Chapter 516: Chapter 516: Take People’s Money to Help Them Avoid Disaster_1

After being persuaded by Wu nglei’s mother, his father’s expression flickered a few tis. Eventually, he sighed, waved a hand toward Wu nglei’s mother in agreent.

A sigh of relief escaped Wu nglei’s mother. Quickly, she guided Qin Sisi’s group into the inner room of the ward, where Wu nglei still laid quietly on the bed, breathing faintly, his eyes tightly closed, not moving at all.

First worried about Wu nglei’s coma, then going through the dangerous situation with Qin Sisi, rushing back nervously, and being questioned by Wu nglei’s parents at the end, Ding Jiayuan’s emotions were up and down.

After the emotional rollercoaster, seeing her dearly loved Brother nglei, the once bright girl couldn’t stop her eyes from reddening.

Qin Sisi walked to the front of Wu nglei, turned her head to Ye You, who nodded slightly, jumped next to Wu nglei’s pillow, and put his paw on the latter’s forehead. He released Wu nglei’s soul from his Portable Space and slowly fused it into Wu nglei’s own body.

Once Wu nglei’s soul was completely returned to his body, Ye You released a green light that enveloped Wu nglei to promote a full fusion between his soul and body.

They only had twenty minutes to spare. Sisi must not be disappointed.

As ti ticked away, Ding Jiawang and Ding Jiayuan’s expressions grew more and more tense, and the anxiety and disappointnt in Wu nglei’s mother’s eyes, who initially held so hope, beca thicker and thicker.

Finally, in the last minute, Wu nglei’s eyelashes twitched slightly.

Ding Jiayuan exclaid in surprise, "His eyes moved! Brother nglei’s eyes moved!"

Wu nglei’s mother quickly leaned forward, watching her son without blinking an eye.

Wu nglei’s father, hearing Ding Jiayuan’s shout, entered the room with an air of skepticism and stood near the door to watch.

Ye You let out a sigh of relief, withdrew his Magic, lifted his head to Qin Sisi and let out a "ow" sound: "Done."

Qin Sisi noticed Ye You’s breathless voice and couldn’t help but feel a pang in her heart, hugging him tightly into her arms.

Wu nglei’s eyelashes on the hospital bed twitched a few more tis, and finally, he slowly opened his eyes.

Wu nglei’s mother was a mixture of surprise and joy as she leaned over to look at Wu nglei and whispered, "nglei, are you awake?"

Wu nglei looked at his mother for a mont, and softly called out, "Mom." His voice was weak, but very clear.

"Ah." Wu nglei’s mother responded, tears of joy streaming down her face as she quickly wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes.

Ding Jiayuan, unable to hide her worry, ran over and asked, "Brother nglei, how are you feeling?"

"Yuan Yuan." Wu nglei called her na, but did not say anything else.

Pitying his own sister, Ding Jiawang couldn’t help but step forward and say, "nglei, it’s Yuan Yuan who invited Master Qin to heal you."

Wu nglei was surprised. His gaze swept over the faces of the people around his bed and finally landed on Qin Sisi.

He recognized everyone else, so this stranger must be the "Master Qin" Ding Jiawang had ntioned!

"Thank you." Wu nglei looked at Qin Sisi, and said "thank you" in a voice that was neither loud nor quiet.

Although he didn’t ntion who he thanked, everyone could tell from his eyes, and Qin Sisi sharply noticed that Wu nglei’s gaze was full of curious and exploratory connotations.

Considering Wu nglei’s parents’ previous questions and coldness, Qin Sisi didn’t plan to display any noble and selfless character. She said indifferently, "You’re welco, simply doing my job."

Upon hearing Qin Sisi’s words, Wu nglei’s father’s face changed. He then said, "Master Qin, Jia Wang, Jia Yuan, you guys can go and rest a bit on the couch outside. I’ll go find a doctor to check on nglei."

Both Qin Sisi and Ding Jiawang could hear the aning behind Wu nglei’s father’s words. He still didn’t fully trust them, worried that, perhaps, Wu nglei might not have recovered completely.

Only the young and naive Ding Jiayuan asked innocently, "But Brother nglei is awake, isn’t he? Does he still need a check-up?"

Wu nglei’s father’s expression turned a bit awkward.

Qin Sisi, pulling Ding Jiayuan’s hand, walked outside, saying as they moved, "Of course, your Brother nglei has been in a coma for several days, it’s proper to give him a thorough examination."

Now, if Wu nglei’s father wants an examination, then let there be an examination. Anyway, she wasn’t afraid. The most Wu nglei could have is physical weakness, but definitely no other illnesses.

Wu nglei’s father summoned the doctor. The one with the white coat, along with two nurses, rushed over. After several days with Wu nglei mysteriously falling unconscious, they had felt sowhat helpless.

After a thorough examination, the doctor looked bewildered but was glad as he said to Wu nglei’s parents, "Congratulations, the patient has essentially recovered. He’s just a bit weak and needs a few days of good rest."

Wu nglei’s parents, faces filled with joy, thanked the doctor.

After the doctor and the nurses left, Wu nglei’s mother gave her husband a look. Wu nglei’s father, sowhat awkwardly, walked up to Qin Sisi and the Ding siblings and said, "This ti, thanks to your help, nglei was able to recover. We owe you our gratitude."

Ding Jiayuan, feeling overwheld, replied, "Oh no, please don’t ntion it. We were only doing what we should."

Both Qin Sisi and Ding Jiawang gave Ding Jiayuan a helpless glance. Before any sort of formal relationship had been established, she had already lowered her posture too much. How would they respect her?

Clearing his throat, Ding Jiawang said, "Uncle, actually, we were just standing by. It’s all credited to Master Qin."

That statent was the truth. But it was also a small attempt at pleasing Qin Sisi, because she had previously stated "doing my job
