Chapter 503: Chapter 503: Beautiful Pirate King_1

The purple flas raged on, spreading rapidly across the walls and floors after destroying a section of them, showing an intention to burn everything in its path.

"No! My ship, my ship!" The captain cried out loud, trying to stop the spread of the fire. However, could a ghost withstand the power of the divine Ziwei Heaven Fire?

The captain rushed towards the fire but was repelled by its overwhelming power, and had to retreat.

Ye You coldly glanced at the panicked captain, jumped onto Qin Sisi’s shoulder, and whispered, "Let’s go."

Qin Sisi nodded and ran towards the cabin exit, quickly leaving the increasingly intense fire in the cabin and returning to the empty deck.

However, looking down, it seed like the deck was also changing in color. The ferocity of the Ziwei Heaven Fire was intense and was already affecting the deck from underneath. It wouldn’t be long before the Ghost Ship vanished completely.

It was not suitable to stay aboard any longer. Qin Sisi called on her Wings of Rainbow, flew above the Ghost Ship, and watched the mysterious ship being claid by the purple flas. Every single item on the ship would eventually disappear into the vast night, leaving no trace behind.

Qin Sisi was sowhat worried. Would the captain be so attached to this ship that he would rather perish than leave it?

If that were the case, this entire mission would have been for nothing more than gaining a bit of experience.

However, just like humans, ghosts too fear death. When the Ghost Ship was completely consud by the purple fire, the captain’s beheaded ghostly figure finally drifted off of the ship.

He rose a distance upwards, avoiding the engulfing Ziwei Heaven Fire. Then he turned back to gaze at his ship, his eyes reddened sowhat.

To the captain, the ship had been his companion for many years, like a trustworthy old friend.

Now, his old friend was gone, and so were his brothers who used to be on the ship. After drifting for so many years, he was the only one left.

Finally, the luminescent Ghost Ship disappeared completely, never to be seen again.

The purple flas, having fulfilled their purpose, gradually extinguished.

The vast sea returned to its calmness, the waves under the night sky still rolled fiercely, the sea t the sky at the far end of the horizon, and everything seed normal, as if nothing had happened.

The captain turned to look at Qin Sisi, his face not showing anger, but pain and despair.

He roared hoarsely, "Are you satisfied now? Was this your purpose?"

Qin Sisi calmly shook her head and replied, "This was not my purpose, my purpose is Soul Power."

"Soul Power?" The Captain looked at Qin Sisi in disbelief, "You want MY Soul Power?"

Qin Sisi sighed, "I’m not particularly inclined to take your Soul Power. If you had handed over those five beheaded ghosts, I certainly would’ve been pleased.

Alternatively, if you had not devoured the remaining two ghosts and handed them over to

instead, I would have taken them and left.

But now, you are all that’s left."

The captain stared blankly at Qin Sisi. He now regretted a little. Maybe if he had communicated with Qin Sisi a bit earlier, the outco might be different.

But on second thought, how could he have had the patience to calmly communicate with her before knowing her abilities?

All of this... is fate!

Having lost his beloved Ghost Ship, the captain was for a mont feeling disheartened. He didn’t have the mood to continue fighting and could only mutter, "You destroyed my ship, I will never give you my Soul Power. Give it up!"

Of course, Qin Sisi wouldn’t give up for this reason. She still had a bait to cast.

She softened her tone and said to the Captain, "Captain, you have been drifting on the vast sea for so many years with the Ghost Ship, rather than being reborn. There must be many things troubling you! I can help you fulfill those unfinished wishes, whether they are from your past life or for your future one."

The captain’s expression changed a few tis before he asked in disbelief, "Can you really help

fulfill my wish?"

Qin Sisi smiled lightly, "Captain, you are not the first ghost I found. I have helped many ghosts fulfill their wishes. This is our contract. If I fail to fulfill the wishes of any ghost that has offered their Soul Power, I will be punished."

This was sothing Qin Sisi learned later.

The punished one would, however, not be her, but Ye You.

The promised contract was a double-edged sword. If a ghost broke its agreent, Ye You could eliminate them. But if the ghost provided its Soul Power as agreed, Ye You was obligated to fulfill his promise in helping them to realize their wishes.

Otherwise, even if they weren’t punished imdiately, there would be various difficulties encountered along the way during the long process of Magic Practice.

Upon hearing Qin Sisi’s solemn words, the Captain’s doubts lessened. He pondered, then said in a deep voice, "If you can really help

fulfill my wish..."

Hearing the captain loosen up, Qin Sisi hurriedly interjected, "you can tell

about it first."

The captain was silent for a mont, then waved his arm and a phantom figure appeared beside him.

The captain glared at this figure resentfully and said in a stifled voice, "My wish is to kill her in revenge for myself, and for my brothers."

Qin Sisi glanced aningfully at the captain. It seed that her guess was right. The captain and his crew had all been murdered by soone.

She turned to look at the phantom figure that the captain had manifested using his spiritual power. Surprisingly, she saw a charming beauty.

The beauty seed to be in her early thirties, with a slightly round face, firmly pressed lips, fierce eyes, and long black hair coiled into a high bun on the top of her head, adorned with an intricately crafted hairpin.

She wore a dark green dress, its edges bordered with gold thread, layered with a long black and gold coat that exhibited an air of authority while retaining elegance and charm.

After watching for a while, Qin Sisi couldn’t shake the feeling of familiarity. She asked the captain, "Who is she?"

The captain responded resentfully, "Her na is Shi Fanggu, the most formidable pirate leader of that ti."

A lightbulb went off in Qin Sisi’s mind, and she couldn’t help but ask, "I rember now."

She had once read a novel where the protagonist was a beautiful female pirate. The book had her portrait which was extrely similar to the phantom figure in front of her.

Qin Sisi looked at the captain and asked again, "Is she also known as Mrs. Qing?"

The captain nodded, "Yes, the foreign devils all call her Mrs. Qing."

Mrs. Qing, originating from a lady in the Qing Dynasty, was an easier moniker for foreigners to rember.

Her real na, as the captain said, was Shi Fanggu.
