Chapter 878: Chapter 878: Li Li Goes Missing

Seeing Qin Sisi in her current state, both Xiao ng, who was full of sympathy for her, and Wen Xuan, who was always refined, couldn’t help but want to laugh. However, they both felt embarrassed and could only desperately hold it in.

Qin Sisi, seeing their awkward expressions as they tried not to laugh, knew even without seeing that her current appearance must be quite unsightly. She sighed dejectedly, thinking of Ye You.

She wondered if Ye You had been as awkward when he practiced Earth Attribute Magic. If he too was covered in mud and dicinal oil...

Qin Sisi couldn’t imagine what Ye You would have looked like in such a state, but thinking that he likely had similar experiences brought her a little comfort.

Now it was almost 5:00 a.m., and Teacher Taitan told the three of them to go back and rest for a while, as their Wind Attribute Magic class was about to start.

Wen Xuan returned to Tianyang Mountain, while Qin Sisi and Xiao ng went back to Tianyue Mountain. However, they couldn’t just go to sleep right away. They couldn’t bring all that mud into their beds!

They both had to stifle their sleepiness and thoroughly clean themselves up in their own dorms before they could finally go to bed.

After sleeping for less than two hours, Yun Cheng’s knocking woke them up.

Yun Cheng had learned from Wen Xuan that Xiao ng had stayed up all night with Qin Sisi and was worried they might oversleep and miss their class. He specifically ca to Tianyue Mountain to wake them up.

Qin Sisi and Xiao ng, bleary-eyed, walked out of the dormitory and exchanged a resigned sigh.

The feeling of lack of sleep was truly unbearable.

After having breakfast in the cafeteria, their spirits improved slightly, and the three of them headed to Tianfeng Mountain together.

Qin Sisi knew that her Wind Attribute had not yet been activated, so she surmised that Teacher Di Sa would still send her and Wen Xuan down the small path to Wind Valley to search for Hollow Spirit Spin.

With the Wings of Rainbow, their speed could be fast and they would be able to detect the presence of the Hollow Spirit Spin, surely making this ti much smoother than last ti. However, it was uncertain whether the glow of the Wings of Rainbow would still attract a large flock of Wind Spirit Eagles.

Students arrived at Tianfeng Mountain one after another, and Teacher Di Sa soon appeared.

As Qin Sisi expected, the students who had activated their Wind Attribute entered Wind Valley from the main path to capture Wind Spirit Eagles. The task for the last class was to capture one, and this class, too, had increased tenfold to ten.

The only ones who had not activated their Wind Attribute were Qin Sisi and Wen Xuan. Teacher Di Sa instructed them to take the side path slowly, continue searching for Hollow Spirit Spin, and absorb the Wind Spirit Power inside to prepare for activating their Wind Attribute.

Even though she knew that the rainbow light might attract Wind Spirit Eagles, Qin Sisi still summoned the Wings of Rainbow. Without them, they would really struggle to make any progress, let alone search for Hollow Spirit Spin.

With the experience from last ti, this hunt for Hollow Spirit Spin was much smoother. Last ti, the two of them found three total; with the Wings of Rainbow, Qin Sisi absorbed three-quarters of the Wind Spirit Power, leaving Wen Xuan with only a quarter.

Therefore, Qin Sisi deliberately left an entire Hollow Spirit Spin for Wen Xuan alone. Currently, both had absorbed one and a half Hollow Spirit Spins.

Li Er once told them that to activate the Wind Attribute, one needed at least five Hollow Spirit Spins. Their task was still quite daunting.

Under the guidance of the Wings of Rainbow, Qin Sisi and Wen Xuan had successively found six Hollow Spirit Spins. The two distributed them evenly; each absorbed the Wind Spirit Power from three Hollow Spirit Spins, which, added to the one and a half from the last class, made it four and a half each.

Moreover, they felt lucky, for during the search for the Hollow Spirit Spins, they hadn’t encountered a single Wind Spirit Eagle.

In fact, descending from the small path next to Wind Valley led them to the outskirts of the area where Wind Valley was located. Wind Spirit Eagles liked to fly in open spaces, so they rarely ventured to the edge of the area.

Another important reason was that last ti, Qin Sisi’s Wings of Rainbow had attracted a huge number of Wind Spirit Eagles. In order to escape, she, along with Wen Xuan and Li Li, had fought fiercely.

During that encounter, they had killed more than half of the Wind Spirit Eagles in this area, so the chances of encountering them this ti were greatly reduced.

With only half a Hollow Spirit Spin needed to activate the minimum limit of Wind Attribute, Qin Sisi and Wen Xuan both wanted to continue searching. However, by then, it was getting dark, the Wind Spirit Eagles would beco more active at night, and it was uncertain whether they would encounter them.

Moreover, the light from the Wings of Rainbow was even more brilliant and dazzling at night. Rembering the perilous fighting from last ti, for safety’s sake, Qin Sisi and Wen Xuan decided to end their search and quickly leave Wind Valley.

Having returned to the safe zone of Tianfeng Mountain, Qin Sisi was surprised to find that none of the classmates who had gone to capture Wind Spirit Eagles had co back.

Teacher Disa paced back and forth at the edge of Wind Valley, clearly very anxious.

Qin Sisi stepped forward and asked, "Teacher Disa, what’s wrong?"

Teacher Disa sighed and replied, "It was a lack of consideration on my part. Last ti, you guys killed so many Wind Spirit Eagles. This ti, the difficulty for each to capture ten Wind Spirit Eagles has definitely increased. I suspect they might not be able to find that many, which is why they haven’t returned yet."

Only then did Qin Sisi realize the impact their previous slaughter had on Wind Valley, and she too began to worry for everyone.

However, soon after, the classmates began returning one after another. Teacher Disa had instructed them before entering Wind Valley that, regardless of whether the task was completed, they must return before dark; thus, even though so hadn’t completed their tasks, they all returned.

Except for Qing Pu, who had captured ten Wind Spirit Eagles, the others caught either nine or eight, and Chu Ming had only caught seven.

After Teacher Disa tallied the numbers, his expression suddenly changed and he asked loudly, "Has Li Li co back?"

Silence fell around them as everyone started looking from side to side, and sure enough, there was no sign of Li Li.

"Why hasn’t she co back yet?" Disa looked at the darkening skies, his mood heavy with worry.

Qin Sisi’s heart lifted with concern. Although Li Li was reserved and spoke little, she was very reliable in critical monts. Last ti in Wind Valley, it had been thanks to Li Li that they had managed to escape safely.

Seeing there were still classmates not back, the others felt uneasy about leaving and stayed at the edge of Wind Valley waiting for news.

After nearly an hour more, it had turned completely dark and stars began twinkling in the sky.

Realizing that they could not wait any longer, Disa imdiately made arrangents. "Yun Cheng, Xiao ng, go to Tianhuan Mountain and inform Teacher Yusha of our situation here, ask her to quickly find so people to help; Qing Pu, Ya Ling, co with

to search for Li Li in Wind Valley."
