Chapter 897: Chapter 897: It’s You

Seeing the red-clothed man remain obstinate, the two black-clothed figures gave up on threatening persuasion. They glanced at each other and simultaneously lifted their arms, conjuring a Magic Light Sphere of imnse energy, launching an attack towards the red-clothed man.

If this strike didn’t succeed, they feared that their lives would be in danger. Therefore, on this attack, both poured all of their magic strength into it.

The corners of the red-clothed man’s lips were tinged with a dismissive sneer. He calmly lifted his arm and gently flicked it in front of him. A semi-transparent magic shield materialized, light blue in color, with faint traces of wind swirling continuously upon it.

The two enormous Magic Light Spheres released by the black-clothed figures shone brightly, causing nearby leaves and pebbles to be drawn towards them. The powerful energy wave crashed against the shield.

The black-clothed figures expected a strong collision between such formidable offensive and defensive skills to result in a violent explosion, but to their astonishnt,

their fully exerted Magic Light Spheres evaporated upon contact with the red-clothed man’s magic shield, as if a clay oxen disappearing into the sea, sucked into the whirling vortex of wind and vanishing without a trace.

The two black-clothed figures’ eyes widened in disbelief, unable to comprehend how their combined strike not only missed the target but failed to even splash.

"Heavenly Wind Barrier!" One of them recognized the magic skill employed by the red-clothed man, fear instantly gripping their heart.

"Who exactly are you?" They stared at the red-clothed man, seemingly seeking confirmation of their guess.

The red-clothed man raised his chin, replying with a cold, arrogant deanor: "You are not worthy to know this young master’s na. Since you’ve had your turn, now it’s mine. Wind Blade Attack!"

While speaking, he lifted his right hand and made a light twirling motion, followed by what seed an effortless push of his palm. A hurricane vortex ford, imbued with intensely destructive Wind Spirit Power, hurtling towards the two black-clothed figures.

Sensing danger, the black-clad individuals scrambled to summon their strongest energy to form a shield for protection.

However, a Magic Star can effortlessly defeat a mage, just as a Magic Spirit can effortlessly defeat a Magic Star.

The energy wave of the Wind Blade Attack shattered their shields without pause, turning into countless thin fragnts of Wind Spirit Power, like sharp daggers wielded by the wild wind to slice the two black-clothed figures.

After a series of agonized screams, two grueso corpses appeared on the ground of the Holy Forest, severed heads from their bodies, flesh turned inside out, drenched in blood, their original forms unrecognizable.

However, both heads were intact, still covered in black cloth, resting quietly on the ground not far away.

The red-clothed man snorted coldly, no longer glancing at the two corpses, turned around to approach Qin Sisi, crouched beside her, gazed at her pale face and softly asked, "Are you alright?"

Qin Sisi was to the brink of weakness, barely maintaining consciousness. She had only seen the red-clothed man’s back, not recognizing who he was, feeling a sense of familiarity. Now, with his face close, Qin Sisi recalled his na.

"Is it you?" Her voice weak, a look of surprise crossed her face.

The red-clothed man smiled, revealing pearly white teeth, speaking in a clear voice, "Yes, it’s . Were you thinking of saying thank you? There’s no need for such courtesy. If you really wish to express gratitude, perhaps..."

Before he could finish, Qin Sisi felt a profound wave of fatigue hit her, her body failing to support her any longer, her eyes closed as she fainted.

"Hey, Qin Sisi!" The red-clothed man’s expression changed, a trace of concern flashing in his eyes, he hastily bent down to lift Qin Sisi into his arms.

At this mont, another figure leaped down from a large tree on the other side.

The red inner garnt, a black windbreaker overcoat, a heroic and lively appearance, with a solemn expression, but when she looked at the man in red, a trace of lting ice and snow suddenly showed in her eyes.

"Young Master, how is she?" The newly appeared figure asked the man in red, her voice light and llow, it was Li Li.

The one called "Young Master" by her was, of course, Jiu Ge.

Jiu Ge replied softly, "She seems to be seriously wounded, I will find a quiet place to heal her."

Li Li wanted to say sothing more, but a voice full of urgency ca from near the entrance of the Holy Forest: "Xiao ng, Xiao ng, where are you?"

Li Li’s face slightly changed as she said, "It’s Yun Cheng."

Jiu Ge frowned slightly, and with an air of half-praise and half-mockery, said, "The people of the Panhu family do have a keen sense of sll."

After a pause, he said to Li Li, "You go back first. Be more careful from now on."

Li Li’s expression ward slightly as she asked, "And what about you?"

Jiu Ge pressed his lips tightly together, his gaze falling on the unconscious Qin Sisi’s face. He did not reply to Li Li’s question but with a slight movent of his mind, he harnessed the power of magic to form two semi-transparent wings behind him.

As the wings flapped, Jiu Ge, carrying Qin Sisi, rose with the wind and flew towards the deeper parts of the Holy Forest.

Li Li looked sowhat disappointedly at Jiu Ge’s vanishing form, her thoughts disturbed by Yun Cheng’s increasingly loud calls. Her expression returned to its usual coldness, her body nimbly jumping up, taking to the treetops and, using the dense foliage for cover, slowly faded into the distance.

Jiu Ge was right; Yun Cheng had co following his naturally sensitive nose.

Before Ye You left, he had told Yun Cheng to inform him in detail about anything that happened to Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi was injured during a wind magic class and Yun Cheng felt it would be best to let Lord Yeyou know. So, on his day off, he left Heavenly Magic God’s Castle early in the morning and headed to the Panhu family’s base in Scholar City to tell his brother Yun Wang about the incident.

Not long after Qin Sisi and her party had left the entrance near Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, Yun Cheng also arrived on his way back. Just as he was about to enter the corridor leading to Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, he suddenly slled Xiao ng’s scent.

Had it been just Qin Sisi’s scent in the bustling street, he might have overlooked it, but Xiao ng was soone crucial to him, so he noticed it imdiately and also picked up on Qin Sisi’s scent.

What puzzled him was that the scent of the two of them did not extend into the corridor, but instead spread towards the direction of the Holy Forest.

A sense of alertness rose in Yun Cheng’s heart, and he followed their scent.

The surroundings beca quieter, and a strong scent of blood wafted through the air, reaching his nose and causing Yun Cheng to tense up and start calling out loudly.

Jiu Ge carried Qin Sisi and flew with the wind, while Yun Cheng faintly saw a red figure swiftly flying far away. After a brief contemplation, he quickly rushed to the place where the red figure had departed from.
