Chapter 983: Chapter 983: Announcing the Results
Qin Sisi’s physical state had only recently recovered when the surrounding light dimd. She had grown accustod to the changing scenes and felt no trace of nervousness; instead, she calmly closed her eyes, waiting for the light to return.
When she sensed the light outside had beco stable, she opened her eyes and found herself in a room similar to an alchemy lab. The room was not very large, with walls made of dark red square bricks. In the center of the room, there was a forging furnace.
Qin Sisi smiled slightly. It was clear what the subject of this assessnt would be.
The final magic course’s assessnt had finally started; this was truly the endga, the term assessnts would soon be over. She would use her forging skill to perfect the end of this term’s assessnts with a satisfactory full stop!
Next to the forging furnace lay a piece of black material. Qin Sisi, having visited the Testing Gold Pavilion many tis, imdiately recognized it as black iron.
Black iron was a grade higher than the raw iron they used in class and was approximately five tis the price. Qin Sisi felt that the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle was quite generous to provide higher-quality materials for the test.
She took a deep breath, steadied her heart, and released a ball of Fire Attribute Magic Power, igniting the forging furnace with the Fire Ignition Skill.
When a forging furnace is manufactured, it is always loaded with especially high endurance fuel that can last at least a year; higher-quality furnaces can last over ten years.
The Jiu Hua Divine Cauldron that Ye You gifted to Qin Sisi belonged to the Ancient Divine Artifacts, it had an internal fuel that could self-repair, so there was no need for replenishnt ever.
The forging furnace provided by the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle for this assessnt seed to be of higher quality than the ones they used in class, made of better materials, and of finer craftsmanship.
After igniting the forging furnace, Qin Sisi placed the block of black iron on top, first removing the impurities, and after reaching the required softness, she gathered Gold Attribute Magic Power in her hand, shaping the iron into the form of a longsword.
The process of forging had been practiced countless tis both in and out of class, so it was naturally done with ease and proficiency.
Looking at the roughly shaped longsword, Qin Sisi had a thought and, using her index finger and a touch of Gold Attribute Magic Power, engraved an image of a black cat on the handle of the sword.
Although she wasn’t very skilled in drawing, she could manage simple sketches. The black cat, outlined with just a few strokes, managed to look sowhat cute.
Qin Sisi tilted her head and observed for a while, feeling that the black cat did not compare to even one ten-thousandth of Ye You, but it could serve as a token of sentint.
She withdrew her Gold Attribute Magic Power and released Fire Attribute Magic Power, beginning a full-scale, all-around forging by fire on the longsword.
Being an official assessnt, she was even more cautious and ticulous than usual, and after an hour, the forging was complete. The blackness of the black iron had faded, leaving a longsword with a cold gleam quietly resting on the forging furnace, adorned with a small black cat on its handle.
Qin Sisi wiped the sweat from her forehead, breathed a sigh of relief, and nodded with satisfaction.
She extinguished the flas in the forging furnace, picked up her ticulously completed work, and closely examined it.
Just then, the surroundings began to change. The cramped room disappeared, and a long corridor materialized before her, with mist on both sides giving the illusion of being both real and surreal.
Having considered the situation, Qin Sisi figured the assessnt should have co to an end, and theoretically, no danger should arise. Thus, she started walking along the long corridor.
She couldn’t tell how long she had been walking when suddenly the sound of a door closing ca from behind. She turned back in surprise to see that the door to the trial tower had been closed.
When she turned back around, the corridor had vanished, as had the mist.
She found herself back at the open space on the summit of Tianyi Mountain. Headmaster Master Yipiao and all the teachers of Heaven Academy stood not far in front of her, smiling as they watched her.
Qin Sisi’s gaze swept across their faces one by one, and according to their expressions, she felt her results should probably be okay.
She took two steps forward when a familiar call ca from the side; she turned her head and saw Xiao ng walking towards her with a beaming smile.
Behind Xiao ng, there were seven other classmates.
This left Qin Sisi sowhat surprised; she was actually the last one to co out, which made her a bit worried, unsure whether the ti taken for the assessnt would affect her final results.
Teacher Yusha gestured for them to co over, stand in a row in front of the teachers, and then Master Yipiao began to announce the assessnt results.
Everyone’s heart grew tense; the quality of their studies over the past five months was about to be set in stone.
Master Yipiao read the results in the order in which they left the trial tower, with Li Li being the first to complete the assessnt.
Li Li was of a cool disposition and decisive behavior, making quick decisions when faced with issues, without any hesitation, and hence she completed the assessnt quickly.
However, fast speed doesn’t necessarily an good quality.
Li Li’s performance was quite good, scoring a high of 98 in her intrinsic attribute, Wind Magic, with her other magic attribute scores all above 90 points.
But her two supplentary magic skills, Alchemy, and forging skills had lower scores, only above 80 points.
Next, Master Yipiao sequentially read out the assessnt results for Qing Pu, An Yun, Ya Ling, Yun Cheng, Xiao ng, Chu Ming, and Wen Xuan.
They all did well in magic subjects related to their intrinsic attributes, with other subjects slightly lagging. Overall, high-level magic teachers like Qing Pu and Ya Ling perford a bit better.
However, Ya Ling’s two supplentary magics also brought her score down, with forging skills above 80 points, and Alchemy only above 70 points, which was the lowest amongst the nine.
Qin Sisi paid particular attention to Xiao ng, Yun Cheng, and Wen Xuan’s results.
Xiao ng and Yun Cheng both scored the highest among the nine in their intrinsic attribute magic, with scores for other magic subjects being quite balanced, just over 90 points. However, Xiao ng’s Alchemy was very strong, and she scored high, potentially allowing her to surpass Yun Cheng overall.
Wen Xuan scored a high 98 in Music Magic, but his results in the other eleven subjects were quite average, either 88 or 89, with no particularly high or low scores.
Qin Sisi knew that Wen Xuan was still very hardworking; perhaps his talent in other magic attributes ultimately fell short.
There was another person who Qin Sisi found very strange, and that was Chu Ming.
With Gold Attribute as his intrinsic attribute, Chu Ming’s Golden Magic and forging skills were expected to score well, but the outco wasn’t like that. Each of his subjects was quite ordinary, all in the 80-point range, including his Gold Attribute Magic.
After reading the results of eight people, it was finally ti for Qin Sisi’s results.
Although Qin Sisi felt she had done fairly well, at this mont she couldn’t help but feel nervous, not just for herself, but also for Ye You.
After the end-of-term assessnt, there would be a holiday, and she was going to et with Ye You; she didn’t want to speak of the end-of-term assessnt with a face full of sha when talking to Ye You, nor did she want to disappoint him.
Master Yipiao paused for a mont, looking deeply at Qin Sisi, his deep voice sounding again, starting to announce Qin Sisi’s results.
