Chapter 68: Chapter 68 Motherly Heart_1

"Unfulfilled wish?" Mrs. Wang Luo repeated in a murmur, seeming to recollect sothing. Her expression grew even more sorrowful as crystal-clear tears stread down her pale cheeks like a brook. She lowered her head to wipe away her tears with her sleeve, but they only increased the more she wiped.

Watching Mrs. Wang Luo’s distraught figure, Qin Sisi was moved to distress, imagining how abruptly she must have faced a freak accident and probably had a lot of unfinished business.

Qin Sisi knew she couldn’t always play the saint, but she hoped each gain in Soul Power could be a win-win situation.

So, she said to Mrs. Wang Luo, "I need Soul Power now. If you’re willing to offer yours to , I can help you fulfill your unfulfilled wish, but you must wait for a hundred years before you can reincarnate." She believed that Ye You would be willing to give her a Spirit Gathering Pill for such a ghost.

Mrs. Wang Luo seed startled but quickly cald down. After a long silence, she said, "I’ve already waited over a thousand years. What’s another hundred? However, I’m afraid my wish... is impossible to fulfill now."

Qin Sisi was taken aback, and after exchanging glances with Ye You, she said, "Why don’t you tell us first?"

Mrs. Wang Luo wiped her tears again, then opened her cherry lips to slowly say, "I was from an average family. We may not have been wealthy, but we had enough to get by, and my husband treated

well. We even had a son nad Dong Dong. The year I passed away, Dong Dong was only six years old. Losing his mother at such a tender age...I have no idea how he fared afterward. I’d be willing to accept eternal oblivion, even if I could just see my husband and son one more ti."

Qin Sisi fell silent. Mrs. Wang Luo’s wish was very reasonable, but a thousand years had elapsed since then, with ti racing by and the world utterly changed. The people she yearned for and rembered had long been buried in the dustbin of history, their whereabouts unknown.

In the end, Qin Sisi could only turn to Ye You for the decision, yet she doubted, even if Ye You’s magic power was mighty, it surely couldn’t turn back ti, could it?

Ye You pondered for a while before whispering several words into Qin Sisi’s ear.

Understanding Ye You’s aning, Qin Sisi turned to Mrs. Wang Luo and said, "Indeed, I can’t make you see them as they were back then. However, their souls have been reincarnating, and if you will, I can let you see them as they are now."

Mrs. Wang Luo’s eyes lit up briefly before she hesitated and finally said, "Alright, I agree." She was torn between her lingering affection for her late husband and son and her wish to reciprocate Qin Sisi’s kindness.

Qin Sisi felt relieved that both parties could reach an agreent swiftly. Taking out her pen and paper, she said, "Please tell

your husband and son’s birthdates, so I can start finding them."

Mrs. Wang Luo recited two dates in response. Qin Sisi wrote them clearly on the paper, then gently told her, "Now, I’ll store you away for the ti being. Once I find out about them, I’ll take you to see them."

Mrs. Wang Luo nodded in agreent.

Then Qin Sisi looked at Ye You, who waved his claw gently, collecting Mrs. Wang Luo’s spirit into the Portable Space, while also undoing the barrier they had initially set up.

By the ti they’d finished, the sky was slightly lighter. Seeing that everything in the room had returned to normal, Qin Sisi felt relieved. She was about to say sothing to Ye You when her phone rang.

Picking it up, she found it was Boss Zheng.

She answered the call, sowhat puzzled, and said, "Hello."

On hearing Qin Sisi’s voice, Boss Zheng asked anxiously from the other end, "Ms. Qin, are you alright?"

Qin Sisi felt ward by his concern and answered, "Boss Zheng, I’m fine, thank you." It was rare for soone they’d rely crossed paths like Boss Zheng to show such concern.

Boss Zheng heaved a sigh of relief, continuing, "That’s good. Be careful these few days. If you feel sothing’s up, think about trying to sell that porcelain piece."

Qin Sisi gave a slight smile, lowered her eyes in thought, and then asked, "Boss Zheng, are you in the shop today?"

"Yes," Boss Zheng affird.

Qin Sisi said, "I’ll co by in a bit." Now that the malicious spirit in the Blue and White Porcelain had been vanquished, the porcelain piece should be a genuine antique.

"Okay, I’ll be waiting in the shop for you."

After agreeing on a rough ti, they said their goodbyes.

Qin Sisi put down her phone to look at Ye You, only to find that the previously imposing Ye You had now collapsed weakly on the floor, his eyes closed.

Qin Sisi felt a jolt in her heart and rushed to hold Ye You in her arms, calling out softly and anxiously, "Xiao Hei, what’s wrong?"

Ye You forced his eyes open; it seed he was exhausted. His usually bright, dazzling purple eyes were sowhat dim. He said weakly, "Sisi, I need to rest for a few days."

Feeling a lump in her throat, Qin Sisi tightened her hold on Ye You and whispered, "Okay, I’ll stay with you."

Ye You shook his head. "There’s no need. Weren’t you going to Ju Ya Zhai? Go ahead, and rember to buy so yellow paper on your way."

With that, Ye You lifted a claw, and a sheet of white paper automatically flew into his hand. He blew a breath onto the paper, and the paper instantly transford into tiny silver flakes falling lightly around them.

He continued, "Put these silver flakes inside the yellow paper and burn it in the northwestern corner of the room just like last ti. Lan Di will appear. Ask him to find out about Mrs. Wang Luo’s husband and son."

Qin Sisi nodded. "Okay, I’ve got it."

Hearing the choked emotion in Qin Sisi’s voice, a look of empathy crossed Ye You’s eyes. His paw gently stroked her face as he softly said, "Good girl, don’t cry. I’ll be alright after a few days of rest. Wait for ."

Qin Sisi was too choked up to speak, only nodding continuously. Tears welled up in her eyes. With a sigh, Ye You finally closed his eyes and slipped into a deep sleep.

The fight last night had taken a massive toll on Ye You’s spiritual power. Because the curse had confined him to a cat’s body, his magic power was limited, and his spiritual power recovered very slowly. He could only recuperate gradually with ti.

Qin Sisi held Ye You for a long while until dawn fully broke. Only then did she reluctantly place Ye You on the bed. She had a quick breakfast, put the Blue and White Porcelain into her backpack, and departed for the antique market.

Upon arriving at Ju Ya Zhai, Boss Zheng was indeed waiting for Qin Sisi in his store, as promised. They greeted each other and seated themselves on carved redwood chairs in the middle of the shop.

From the mont Qin Sisi walked in, Boss Zheng had been observing her complexion. Although she did seem a little tired, her eyes were clear, her thinking normal, and she spoke lucidly. But the more normal she seed, the more puzzled Boss Zheng beca.

Finally, Qin Sisi decided to lay her cards on the table and said, "Boss Zheng, you don’t need to guess anymore. Last night, the malicious spirit in this porcelain piece was destroyed."
