She gently reassured Zhong Keke, saying, "Don’t be scared. Neither of us will get hurt."
Her not responding to his threat irritated Brother Bao more. He growled, "You wench, you’ll see!"
With that, the huge figure of Brother Bao charged directly at Qin Sisi.

She was about to speak when the bedroom door made a "clack" sound. Zhong Keke’s face turned white. She gestured to Qin Sisi to be quiet and indicated that she should hide herself quickly.
Qin Sisi promptly stepped back, while Ye You raised his paw to expand the invisibility bubble, quickly concealing their figures.
Qin Sisi looked toward the bedroom door where a young man in pajamas and slippers ca out.
He was quite handso, albeit looking tired, probably just woken up. His hair was ssy, his eyes were red and swollen.
As soon as the man appeared, Zhong Keke’s gaze was helplessly glued to him. She watched him with such infatuation and sorrow.
The young man made a trip to the bathroom and then sat on the sofa. He touched a pendant that hung from his neck to his chest, his head downcast.
Unable to hold back any longer, Zhong Keke covered her mouth and began to sob.
