Qin Sisi stood a few ters away from Ye You, watching him quietly. Her eyes seed to contain a myriad of emotions, yet she remained silent.
Ye You gazed at her intently. After a long while, he took a step forward, extend his arm, opened his palm, and in a soft voice, said, "Co."
Qin Sisi’s gaze shifted from Ye You’s eyes to his open palm. She felt as if she was under a spell and irresistibly raised her hand, placing it in Ye You’s palm.
Feeling Qin Sisi’s soft, cool skin, Ye You’s fingers imdiately tightened, holding her hand firmly.
A sudden flutter in Qin Sisi’s heart made her subconsciously want to pull her hand away. Sensing her retreat, Ye You squeezed her hand even tighter.
He then swiftly led Qin Sisi inside the house. Qin Sisi didn’t have ti to react before she was already pulled into a guest room, and the door was promptly closed by Ye You.
"You..." Qin Sisi barely started to ask when Ye You interrupted her, "Open your mouth."
"What?" Confused, Qin Sisi didn’t understand what Ye You ant.
Seizing the brief mont she hesitated, Ye You leaned forward, placed two fingers on her cheek, nudged gently, and involuntarily, she opened her mouth.
Ye You quickly flicked a small object into her mouth with his other hand. Tilting her chin, she felt sothing gliding down her throat.
"What did you make
swallow?" Qin Sisi touched her throat, baffled.
With a small grin, Ye You responded, "Sothing good."
"What kind of good thing?" Qin Sisi, curious, glared at Ye You in faked annoyance.
Without speaking, Ye You just gave a small smile, encircling Qin Sisi’s slender waist with his arms and gazing deeply into her eyes.
Qin Sisi’s face turned gradually red. She placed her arms on Ye You’s shoulders and shyly looked away.
Ye You’s embrace tightened gradually. He slowly dipped his head, took a little test, and finally kissed Qin Sisi’s enthralling lips.
Ti seed to stand still. Countless grand fireworks popped into their minds, but couldn’t see each one clearly. A soft, hazy fog veiled all perspectives. It felt dreamy and surreal.
After what felt like an eternity, Ye You gradually let go of Qin Sisi.
Leaning against Ye You, with her eyes slightly closed and breath rapid, Qin Sisi’s cheeks flushed like the dawn’s glow.
Ye You’s slender fingers traced her smooth skin, feeling as gentle as a feather, yet as loving as a sigh.
Qin Sisi opened her eyes, sneaking a peek at Ye You, then quickly lowered her head, saying in a half-shy, half-scolding tone, "You’re bullying
the second I’ve fully recovered."
Ye You chuckled softly, his voice becoming even deeper and more captivating, "From the first day I t you, I’ve wanted to treat you this way. Today, my wish is finally realized."
Qin Sisi disagreed with Ye You’s statent and spoke in a low voice, "Didn’t you already do this many tis before?"
Back in the Human World, Ye You, in the form of a small cat, would often gently kiss Qin Sisi’s lips before they slept.
Ye You’s grin widened as he said in a low voice, "Fool, it’s not the sa."
"Why isn’t it the sa?" Qin Sisi blinked, her eyes filled with curiosity.
Ye You laughed lightly, raised his hand to cradle her chin and said in an ambiguously seductive tone, "Let’s do it one more ti, and see if you can tell the difference."
Before Qin Sisi could react, Ye You kissed her again, going deeper this ti.
Qin Sisi closed her eyes, struggling to stay conscious, savoring each sensation.
It did feel different from the previous lighter kisses...
"Your Highness!" A loud voice called out from outside the door, jolting the couple from their intimate trance.
Both heads instantly pulled away from each other. Only then did Qin Sisi realize her arms were around Ye You’s neck, responding to his kisses without her realizing.
Her cheeks instantly turned red, and she quickly escaped from Ye You’s embrace. Ye You just smiled, gently stroking her loose hair before turning to open the door.
Yun Wang stood at the door, saying loudly, "Your Highness, everyone has gathered. Teacher Yusha asked
to fetch you."
Ye You nodded and said to Yun Wang, "I will be there soon. Bring soone to protect Ms. Qin and get so tea and snacks for her."
Despite Scholar City being a sanctuary, Ye You couldn’t be completely at ease. Once bitten twice shy, he decided to consider every possible scenario for her safety.
"Yes." Yun Wang accepted the order and promptly left to make the arrangents.
Ye You returned to Qin Sisi’s side, holding her hand gently he said, "Wait for
here. I’ll be back as soon as I’m done."
Qin Sisi nodded, and softly reminded him, "Be careful."
Ye You couldn’t help but smile, after all, he wasn’t going into battle so there was nothing to be cautious about.
But not wanting to disappoint Qin Sisi, Ye You reassured her by saying "Don’t worry". He then planted a kiss on her forehead before reluctantly leaving.
Shortly after Ye You’s departure, the person Yun Wang sent to protect Qin Sisi arrived.
Initially, Yun Wang had been quite confident about the safety of the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, and was going to send a casual guard from the Panhu family. However, considering Qin Sisi’s unusual importance to Ye You, he decided to be cautious and instead sent his own younger brother, Yun Cheng.
Yun Cheng had heard his brother talk about Qin Sisi. He knew although her magic powers were relatively weak, she bravely aided him in battle against the Sixth Order Demonic Beast and risked her life to save Ye You. Admiration welled in his heart, and he treated Qin Sisi with utmost respect.
After introducing himself to Qin Sisi, Yun Wang swiftly left to find Ye You, and Yun Cheng stayed outside the door watching over her.
Soone quickly delivered a teapot and so snacks for Qin Sisi. Though Qin Sisi couldn’t identify what they were, everything looked delicious.
Qin Sisi invited Yun Cheng in to share, but he declined several tis. Finally, she walked up to him and handed him a few snacks forcefully. Yun Cheng then began to eat, a bit uncomfortably.
Qin Sisi aimlessly walked around the small room. Although Ye You had prohibited her from practicing magic until she fully recovered, it left her feeling bored and restless.
Everything around her was foreign – the sights, the people, and the events. The only familiar thing was Ye You.
She knew that from now on, her fate would be tightly intertwined with Ye You’s.
But then again, maybe ever since the day they t, their fates have been intertwined!
