Chapter 1940 “Nightmare (8)”
“Why, why are you making taste this pain again and again? I don’t want to go on like this anymore, and I don’t want to see you dying before my eyes White Tiger……”
Anger ignites from within Bai Yan’s sobbing eyes, her hands tightly grasping onto her friend’s body as she trembled due to the intense emotion.
“Am I really going to be stuck here forever?” she growls at the air with no specific target, “I refuse to believe this. I refuse to believe there’s no way out of this nightmare. Di Cang, Xiachen, wait for , I won’t let this hurdle stop !”
Despite having no more tears left to cry with, Bai Yan still found her cheeks moist as she stared up towards the crimson red sky. Then suddenly, after a long while of this, she made a surprised face.
“It’s raining? The few tis I’ve experienced this, I don’t recall it ever raining… Of course, there were deviations in the past, but only small things like a word or a tiny gesture, this can’t be normal.”
Why is that?
“Yan Yan, why are you asleep here? Hurry and wake up please…”
Boom!
A voice exploded in her head, bringing forth a wave of warmth and familiarity.
The corners of Bai Yan’s mouth moved slightly as she took another look over the entire battlefield. Only then did she notice the flickering images of everyone around until they completely disappeared from her eyes.
Right now, there’s only a hazy white mist from where she stood.
“Yan Yan, Yan Yan…”
The call was getting closer and closer until Bai Yan couldn’t resist heading for the source of this voice.
Eventually a dazzling ray of sunlight shone through this fog. Out of reflex, she raised a hand to swipe away at the whiteness blocking her line of sight. This instantly dispersed the closest whiteness from her gesture to reveal that young teenage face.
“Yan Yan, you finally woke up…” The young teen’s face was all smiles after seeing her eyes opening.
“Mo, Li, Shang?” (piggy’s owner)
There was still a dull look in Bai Yan’s eyes, but it didn’t take long before her focus locked onto the guy’s smile.
“Why are you here?”
The teenager scratched the back of his head and replied cluelessly, “I don’t know, one mont I was asleep, the next I was here when I awoke. Rather it’s you Yan Yan, why are you sleeping on the ground?”
Bai Yan furrowed her brows at the explanation.
If I had co out of the nightmare then what’s the explanation for Mo Li Shang’s appearance in the Hell Domain? Am I going through another dream with him instead?
She propped herself up and scanned the surroundings. There’s still the sea of fire behind her, which showed she had crossed over that part like she rembered.
No, this isn’t a nightmare, I’ve completely escaped from it!
This is thanks to Mo Li Shang’s call. If he didn’t call for , I might still be inside that never-ending loop of suffering. No matter if it’s a coincidence, he’s a total lifesaver!
But then Bai Yan recalled sothing important. Narrowing her eyes in at the lad, the demon queen tries to pinpoint the familiarity with anything that cos to mind. Unsurprisingly, nothing ca of it because the woman didn’t know this guy a thousand years ago! She didn’t know this person!
“Yan Yan, why are you looking at with that kind of face?” Mo Li Shang acted all embarrassed and asked, “Did I do sothing wrong?”
