Chapter 630: Chapter 630 Rationality and Emotion_1
After returning ho, the bumpy journey had left both Qin Sisi and Ye You feeling sowhat tired, so the two of them got into bed to rest first. After waking up, Qin Sisi got up to continue practicing her magic.
Following her battle with the old eunuch, she seed to have gained a deeper understanding of magic. It seed that indeed practice makes perfect.
She was still practicing the Water Binding Skill. Before, she could only stop the Tilting Doll for one or two seconds at best, but now she can prolong the stagnation ti to three or four seconds. Although it was only a slight improvent, Qin Sisi was still very happy.
When late night fell, Qin Sisi glanced at the ti and then looked up at Ye You.
In the split second their eyes t, Qin Sisi wore a bashful yet joyful smile while Ye You’s eyes were tender as water.
The fifteenth of May, another full moon night.
"I’ll wait for you in there." Ye You murmured, jumping down from the sofa to enter the bathroom.
Qin Sisi returned to the bedroom, took out the white dress she first wore when she saw Ye You in the mirror. Another sumr had arrived, ti passed so quickly, almost a year had gone by in the blink of an eye.
When Qin Sisi in her flowing white dress walked into the bathroom, Ye You’s gaze fell on her. His eyes noticeably brightened as he was naturally reminded of the past.
Qin Sisi glanced at Ye You shyly, walked straight to the mirror. The two white candles had already been set on the washbasin by Ye You.
She picked up the white candles, muttering a spell in her heart, lit each candle with her Fire magic and placed them on either side of the washbasin.
She then turned off the bathroom light, stood in front of the mirror, glanced at the black cat in the mirror, and then closed her eyes. Her hands were crossed in front of her as she began counting softly, "One, two, three, four, five..."
Finally when she counted to thirteen, Qin Sisi took a deep breath and slowly opened her eyes.
In the dimly lit mirror, Ye You, clad in black, stood silently. His clear, dazzling violet pupils were even brighter than the diamonds on his collar.
Looking into his eyes, Qin Sisi sighed, "I miss you, my Black Cat Prince."
Ye You lifted his arm, his palm pressed against the mirror, his thumb moving gently side to side a few tis, as if he was caressing Qin Sisi’s hair from afar.
Qin Sisi’s gaze focused on his broad palm, the lines on his palm were clearly visible, representing so sort of fate.
Could her traces be found amid those seemingly chaotic lines?
After a mont, Qin Sisi also lifted her palm to the cold mirror, directly opposite Ye You’s palm, just as they often did before.
"Two more months." Ye You’s deep voice rang out, teeming with magnetic charm. Just a few ordinary, simple words stirred Qin Sisi’s heart.
In two more months it will be the fifteenth of July, if by then they have collected eighty-one ghosts, she could follow Ye You to the Demon Sacred Realm.
"Are you confident?" Noting Qin Sisi’s silence, Ye You took the initiative to ask.
Qin Sisi gave a small smile, looking at Ye You, "What about you?"
A warm smile spread across Ye You’s face as he softly replied, "I have an excellent helper like you, of course I am full of trust."
"Excellent? Are you teasing !" Qin Sisi replied feigning anger.
Ye You shook his head slightly, "No, I’m sincere."
His ambiguous words made Qin Sisi’s heart skip a beat, her heart fluttered like a leaf in the wind under his gaze, sotis falling, sotis flying.
Ye You sighed softly with a helpless expression. Qin Sisi’s adorable appearance also moved him deeply, but he just couldn’t get closer.
The two muttered softly to each other, their voices barely audible as if they were afraid of disturbing sothing.
Discussing magic, reminiscing about the past, anticipating the future...
Their hands stayed there, tightly pressed against each other through the mirror.
Such beautiful monts were always short. Unknowingly, much ti had passed.
Suddenly, Qin Sisi seed to rember sothing and hesitantly said to Ye You, "Xiao Hei, let’s stop for today, okay?"
Ye You frowned, about to ask why, but he had already guessed the answer, "You want to go to the plastic surgery hospital?"
"Yes," Qin Sisi nodded, "If she didn’t follow the ssenger of Death to the underworld, she should appear tonight as her family has been causing a scene."
Ye You looked at Qin Sisi with complex emotion. From an emotional perspective, he naturally wouldn’t want to end the eting with Qin Sisi early. He still had spiritual power left.
But from a logical standpoint, Qin Sisi’s decision was undoubtedly the right one.
Currently, their main task was gathering soul power. If they don’t collect eighty-one by two months from now, they won’t be able to return to the Demon Sacred Realm.
If they continued to waste ti, revenge would beco more difficult and even beco wishful thinking. The difficulty in lifting the curse on him would also increase.
If they couldn’t return to the Demon Sacred realm, they couldn’t avenge, and he couldn’t break the curse.
Would he accept living out his life in the mundane world bearing deep-rooted hatred, and being contented to spend his life with Qin Sisi locked in a cat’s body?
Ye You let out a long sigh saying, "Let’s go, we’ll go right now."
Once Qin Sisi got Ye You’s approval, she imdiately took action. She turned on the lights and blew out the candles.
When her eyes returned again to the mirror, Ye You’s image in the mirror had disappeared, leaving only her reflection and the small black cat.
Qin Sisi couldn’t help but feel a sense of loss. Biting her lip, she picked up the black cat from the washbasin and walked out of the bathroom.
She took off the white dress and dressed in black again. Summoning the Wings of Rainbow and under the cover of Ye You’s Invisible Bubble, they flew toward the plastic surgery hospital they passed during the day.
They paused at the hospital entrance. The doors were not as noisy as they were during the day.
Had the situation been resolved and the family departed?
Qin Sisi was doubtful, swiftly flying into the hospital. Through the large glass doors of the hospital entrance hall, yellow candlelight was flickering.
Why would people nowadays use candles? Even if there was a power outage, the hospital would have its own power generation system.
Could it be...?
A thought crossed Qin Sisi’s mind. She imdiately dismissed the Wings of Rainbow and quickly walked towards the hospital hall entrance.
As expected, in the outpatient building’s large hall, a body laid in the middle of the floor, covered with a white cloth. Two people were sitting by its side.
One was an old woman in her fifties or sixties. It was apparent that she had been crying for a long ti. Her face looked completely drained, and she was still sobbing softly.
On the other side of the body sat a man in his thirties. Though he was not crying at the mont, his eyes were red and swollen. He stared blankly at the body in front of him.
Qin Sisi sighed. These must be the family mbers of the deceased. It seed that the dayti negotiations with the hospital did not yield any results, so they resorted to this thod to seek justice from the hospital.
