Chapter 648: Chapter 648: Forgotten_1
The next morning, Qin Sisi intentionally called Ding Jiawang to inquire about Ding Jiayuan’s situation.
Ding Jiawang spoke in a hushed voice over the phone, "Master Qin, Jia Yuan is physically well, but she’s emotionally unstable, always crying. Our whole family is at a loss."
Qin Sisi sighed, "Didn’t you ask her what exactly happened last night?"
Ding Jiawang replied, "We did. She said that after Wu nglei left, she felt extrely devastated. Wanting a quiet place to cry, she went to the sixth floor of Manten Plaza, and fearing detection in the regularly used restrooms, entered the last vacant one."
Crying herself to sleep, she dreamt of a woman, whose face she couldn’t clearly rember, promising to help her win Wu nglei’s heart if she allowed the woman to enter her body."
Fixated on Wu nglei, Jia Yuan hazily agreed. When she woke up, she could hear the woman instructing her to book a hotel room near Wu nglei’s house and threaten him with suicide.
Initially, she thought the woman was genuinely helping her. To her shock, upon Wu nglei’s arrival, the woman tried to kill him using her body."
Desperately, she resisted, not allowing her body to obey the woman’s commands. She said she would have given up if we had arrived any later, and the woman would have killed Wu nglei. She’s now feeling remorseful for causing this trouble for Wu nglei."
After hearing all this from Ding Jiawang, Qin Sisi finally understood the entire sequence of events.
The ghost probably stayed in the female restroom on the sixth floor of Manten Plaza, and Jia Yuan, having fallen asleep there, had given the ghost an exploitable opportunity."
Fortunately, the spiritual power of the ghost was not strong enough to fully control Jia Yuan’s body, otherwise the situation would have been uncontrollable.
Ding Jiawang sighed deeply, pleading,"Master Qin, is there anything you can think of to help? Jia Yuan obsesses over Wu nglei, she isn’t eating or drinking. How can she continue in this way? She’s just sixteen, her life has just begun."
Qin Sisi pondered, "Maybe it will get better after so ti."
At an age of tens, it’s unlikely that the feelings will be unforgettable, right?
Shaking his head, Ding Jiawang said, "No, you don’t understand Jia Yuan. She appears lively but is actually quite stubborn. Once she sets her mind on sothing, she won’t turn back even if she hits a wall."
Qin Sisi paused, "Is that so?"
Ding Jiawang pleaded again, "Master Qin, I beg you, please help
figure out a way to make Jia Yuan forget Wu nglei. Your success at this task would be greatly compensated."
For Qin Sisi, if nothing unexpected happens, she is set to leave with Ye You for the Demon’s Sacred Realm in less than two months. Therefore, she isn’t particularly interested in the compensation.
However, recalling Jia Yuan’s once radiant smile, and imagining her currently tearful state, Qin Sisi felt a pang of sympathy.
Moreover, Jia Yuan has helped her before; the clue about the ghost of the music teacher in the first middle school ca from her.
What’s more, she had borrowed ten thousand yuan from Ding Jiawang not long ago. Although he said it was not necessary to repay, she couldn’t help but consider it a favor.
With these thoughts, Qin Sisi, holding the phone, said, "Let
think about it carefully, I will get back to you later."
With a grateful "thank you," Ding Jiawang hung up.
Holding Ye You in her arms, Qin Sisi sat on the sofa and said, "I rember you once said that if I do not want to help you collect spirits, you would use magic to erase my mory of this period and leave forever, right?"
"Yes," Ye You replied in a low voice, guessing what Qin Sisi was about to say.
"So, do you have a way to make Ding Jiayuan forget Wu nglei? Can you completely delete all mories related to Wu nglei from her brain?" Qin Sisi stared at Ye You, her face serious.
From her gaze, Ye You could tell she attached great importance to this matter and readily nodded, "I can."
Qin Sisi smiled, a genuine smile from her heart.
She lifted Ye You, rubbed her cheek against his head, and said softly, "Thank you."
Taking the opportunity, Ye You planted a kiss on her cheek and replied in a similarly gentle voice, "You’re welco."
The two shared a smile, like a refreshing spring rain giving birth to blossoming flowers.
Afterwards, Qin Sisi called Ding Jiawang to arrange a visit to Ding’s Mansion in the afternoon to et Ding Jiayuan in person and attempt to make her forget Wu nglei.
Since the task hadn’t begun yet, Qin Sisi was careful not to promise too much.
Ding Jiawang insisted on picking Qin Sisi up personally. Despite her rejections, she ended up complying.
After lunch and so rest, Ding Jiawang arrived on ti. Qin Sisi, carrying Ye You, went downstairs and rode in Ding Jiawang’s car directly to Ding’s Mansion.
Mr. Ding and Mrs. Ding were very courteous upon Qin Sisi’s arrival, but their brows reflected fatigue and concern. Evidently, Ding Jiayuan’s situation had been preying their minds.
Understanding the parents’ affection for their daughter, Qin Sisi took the initiative to visit Ding Jiayuan.
The three mbers of the Ding family naturally welcod the offer. They continuously pleaded for Qin Sisi’s help on the way to Ding Jiayuan’s room, promising her a generous reward.
Qin Sisi responded indifferently to their pleas, clinging tightly instead to Ye You in her arms.
When they saw Ding Jiayuan, the young girl was indeed hiding under the bed covers, her eyes swollen from crying, the youthful glow on her face gone.
Mrs. Ding stood outside the door, also wiping away her own tears.
Qin Sisi tried to comfort Ding Jiayuan at first. Choking on her sobs, Ding Jiayuan responded, "Sister Master, I just love Brother nglei, I can’t forget him, I really can’t..."
Qin Sisi looked at Ding Jiayuan’s weeping figure, she sighed inwardly. It seed she had to resort to a special thod to help her get over Wu nglei.
Qin Sisi asked the three others to leave the room and set Ye You on the floor, softly comforting Ding Jiayuan.
Then, Ye You, standing behind Ding Jiayuan, sent a beam of blue light towards her. Ding Jiayuan instantly fainted onto the bed.
Imdiately, Ye You jumped onto the head of the bed. His paw resting on Dind Jiayuan’s forehead, a pale purple light enveloped her head.
About a quarter of an hour later, Ye You withdrew his paw, turned towards Qin Sisi, nodded, and jumped back into her arms.
Ding Jiayuan was still deep asleep. The room was quite chilly because of the high air conditioning setting. Qin Sisi pulled the quilt over Ding Jiayuan, and holding Ye You, left the room.
When Ding Jiayuan wakes up, she should be able to return to her forr cheerful self.
