Chapter 636: Chapter 636: There is Another One_1
An Ran had once heard from a classmate who was studying dicine that anesthesia was a very dangerous substance. The dosage had to be controlled accurately. Too little, and it would not serve its purpose. Too much, and it could damage the central nervous system or even cause death.
A too grueso and cruel cri scene would attract intense police investigation. An Ran had no intention of creating such a scene. She preferred sothing more silent and elusive.
She wanted the deaths of Qian Wu and Mao Xiaolu to have a hint of mystery. The case was unlikely to be solved anyway, and a sense of mystery would make it all the more morable.
The drug room had clearly marked instructions for so important dications for the convenience of staff. Coincidentally, these instructions provided great convenience to An Ran at this mont.
The on-duty staff in the pharmacy was already asleep. An Ran stealthily took a bottle of anesthesia and quickly returned to Qian Wu’s office.
At this ti, Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu had had enough of their intimate monts and were preparing to get dressed. She had to go on night shift, especially after being strictly warned earlier, she had to be extra cautious.
Suddenly, a pair of hands appeared surprisingly in front of her eyes. Only two hands, no body, each one carrying a towel.
Mao Xiaolu’s first reaction was to scream, but before she could voice it out, one of the hands placed a towel over her nose. An unpleasant sll filled her nostrils. Her consciousness gradually blurred and she fell softly onto the bed.
Qian Wu noticed nothing unusual. He had just exhausted his physical strength with Mao Xiaolu. At the mont, he was recharging with his eyes closed, feeling sleep sneaking up on him.
Feeling Mao Xiaolu falling into his arms again, Qian Wu asked in a muffled voice, "Why are you lying down again? Can’t bear to leave?"
As he spoke, one hand reached out to caress Mao Xiaolu’s chest.
Simultaneously, the pair of eerie hands in the air, along with the towel, were covering Qian Wu’s mouth and nose. Being a man, Qian Wu was stronger than Mao Xiaolu, so An Ran utilized both her hands.
Qian Wu realized sothing was wrong and started to struggle.
The strength of a man was much greater than a woman’s. It didn’t take much ti for Qian Wu to break free, discarding the foul-slling towel on the floor. However, the sight of those disembodied hands still made his face pale with fright.
Moreover, he had already inhaled so of the anesthetic from the towel. A few minutes later, Qian Wu also lost consciousness and fell on the bed next to Mao Xiaolu.
An Ran let out a cold laugh, took out the remaining anesthesia, and poured it into the mouths and noses of Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu.
The high concentration anesthetic that had not been diluted entered their bodies in large amounts. Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu quickly went into shock. It appeared they wouldn’t survive much longer.
An Ran stepped back to Qin Sisi’s side and asked, "I want them to realize their death. Can I et their souls?"
After so thought, Qin Sisi agreed to An Ran’s request.
It wasn’t a big deal. Since An Ran still had so desires in her afterlife, Qin Sisi was certain that An Ran would definitely give her Soul Power. It didn’t hurt to wait a little longer, especially since she also wanted to attempt to subdue the ghosts of Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu.
Two hours later, the physical bodies of Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu were dead. Two hazy souls slowly separated from their bodies, looking around in a bewildered manner.
Suddenly, a nearly crazed and chilling laughter sounded not far away.
The ghosts of Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu were startled and turned their heads, only to see a blood-drenched and fierce-looking ghost laughing loudly at them.
"Ah!" Mao Xiaolu was shocked and quickly retreated behind Qian Wu, stuttering, "You... Why are you here?"
Qian Wu was confused and asked Mao Xiaolu, "What’s wrong? Who is she?"
Mao Xiaolu replied with a tearful voice, "She is An Ran, the one who died."
"Ah?" Qian Wu was equally shocked, "Isn’t she already dead?"
An Ran spoke calmly, "Indeed, I am dead. You can see
now because you are already dead too."
An Ran laid particular emphasis on the last two words.
Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu were both taken aback. Dead? They were already dead?
The two of them looked at each other and their eyes gradually moved downward, finally landing on their unmoving bodies lying on the bed.
Indeed, they were already dead.
Mao Xiaolu and Qian Wu turned pale, all life seed to have drained out from their faces. They were just... dead?
There was no warning, no preparation. It was just too hard to accept.
An Ran continued with a cold smile, "You conscienceless people, you used expired silicone on
and cost
my life. Now that I have taken yours, you could say you died deservedly."
Qian Wu was trembling with rage. He was just turned forty, his career was prospering, and his future was blooming. To suddenly die in such a baffling manner was infuriating.
"You killed us!" Qian Wu roared and pounced at An Ran.
No matter how angry or triumphant An Ran felt inside, seeing Qian Wu rushing at her furiously, she quickly retreated.
Now, they were all ghosts. If they were to fight, it would be similar to two regular people having a physical fight. An Ran was definitely no match for Qian Wu, so she wisely retreated to seek protection from Qin Sisi.
Just when Qian Wu’s hand was about to touch An Ran, a fireball shot quickly towards him. Qian Wu dodged it hastily in fright.
The fireball burnt a large hole in Qian Wu’s office desk when it landed.
Qian Wu trembled slightly with fear and then shifted his eyes to Qin Sisi, who has been standing silently on the side.
Although this young girl who still seed a little immature did not appear to be a ghost, why was she here?
"Who are you?" Qian Wu gathered his courage to question Qin Sisi.
Qin Sisi did not pay him any heed. She turned to An Ran and said, "You’ve avenged your death. Can you give
your Soul Power now?"
An Ran hesitated for a bit and replied, "No, there’s still one more."
"Another one?" Qin Sisi didn’t quite understood what An Ran ant.
An Ran nodded and responded, "The nurse too. She noticed my allergies but failed to fulfill her duty to inform . She is guilty too, she must also be punished."
Qin Sisi frowned. An Ran had a point, but was it really necessary to harm so many people?
She attempted to dissuade An Ran, "You’ve already killed two people. Killing too much won’t be good for you either. The nurse’s wrongdoing doesn’t warrant death. Can you let her go?"
An Ran responded firmly, "I know her faults aren’t punishable by death. I won’t take her life, but she must be punished."
Qin Sisi sighed resignedly. Raising her head toward Mao Xiaolu, who was crouched in a corner, she asked, "Mao Xiaolu, where does Nurse Wang live?"
