The man held a very clear picture of the lass’s physical condition so the fact that soone could cure her left a lot of questions to be answered.

Even at this point the womanizer still doesn’t know why he’s acting so heartbroken over the scene of Bai Yan being dragged into the bottom of the river. It’s definitely not love or adoration, that much he’s certain. So, what could this feeling be that’s constantly stinging at his heart?

With the guarantee of the lady of the house, Xun Huan’s expression also lightened up: “Thank you Mother, as long as you can save her then I will be good in the future too!”

Coughing twice at the added attention, the chief knew he must take a side: “Everything is to be done according to my wife’s will.”
Since Wu Wei has spoken, the rest of the elders could do nothing but carry out the command. Arching their fist, they quickly retreated away.
“Are you trying to take a chance with that lady after hearing Xun Huan’s claim?” Alone now, the husband turns to his wife and asks inquisitively.
