Chapter 508: Chapter 508: The Girl’s Plea_1

About ten minutes later, noticing that Qin Sisi’s complexion was no longer as pale, Ye You stopped casting the magic. He took a towel and helped wipe the sweat on Qin Sisi’s forehead.

Half an hour later, Qin Sisi woke up and the first words she said when she opened her eyes were, "Did I succeed?"

Ye You gently replied from the side, "Yes, you succeeded."

Qin Sisi turned her head to look at Ye You for a while. Then she extended her arms to tightly embrace him and softly said, "I’m so happy."

"So am I," Ye You responded quietly, bending down to plant light kisses on Qin Sisi’s pale neck.

Qin Sisi shivered slightly, instinctively pushing Ye You away. However, his body, immovable like a copper iron wall, didn’t shift an inch.

"Don’t..." The sensitive skin on her neck tingled under Ye You’s gentle kisses, making her let out a soft moan involuntarily.

Sensing Qin Sisi’s increasingly rapid breathing, Ye You stopped moving, stroked her chin and softly said, "You must be exhausted. Rest now."

Qin Sisi shyly glanced at Ye You and lowered her eyes to ask softly, "Then... when will you teach

magic of other attributes?"

Ye You was montarily speechless. It never occurred to him that magic was so important to Qin Sisi. He sighed and said, "The Magic Source still needs ti to ld with the spiritual energy of the attribute magic. Don’t rush."

Qin Sisi, slightly disappointed, pouted her mouth but didn’t say anything more. She rely nodded obediently.

She believed in Ye You and also knew deep within her heart that magic cultivation couldn’t be rushed.

As she embraced Ye You’s small and soft body, Qin Sisi fell into a deep sleep.

Perhaps activating the magic attribute had consud too much of her physical and spiritual energy. She had a particularly peaceful sleep until almost noon when she slowly opened her eyes.

The first thing she did after waking up was to imdiately sit cross-legged and carefully inspect her Magic Source.

The nebular spiral Magic Source in her dantian was slowly rotating. The central area now contained four small dots in red, green, blue, and black.

However, the red dot representing the fire attribute was rather bright, while the other three dots were rather dim, like they were shrouded in a layer of hazy white fog.

It seed that Ye You was right. These three types of spiritual energies had just entered the Magic Source and needed so ti to gradually ld together.

Qin Sisi’s initial impatience gradually settled. At this mont, Ye You also woke up. They exchanged smiles and rembering their intimacy from the previous night, Qin Sisi, feeling slightly shy, got up to cook.

After the al, they discussed and planned to call Boss Zheng in the evening to see if he could provide any clues about ghosts.

However, before night, Qin Sisi received a rather unexpected phone call from Ding Jiayuan.

In Qin Sisi’s mind, Ding Jiayuan was a naive and innocent young girl without any scheming, who once asked Qin Sisi to take her ghost hunting.

Naturally, Qin Sisi didn’t agree. But based on the clues provided by Ding Jiayuan, she successfully found a ghost and absorbed its soul power. Thus, she felt a bit of gratitude toward Ding Jiayuan.

Seeing the na ’Ding Jiayuan’ displayed on her phone screen, Qin Sisi hesitated. She wondered if the girl was about to ask her to take her ghost hunting again!

The phone rang for a while before Qin Sisi finally slid her finger to answer the call.

"Mage Sister, please help us!" As soon as the call connected, Ding Jiayuan’s tearful voice ca through the speaker.

Hearing the unusual tone, Qin Sisi hurriedly asked, "Jiayuan, what happened? Don’t panic, tell

slowly."

Crying, Ding Jiayuan said, "Brother nglei is unconscious. It’s sowhat similar to what happened to my elder brother."

Qin Sisi didn’t recall who ’Brother nglei’ was in Ding Jiayuan’s words, but she clearly rembered that Ding Jiawang’s unconsciousness last ti was due to a ghost taking away his soul. After a mont of contemplation, she asked, "Have you taken him to the hospital?"

Ding Jiayuan replied, "We’re at the hospital right now. We’ve been here for two days, but the doctors couldn’t do anything. Mage Sister, can you co and have a look? I will pay you."

Ding Jiayuan sounded so desperate. After so thought, Qin Sisi agreed to her request. She asked her which hospital they were at and then hung up.

After a brief discussion with Ye You, Qin Sisi packed a few things and walked out the door with Ye You in her arms. She hailed a taxi at the entrance of the residential complex and headed straight for the hospital ntioned by Ding Jiayuan.

Based on just a few words from Ding Jiayuan, one couldn’t really determine the actual situation. There could be diverse reasons for being unconscious, not necessarily because of soul-loss.

But given the courtesy she had received from the Ding family and the soul power she had once collected following Ding Jiayuan’s description, Qin Sisi decided to take a look.

If it was indeed soul-loss, it would be good news for her.

If not, she had rely wasted a trip, but there wouldn’t be any other losses.

Qin Sisi got out of the car at the hospital entrance and found Ding Jiayuan and Ding Jiawang waiting for her at the entrance. Upon seeing Qin Sisi, the siblings eagerly went to et her, their faces filled with anticipation.

"Mage Sister, thank you! It’s great that you could co. I believe that Brother nglei will definitely be saved now," the ordinarily lively Ding Jiayuan’s voice was sowhat hoarse, most likely a result of crying.

Ding Jiawang seed a bit calr. As he patted his sister’s shoulder, he said, "Don’t panic. Let’s first allow Mage Qin to have a look."

Ding Jiayuan hurriedly nodded and grabbed Qin Sisi’s arm, saying, "Mage Sister, let’s go. I will take you to see Brother nglei."

Without getting a chance to say anything, Qin Sisi was pulled by Ding Jiayuan and quickly walked into the hospital.

She looked at Ding Jiayuan helplessly and found her to be extrely serious, which was quite different from her usual deanor. It seed that this "Brother nglei" must be quite important!

Qin Sisi knew that Ding Jiayuan loved small animals. When she had taken Ye You to help Ding Jiawang at Ding’s house, Ding Jiayuan had been very enthusiastic toward Ye You, even wanting to keep him by her side.

But now, even though she saw Ye You in Qin Sisi’s arms, she acted as if she didn’t notice him. All she was preoccupied with was her Brother nglei.

The fact that a girl in her mid-teens had a crush wasn’t unusual.

Looking at Ding Jiayuan, Qin Sisi’s eyes softened a little, and a smile seed to be lurking in them.

Ding Jiayuan led Qin Sisi into a high-end suite near the hospital. Outside, there was a middle-aged man dressed in formal attire sitting with furrowed brows.

Inside the room was a middle-aged woman sitting by the bed, lost in thought.

As soon as Ding Jiayuan entered, she urgently said to the middle-aged man and woman, "Uncle and aunt, this is the Mage Sister I ntioned to you. She’s really powerful. She cured my elder brother."

The middle-aged man stood up and the woman inside walked out. Both of them looked at Qin Sisi dubiously. And in the man’s eyes, there was a flash of contempt.
