Ye You was right in guessing, this ghost was aiming to borrow a body to regain life.

Just now, Wanwan had taken possession of Lin Shan’s body and choked Qin Sisi’s neck. Even if she was stopped quickly, there were still two dark red finger marks left on Qin Sisi’s delicate front neck.
Qin Sisi was so focused on Lin Shan and the ghost that she didn’t feel it, but Ye You had long noticed and was in pain.
After fifteen minutes, the red marks on Qin Sisi’s neck finally disappeared and her skin returned to its white softness. Ye You then let go of his hand, curled up next to Qin Sisi, and fell asleep with her.
