Chapter 997: Chapter 997: Uncle, Please Help
Xiao ng still wanted to feign ignorance and retorted, "We did not use magic power."
Mr. Yan Fei’s smile grew colder, and his tone carried a faint hint of mockery, "Young lady, although I’m just a High-level Magic Spirit, no tricks or movents in this venue can escape my eyes."
Xiao ng’s heart skipped a beat, and she hurriedly used her Divine Sense to observe; Mr. Yan Fei indeed radiated a strong red aura.
This left her sowhat disheartened. Despite the two-tier level gap, even if he couldn’t pinpoint her exact location after she used the Invisible Grass, he was capable of catching a trace of light and shadow, and could deduce her approximate trajectory from it.
Thus, her invisibility while teaching that guard nad Ah Hu a lesson was not entirely undetected.
At this ti, Ms. ngyan and others inside the VIP sales area also noticed sothing amiss and charged over furiously.
"Mr. Yan Fei, these two wicked won actually dared to attack my guard; I must teach them a lesson!" Ms. ngyan pointed at Qin Sisi and Xiao ng, her eyes filled with rage as she spoke.
Although she wouldn’t be upset over a guard being beaten a couple of tis, beating a dog depends on the owner. Defying her guard was clearly a challenge to her authority.
Ms. ngyan’s disrespectful words instantly infuriated Xiao ng, and just as she was about to retort, she was stopped by Qin Sisi.
Qin Sisi patted Xiao ng’s shoulder, signaling her to stay calm.
Mr. Yan Fei is a High-level Magic Spirit; they were definitely no match for him. Ms. ngyan isn’t much of an issue, being just a Low-Level Magic Instructor, but among her four guards are an Interdiate Magic Teacher, a High-level Magic Teacher, and even a Low-level Magic Star.
Considering the formidable strength of their opponents, a direct confrontation was out of the question; they could only try reasoning.
Qin Sisi chose to reason with Mr. Yan Fei because she sensed that Ms. ngyan, much like Miss Ya Ling, was unlikely to be receptive to reason.
"Mr. Yan Fei, since you said that no tricks or movents within this venue can escape your eyes, did you happen to see that I almost got pushed over?" Qin Sisi asked gently, her expression calm.
Yan Fei was stunned for a mont, not expecting Qin Sisi to raise such a question.
He indeed saw Qin Sisi almost being pushed over, but he didn’t want to offend Ms. ngyan for an insignificant person, so he chose to turn a blind eye.
However, later on, Xiao ng provoked Ah Hu, and during that ti, she activated the Invisible Grass with her magical power.
It is explicitly stipulated on the flying device that passengers are not allowed to use magical power during the flight.
That’s why Yan Fei stepped in to stop Qin Sisi and Xiao ng. Even if he didn’t punish them, a warning was inevitable.
This question truly put Yan Fei in a difficult spot. If he said he didn’t see it, his previous statents would be as aningless as flatulence; if he admitted seeing it, it would an that Ms. ngyan’s people bullied Qin Sisi first, and they were rely retaliating.
Before Yan Fei figured out how to respond, Ms. ngyan had already blurted out, "So what if I pushed you? Daring to hit my people, you really are courting death!"
Yan Fei frowned and felt like cursing inside. If it wasn’t for Ms. ngyan being particularly generous every ti she shopped here, he would genuinely want to throw her out.
He hadn’t decided yet how to settle the matter of Ms. ngyan’s guard pushing Qin Sisi, but the lady had already admitted to it herself.
Qin Sisi gritted her teeth and pretended not to hear Ms. ngyan’s shouting, focusing solely on Yan Fei. However, her gaze inevitably grew colder, like two chilling stars twinkling on a deep winter night.
Although Yan Fei was annoyed, he still asked Ms. ngyan politely, "Ms. ngyan, how do you plan to handle this?"
Ms. ngyan snorted and said, "She slapped my guard twice, so let my guard return four slaps to her, to teach her a proper lesson and let her know who she can and cannot provoke."
"You dare!" Xiao ng could no longer hold back.
She did not like to provoke trouble, but she believed in retaliation. After all, she was a proud daughter of the Clan Leader of the Muyin family; how could she allow soone to slap her face randomly?
Ms. ngyan scoffed and said, "Don’t I dare? Ah Hu, go!"
Ah Hu had been eyeing the one who had slapped him, waiting for the opportunity. At his master’s command, he pounced toward Xiao ng like a fierce tiger.
As Qin Sisi moved to intercept Ah Hu, she saw Xiao ng agilely jump behind Yan Fei, prompting her to pause her actions.
Ah Hu charged ferociously, and even though he realized he was about to confront Yan Fei, it was too late to stop. His large body directly crashed into Yan Fei.
Yan Fei’s expression changed, and instinctively, he flipped his palm to form a magic shield in front of himself.
The strength of a Magic Spirit is not comparable to that of a magic teacher. Ah Hu collided heavily with the shield, and with a loud "thud," he was bounced back, flying several ters backward before crashing to the ground, resulting in a loud thump.
Ms. ngyan watched in shock and angrily shouted at Yan Fei, "Mr. Yan Fei, what is going on? Why did you attack my man?"
Yan Fei waved his hands repeatedly, continuously explaining, "It’s a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding, I absolutely didn’t an to."
Xiao ng peeked out from behind Yan Fei, grinning cheekily, "It wasn’t unintentional, it was deliberate."
"You... let go of my clothes now!" Yan Fei, infuriated, puffed his cheeks and glared as he yelled fiercely at Xiao ng.
Xiao ng clung to Yan Fei’s clothes and coquettishly said, "Uncle, your backside is the safest place, please help !"
Yan Fei didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He could easily shake off Xiao ng with a little bit of magic power, but on the flying device, he had to abide by the rules which prevent the arbitrary use of magic power unless it involved behavior endangering the safety of the flying device.
He could justify using his magic power to form a shield and send Ah Hu flying as self-defense, but if he used magic power on Xiao ng, who hadn’t attacked him, it would be hard to explain, and the owner would certainly punish him.
Ms. ngyan initially thought this minor issue would be quickly resolved, but it turned out to be more troubleso. Frustrated, she stomped her foot. Seeing that Xiao ng was temporarily out of her reach, she suddenly pointed at Qin Sisi and ordered her other three guards, "Go, capture her for !"
"Yes!" The three guards responded in unison, then collectively moved toward Qin Sisi.
Among these three guards, one was an Interdiate Magic Teacher, one was a High-level Magic Teacher, and one was a Low-level Magic Star. Together, they were opponents Qin Sisi could not possibly defeat.
Qin Sisi’s face darkened, surprised that Ms. ngyan would act so recklessly and that Yan Fei did not seem to intend to stop her.
If these guards only used brute force without employing magic power, it probably would not count as a violation of the regulations.
