“Mmmm,” Bai Yan complies with a comforted smile of her own knowing she’s not being lied to, which imdiately warranted a long deep kiss from the other side.

With the madam’s birthday banquet being over, the guests too have also left for their own hos. But there are certain individuals who remained throughout the night though, mainly Liu Qing Yu and Uncle Jun from the Spirit Realm. They’ve been waiting outside Bai Yan’s room the entire night so they heard everything, including the moaning and groaning for hours on end.
Surprisingly enough, unlike the old grandpa who was flushing hard from all the sexually arousing sounds coming their way, it was Liu Qing Yu who was rather calm for the awkward situation despite the uncomfortable stance she was making. This problem continued until late into the afternoon, ending only after the doors were swung open and out ca the occupants inside.
Apparently last night’s nourishing treatnt did wonders for Bai Yan’s complexion because she was absolutely gorgeous in how her cheeks were a peachy pink.
“What’s the matter?” she asks with a hint of lancholy in the voice after noticing the two waiting bodies.

“The formality can be put aside. Take this dical pill here and have that old man eat it first.” Pullin out a beady little thing similar to the one she fed the other girl, Bai Yan’s expression was flat and unchanging.
Thankfully the matter with the poison had been explained prior to this eting so the reaction wasn’t huge from the senior. rely a few twitches in the mouth before he swallowed it. “Mistress, please go ahead and call Jun Hao.”
“Mhmm, after you two finish asking for forgiveness, you are free to go back to the Spirit Realm.”
“Go back to the Spirit Realm?” Liu Qing Yu’s complexion promptly turned a shade whiter, “Mistress, my father will definitely investigate the matter before he cos to the mortal world. If I go back like this then he’s going to find out what I did. Please have rcy and let stay.”
If she had managed to break into the Celestial Rank then her father would at least keep her alive out of consideration for her usefulness. But that wasn’t the case here and the only fate awaiting her return would be death.
“I believe you will have a way to get through it, and if you can’t do anything then what good is there in keeping you around? I don’t have use for idle loafers.” Bai Yan bluntly throws her logic out in the open without a bit of rcy, causing the other lady to go ghostly white.
“Mistress, I am very useful and strong.” Panic apparent in Liu Qing Yu’s voice, “I can fight in battle and Uncle Jun can protect you during a clash.”
“Oh,” Bai Yan’s voice sounded amused, “protect ? I believe my husband is more than enough to protect . The two of you are excessive.”
Di Cang’s gaze also started to get dangerously narrow at the two interlopers trying to steal his job: “My wife has spoken, do you two have an opinion?”
Now this has left the two on the receiving end in a bind. This mission they got was truly difficult for them to achieve.
“I will carry out your orders as commanded Mistress,” getting to her knee, the woman from the Spirit Realm complies after gritting her teeth. She understands this was the only way to prove herself.
“Good,” only then did Bai Yan’s expression soften up. Taking out two bottles from her pocket, “This here is the antidote portioned for one year. Co back to for more afterwards, and if you don’t believe the effects of the poison then you are free to not take it.”
