Chapter 957: Chapter 957: Offending Thoroughly

"Sister Sisi..." Xiao ng saw Qin Sisi not speaking and grew increasingly worried, unable to stop herself from calling out to her.

Qin Sisi ca back to her senses, smiled at Xiao ng, and said, "It’s okay, I’ll clean up and then go."

She entered the room, washed her face, and changed her clothes.

After fighting with an Earth Attribute Demonic Beast the day before yesterday, her clothes were covered in dirt. Though she had changed her clothes, she had slept in them while resting with Ye You last night, making them wrinkled. She didn’t know what Teacher Yusha would say when she saw them.

After getting ready, Qin Sisi told Xiao ng and then summoned the Wings of Rainbow and flew toward Tianhuan Mountain where Yu Sha lived.

In Yu Sha’s room, each of the four corners had a hollowed-out tal fra with a fist-sized Luminous Pearl placed on top, illuminating the entire room as if it were dayti.

A large mahogany desk was placed facing the door. Yu Sha sat quietly behind the desk, leaning against the wide and comfortable backrest of the Taishi Chair, her eyes closed to rejuvenate her spirit.

A cup of tea was on the desk, the teaware was delicate and elegant. The snow-white porcelain was embellished with intricate blue patterns, and the fragrance of the tea was pleasant and refreshing, regrettably, Yu Sha’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed.

A woman in gray stood behind her, carefully observing Yu Sha’s expression.

This gray-clad woman was Ah Yuan, Yu Sha’s servant who had been injured by two of Ru Lin’s Little Rose Elves that night.

The night was as serene as water, Yu Sha’s face was gloomy, and she was silent for a long ti, with Ah Yuan not daring to say another word.

Suddenly, a few quiet knocks sounded from outside the door.

Ah Yuan covertly glanced at Yu Sha and quickly walked to the door to open it, revealing a lower-ranking maidservant responsible for delivering ssages standing outside.

Ah Yuan’s face darkened, she scolded in a low voice, "What are you knocking for? Don’t you know the master is in a bad mood?"

The young maid shrank her neck in fear and replied softly, "Sister Ah Yuan, a student nad Qin Sisi is here, she said the master asked for her."

Ah Yuan was startled just about to say sothing when Yu Sha’s voice ca from behind her, "Let her in!"

"Yes." The maidservant bowed her head and slowly retreated.

Having followed Yu Sha for many years, Ah Yuan, seeing this situation, mostly guessed that Yu Sha’s bad mood was related to this student nad Qin Sisi, and silently stood back behind Yu Sha.

After a while, the maidservant led Qin Sisi over and knocked on the door again.

"Co in." Yu Sha’s voice was slightly hoarse.

The maidservant turned around, lowered her head, and said to Qin Sisi, "Miss, please co in."

Seeing the maidservant’s submissive, cringing manner, and thinking she probably didn’t dare enter, Qin Sisi directly pushed open the door and walked in.

Standing before Teacher Yusha’s desk, Qin Sisi calmly perford a bow and greeted, "Teacher Yusha."

Yusha’s eyes were as still as an ancient well, her expression hidden beneath her white veil.

On her way here, Qin Sisi had felt sowhat uneasy, but now, facing the situation, she felt calm. She had done nothing wrong and need not be afraid.

"Qin Sisi, do you know why I asked you to co here?" Yusha stared into Qin Sisi’s eyes, asking each word distinctly.

Qin Sisi lowered her eyelids, responding softly, "I do not know."

Yusha’s brows furrowed, her voice growing sterner, "Have you forgotten all that I’ve said before, or did you never rember them in the first place?"

Qin Sisi was silent for a mont, then raised her head and said, "Teacher Yusha, if you are referring to my being late for return, I have three questions that I would like your clarification on."

Yusha was taken aback; she had thought inviting Qin Sisi over would make her feel guilty and apologize voluntarily. Yet, to her surprise, Qin Sisi’s attitude was unyielding.

Ah Yuan, observing her master did not speak and thinking she was at a loss for words, hurriedly jumped to her defense with a harsh glare at Qin Sisi, scolding, "How dare you speak to Teacher Yusha like this, it is clear you co from an uncultured family with no manners at all!"

The Eight Great Families hold enormous power in the Demon Sacred Realm, and even a servant like Ah Yuan had heard about the younger generation sent to the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle from these families.

The na Qin Sisi was slightly odd to her, as she recalls no one of this na from the Eight Great Families, which was why she dared to berate Qin Sisi so boldly.

Qin Sisi shifted her gaze from Teacher Yusha to Ah Yuan, seeing the kind of servant reflective of the master. Teacher Yusha harbored prejudices against her, and even her servants dared be so rude to her.

Yusha slightly raised her eyelids and glanced at Ah Yuan, signaling her to mind her language, considering Qin Sisi was favored by Ye You, they ought to show so respect.

However, Ah Yuan misunderstood, thinking Yusha intended for her to play ’good cop’ while she played ’bad cop’, thus, she temporarily halted her words, pondering how to intimidate Qin Sisi further in a mont.

Yusha then addressed Qin Sisi, "What questions do you have? Feel free to ask."

Qin Sisi nodded, then loudly said, "First, I returned just as it got dark. Everyone at the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle was still engaging in their own activities; I believe the timing of my return was not late. Second, the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle has no explicit rule that mandates returning before dark on days off. Third, if returning after dark indeed breaks the rule, deserving punishnt, then should those who returned later than

not face even greater punishnt?"

Seeing Qin Sisi deliberately opposing her today, Yusha replied coolly, "Indeed, the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle hasn’t specified that one must return before dark—that’s my own rule. I set it with your best interests at heart. Young girls running out on days off, either staying out until late or not returning at all, is concerning. You are favored by His Royal Highness; your improper behavior could tarnish his reputation. Is that what you want to see?"

"As for the punishnt, I originally only intended to warn you and hadn’t thought about punishing you. However, since you brought it up, I’d like to ask—who returned later than you?"

The first half of Yusha’s response sowhat moved Qin Sisi. Considering Ye You’s whereabouts were confidential, she dared not say she went out to et Ye You. If soone used her overnight absence against her, it could stir up trouble.

However, the latter part of Yusha’s statent put Qin Sisi on alert again; her tone clearly expressed disbelief that anyone could have returned later than Qin Sisi, indicating she considered Qin Sisi the most frivolous and disobedient among the students.

Qin Sisi, having been hesitating, now crossed her heart and said directly, "Miss Ya Ling has not yet returned. If you don’t believe , you can check her room."

Since her conflict with Ya Ling was irreconcilable, she might as well offend to the fullest!
