Chapter 660: Chapter 660 Weird Human Skeleton_1

The next day, the two of them stayed ho, resting throughout the day. Ye You’s body had essentially recovered, though only to the condition it was in a few days prior.

However, when Ye You took a quiet mont to examine his Magic Source, he discovered so additional tiny cracks on it.

He helplessly shook his head, feeling deeply dejected.

He had originally thought that with the small size of the baby, he could create a magic protection shield. However, he had still overdrawn his magical power, thus deepening the damage to his Magic Source. The tiny cracks might have only increased slightly, but they had the potential to cause large-scale shattering.

In the future, he must be more cautious and reduce the intensity of using his magical power; otherwise, the consequences could be severe.

He deliberated on this for a long ti before deciding not to tell Qin Sisi for the mont.

As night fell, Qin Sisi packed up and, together with Ye You, leapt out of the balcony window into the vast night, spreading her Wings of Rainbow and flying towards the outskirts.

According to the information brought back by the yellow cat, there was a ghost spotted in an industrial warehouse on the outskirts. They had already planned to go there, but the baby had delayed them.

Qin Sisi prayed silently in her heart, hoping that the ghost had not left or been chased away by other Mages.

Based on the address given by the yellow cat, Qin Sisi and Ye You arrived at a moderately sized warehouse. Upon arriving at the warehouse door, Qin Sisi slled a pungent odor.

There was a "danger" warning sign attached to the large iron door of the warehouse.

Could it be storing so dangerous industrial products?

Qin Sisi knitted her brows and turned to Ye You, instructing him, "Be careful, the things inside might be dangerous."

With a solemn expression, Ye You nodded. He had also slled the pungent odor. Furthermore, he could distinctly sense a faint chilly aura.

The yellow cat’s information was accurate; there was indeed a ghost here.

Ye You blinked, and a beam of purple light shot from his eyes towards the big iron lock securing the warehouse’s entrance. With a click, the lock fell to the ground.

Qin Sisi was slightly surprised. While she knew Ye You could use magic to unlock the door, she thought that if this place truly stored dangerous industrial goods, shouldn’t the security asures be more stringent?

Setting her doubts aside, she quickly composed herself. Gently, she pushed open the warehouse’s iron door. The sound of tal scraping was excruciating, causing Qin Sisi to frown slightly.

Qin Sisi didn’t retract her Wings of Rainbow, intending to use the its luminescence to see the surrounding area more clearly.

Under the illumination of the Wings of Rainbow, Qin Sisi saw that the vast warehouse was filled with large plastic barrels.

She walked closer to inspect the barrels. She found that not only were the lids tightly screwed on, they were also sealed with a wax-like substance. It seed that dangerous goods were indeed stored inside.

Despite the barrels being sealed, Qin Sisi could still sll a very pungent acidic odor.

She suddenly realized that these barrels could be filled with a strong acid.

Acids are corrosive and indeed classified as dangerous materials.

But where was the ghost they were looking for?

Qin Sisi stood up and looked around. Ye You closed his eyes, sensing for a mont before pointing in a direction and saying in a deep voice, "Over there."

Qin Sisi nodded and slowly walked towards the direction that Ye You pointed.

In the most secluded corner of the warehouse, Qin Sisi finally spotted a faint silhouette.

It was already sumr, but the figure was wearing a long-sleeved trench coat. Its hair was long but disheveled, giving it a haphazard look. From its appearance, it was clearly a man. A chilling aura emanated from him. Clearly, he was the ghost that they were looking for.

Sheltered under the Invisible Bubble, Qin Sisi slowly approached the figure. She saw him standing there, his right hand index finger constantly moving in the air.

After watching for a while, Qin Sisi turned to Ye You and asked quietly, "What do you think he’s doing?"

Ye You answered hesitantly, "It seems like he’s drawing."

Drawing?

Qin Sisi looked again at the figure. After careful observation, she saw that it did resemble soone drawing. A thought flashed across her mind. If this ghost had recently died, his soul wouldn’t yet be able to touch physical objects. If he wanted to draw, he could indeed only move his finger in the air.

After contemplating for a mont, she turned her gaze around the warehouse. Sothing resembling a human skeleton ca unexpectedly into view, causing her to draw in a quick, sharp breath.

Qin Sisi slowly walked over, squinting at the odd human skeleton. The entire skeleton was quite complete, save for so missing bones in the hands and feet.

What was most unusual was the skeletal color. It wasn’t uniformly white, but showed a gradient of colors.

To be precise, it could be divided into three sections: the part close to the ground was black, the middle part grey, while the top section, furthest from the ground, remained white.

Scattered around and on top of the skeleton were many small black pieces of paper.

Qin Sisi turned again to look at the figure, who was still drawing in the air. She started to speculate. Could this skeleton be the remains of the ghost? And what about these black paper shards?

Unable to imdiately resolve these questions, she decided not to keep guessing. She retracted her Wings of Rainbow and gave Ye You a slight nod.

Picking up on her signal, Ye You withdrew the Invisibility Bubble and conjured a small purple fla in his paw.

Qin Sisi slowly approached the figure from behind. Because she had no idea about the temperant of the ghost, she politely greeted him, "Hi, hello."

The figure, who was drawing with his fingers, froze. It took a long mont before he slowly turned around.

The sight of his face took Qin Sisi’s breath away for a fraction of a second.

His face was pitch black and pitted, his features completely indistinguishable. His whole face was just a slab of blackness, with a small twisted hole at the bottom, presumably his mouth.

Though Qin Sisi had seen many horrifying ghosts before, so even scarier than the ghost in front of her, having a completely normal silhouette suddenly replaced by such a terrifying face was sowhat psychologically unsettling for her.

"Who?" the ghost asked, sounding alard.

Qin Sisi composed herself, about to reply, when the ghost spoke again, "Since you can see , are you also a ghost?"

Qin Sisi shook her head, only realizing after she was done that the ghost couldn’t see her. Therefore, she replied, "I’m not a ghost. I’m a Mage. I ca here specifically to find you."

Although the ghost’s face didn’t show any expressions, Qin Sisi could feel he was startled.

The ghost staggered, retreating a few steps. He asked tremulously, "You... are you here to capture ?"
