, Serena, Third Brother will take you to school!"
"Okay."
Serena sat in the car, absentmindedly eating the sandwich Bianca brought, pulled out her phone and found lots of ssages, but none from a certain charming fox.
Serena pressed her red lips tightly, unable to eat the rest of the sandwich, her pretty face showing a cold expression.
After all this ti since their fight, he still hadn’t ssaged her to make ands!
Hmph, she should really listen to Claire and give him the cold shoulder for a few days!
...
The Quinn Group.
"Redo all these plans."
Damian Quinn’s voice was cold to the extre, his entire being exuding intense hostility, sending chills down everyone’s spine.
The conference room was a dead silence, and the senior executives didn’t dare raise their heads, all aware of their CEO’s terrible mood, and unfortunately, they were the ones in his crosshairs.
Who exactly made the CEO so angry?!
It was the first ti they had seen the CEO so full of hostility!
"Master Damian..."
Seeing Damian Quinn walk out of the conference room, Chase Sherman promptly and respectfully reported the upcoming schedule.
"In fifteen minutes, you have a eting with Grant Group."
"Okay."
Damian wore a grim face, his long, deep, almond-shaped eyes dark and cold, every feature showing his foul mood.
Seeing the faint dark circles under his eyes, Chase couldn’t help but speak up, "Master Damian, you didn’t sleep at all last night. Should we delay the upcoming schedule so you can rest a bit?"
If it weren’t for the urgent eting at the company early this morning, they wouldn’t have known how long their Master Damian planned to stand at the Everett Family’s doorstep!
"No need."
Damian flatly refused, as delaying would encroach on the afternoon.
In the afternoon, he still had to pick up the little girl from school.
"Alright, Master Damian." Chase nodded in acknowledgnt, then hesitantly continued, "The people from The Netherworld Syndicate are demanding that we hand over the shipnt... Master Damian, what should we do?"
The ntion of this made Damian’s expression grow colder.
Seeing Damian’s shadowy countenance, Chase braced himself and cautiously suggested.
"Master Damian, perhaps you should just return the shipnt to The Netherworld Syndicate, then Miss Serena wouldn’t be so upset..."
Chase swallowed the rest of his words when faced with Damian’s icy gaze, not daring to utter another word.
"Keep holding onto it."
The man coldly tossed out these four words before turning to head to his office.
Watching this, Chase couldn’t help but let out a heavy sigh.
He knew full well that their Master Damian’s refusal to return the shipnt was due to his unwillingness, unwilling to accept Lucas Laine’s status in Miss Serena’s heart as more important than his own.
But if Master Damian didn’t return the goods, Miss Serena’s anger wouldn’t dissipate!
Such a deadlock they were in, nothing seed right...
