Chapter 606: Chapter 606 The Love and Hate Relationship of Twins_1

Qi Jiaming just stared deeply at the bridegroom lying on the ground and Xiao Wei, who kept calling out to him, not imdiately answering Qin Sisi’s questioning.

With the help of the photographer and his assistant, Xiao Wei helped the bridegroom into the bridal shop’s car, which took them swiftly to the hospital.

Qin Sisi watched the car speed off, thought for a mont and suddenly turned to Qi Jiaming, saying, "I see it now, that person looks exactly like you."

Qi Jiaming closed his eyes almost to escape from the situation, and only slowly opened them after a heartbeat. His expression was a sorrowful and repressed as he said, "Yes, he is my twin brother."

Qin Sisi blinked then asked in a hurried manner, "Why do you share the sa na?"

Qi Jiaming shook his head then answered, "No, they’re not the sa. My na is Qi Jiaming, and his na is Qi Jialiang."

"But I clearly heard that woman call him Jiaming." The confusion started to grow in Qin Sisi as she tried to figure out what was happening.

Qi Jiaming paused for a long while, then finally said, "That’s because... he killed

and pretended to be . Everyone thinks that the deceased was Qi Jialiang, but the one who is alive is Qi Jiaming."

"What?" Qin Sisi was utterly shocked. This defied all logic.

The one who was supposedly alive was in fact dead, and the one who died was still alive.

It took a while for Qin Sisi to process the shocking revelation. After a brief exchange of looks with Ye You, she then asked Qi Jiaming, "Mr. Qi, since they probably won’t be able to take their bridal photo today, what’s your next step?"

Qi Jiaming took quite so ti before answering reluctantly, "I don’t know. Let’s go to the hospital first. I’m worried about them."

"Okay," Qin Sisi agreed. She then left the botanical garden with Ye You and Qi Jiaming and they hailed a taxi to go to the hospital.

When the driver asked Qin Sisi for the destination, she hesitated montarily before replying, "To the nearest one!"

"Alright!" The driver agreed and drove onwards.

As Qin Sisi had predicted, Xiao Wei indeed took Qi Jialiang to the nearest hospital from the botanical garden.

When Qin Sisi and the others found them, Xiao Wei had just sent the bridal shop staff off. Qin Sisi heard her apologize to the photographer and suggest that they postpone the photo session.

By now, Xiao Wei had taken off her wedding gown and was wearing a white lace top and light blue capris, looking fresh and clear-headed.

But signs of exhaustion could be seen in her eyes.

After sending off the two staff mbers, Xiao Wei returned to the sickroom. Looking at the unconscious Qi Jialiang, her face displayed a painful dismay.

She reached for Qi Jialiang’s slightly coarse hand and whispered to him, "Jiaming, I wasn’t lying to you. I really do love you. But couldn’t you notice that you have changed? You’ve changed so much..."

Xiao Wei held Qi Jialiang’s hand against her face. Tears silently stread down her face, wetting his hand and her cheek.

Qi Jiaming couldn’t stop himself from walking over. He reached out to touch Xiao Wei’s hair, his eyes slowly turning red.

"I’m sorry... I’m sorry..." Qi Jiaming murmured quietly. However, Xiao Wei couldn’t hear his apologies or feel his touch.

Ye You didn’t hit too hard. Around two hours later, Qi Jialiang woke up.

"Jiaming, you’re awake," Xiao Wei quickly rushed up to him.

Qi Jialiang’s face was grave, but upon seeing Xiao Wei’s attentive and caring eyes, his expression softened slightly.

"Jiaming, are you feeling unwell? Why did you faint all of a sudden?" Xiao Wei helped Qi Jialiang sit up then gently asked him.

"It’s nothing. I probably didn’t rest well these past few nights," Qi Jialiang responded nonchalantly.

Both engaged in a casual conversation, not ntioning the incident in the botanical garden earlier. Then Qi Jialiang insisted on leaving the hospital.

Xiao Wei tried to persuade him otherwise, but upon seeing his insistent attitude, she gave in.

Xiao Wei took care of the necessary procedures, then left the hospital with Qi Jialiang and took a taxi ho.

Qi Jiaming told Qin Sisi an address.

Qin Sisi nodded, then also hailed a taxi. She told the driver the address that Qi Jiaming had just given, and the taxi followed the route Xiao Wei and Qi Jialiang took.

When they arrived at Qi Jialiang’s apartnt, they were just about to go upstairs when they saw Xiao Wei walking out from the building. She looked up at the building complexly, sighed, and then slowly walked away.

Qi Jiaming watched Xiao Wei’s departing figure till she was out of sight.

After so ti of quiet waiting, and seeing Qi Jiaming finally retract his gaze, Qin Sisi asked him, "Have you figured out what to do next?"

Qi Jiaming nodded, replying, "Help

give my brother a dream. I want to knock so sense into him in that dream."

"Sure," Qin Sisi responded. Giving soone a dream wasn’t particularly difficult.

Night had set in, and a dejected Qi Jialiang was lying bored on his bed.

There was a book on the bedside table, but he never opened it. It was there rely for others to see.

Qi Jiaming used to read, but Qi Jialiang had stopped reading books after graduation.

After playing several rounds of gas on his phone, and feeling a strain on his eyes, Qi Jialiang simply tossed the phone aside, buried his head in the pillow and soon fell asleep.

Within his dream, a face identical to his slowly appeared, stern, kind, lancholic, and gazing at him.

"Jialiang..." His mouth moved slightly as he called out his na.

Qi Jialiang stared at his twin brother who had co from the sa egg, smirked, and said with a self-deprecating smile, "Brother, you ca again? You finally decided to talk to ."

Qi Jialiang looked defeated, decadent and indifferent.

This wasn’t the first ti Qi Jiaming had appeared in his dreams. Over the past year and more since his death, Qi Jialiang had often dreamt of him.

Only, he stood quietly, watching him and not speaking a word.

But tonight, he spoke.

"Jialiang, let Xiao Wei go. Move sowhere else and start afresh. Don’t live under my shadow anymore," Qi Jiaming’s voice was quiet but extraordinarily clear.

Each word, each layer of aning, was like a rumbling thunder pounding against Qi Jialiang’s eardrums.

Qi Jialiang, still dreaming, suddenly sat up, taking in big gulps of air and staring blankly at the darkness around him.

Let Xiao Wei go.

Start afresh.

Don’t live under my shadow anymore.

Two lines of silent tears flowed down from Qi Jialiang’s eyes, each droplet trailing past his lips and into his mouth tasted both bitter and salty.

My dear brother, do you know? From the day I killed you, I no longer had any chance of starting over.
