Eleanor Linden was trembling with anger, her eyes filled with resentnt, but when Serena Everett shot her a cold glance, she imdiately lowered her head in fear, not daring to et Serena’s gaze.
Seeing her cower like this, Serena let out a scornful laugh, dripping with sarcasm, then turned and strode away.
The resentnt in Eleanor’s eyes deepened as she bit her lips in frustration.
What’s so smug about that wicked woman Serena!

"Eleanor, do you have so misunderstanding with Serena? It looks like you two don’t get along very well..."
"It’s just a small misunderstanding!" Eleanor dismissed her casually, then spoke with a sincere tone, "Crystal, you’re not Serena’s pet, why do you listen to her so much? She tells you to go, and you go?

Crystal Joyce: "But Serena ca to bring dicine, Eleanor. I think you’re misunderstanding Serena; she’s really nice to !"

Eleanor discreetly rolled her eyes. Crystal really was foolish. Serena had a marriage contract with Damian Quinn, and she was the only woman who received Damian’s care. How could Serena possibly tolerate her?
"Crystal, you really shouldn’t take the dicine she gives you. She’s just a student studying dicine; the prescriptions she gives are not to be trusted!"
"Besides, your health is already so fragile, if sothing goes wrong from her dicine, it would be a disaster."
Silas apparently shared Eleanor’s thoughts and chid in, "That’s right, Miss Crystal, you shouldn’t take that dicine."
That Serena definitely can’t be so kind-hearted!
"Alright, I’ll listen to you guys." Crystal, soft by nature, could only nod and agree, "But no matter what, it’s a kind gesture from Serena. I’ll take it back and keep it."
"Crystal, you’re just too kind!" Eleanor patted her hand, her eyes twinkling as she opened her mouth to sow discord again, "But I have to tell you sothing, before I heard Serena speak ill of you in the classroom! Serena doesn’t really like you, Crystal, you shouldn’t get too close to her!"
"She doesn’t like ?" Crystal’s eyes dimd imdiately, clearly crestfallen, "So Serena dislikes ..."
"Alright, alright, let’s not talk about unhappy things!" Eleanor resud her act as the supportive friend, "Crystal, I rember today is your birthday, so I especially invited you to spend it with you."
"Thank you, Eleanor!"
Seeing Crystal’s surprised and happy face, Eleanor sneered inwardly.
As expected, she’s still as foolish as when she was a kid—just a few words can deceive her completely.
"We’re best friends, no need to be so formal with !" Eleanor smiled as she spoke,
"By the way, Crystal, it’s your birthday today! You should invite Master Damian to join us, he can spend the day with you too!"
Considering a man as outstanding as Damian Quinn, she refused to believe Crystal wouldn’t have feelings for him! Even if she didn’t, the fact that Damian had cared for her all these years must an there’s so dependence.
So as long as she exploited this point, she could make Crystal increasingly hostile towards that shaless Serena, eventually using that fool Crystal against Serena!

With those words, Serena imdiately walked into the car, leaving them alone with ti.
Nancy still hadn’t co down from the joy of the mont before, her eyes smiling, "Elliot, I... I’m okay with anything, I’m not picky at all!"
"Alright, then I’ll choose the restaurant."
Elliot’s smile grew more pronounced as he took out a beautifully wrapped gift box from his arms.
"This is a gift for you."
Sohow, when choosing gifts for Serena, he accidentally saw this rose brooch, and it inexplicably reminded him of her, thinking she was as bright and beautiful as the brooch, he couldn’t resist buying it.
