Chapter 485: Chapter 485: The Ghost Weeping Blood _1
The driver, trembling, pointed at Qin Sisi and tried to speak but was at a loss for words. His face was paler than ever.
The other three n had no idea what was going on. They assud that Qin Sisi had so hidden weapon and had hurt their colleague. They imdiately rushed to surround Qin Sisi.
Frowning slightly with a hint of contemplation, Sisi said, "Don’t touch my cat, or I’ll kill myself."
She recalled the skinny man ntioning that she could fetch a good price earlier. That ans they intended to sell her. Therefore, they definitely didn’t want her dead.
A cat?
The n exchanged puzzled glances before realization dawned upon them.
So it was the cat who had injured the driver. What a fool!
As long as Qin Sisi posed no lethal threat, they had nothing to worry about. Each person was a gold mine. One was already dead, they can’t afford another one!
Noticing the n’s expressions loosening slightly, Sisi quickly added, "As long as you let my cat stay with , I’ll do as you say."
The n exchanged glances once more. Although none of them spoke, they all seed to agree silently.
A cat in exchange for a submissive woman? A profitable deal indeed.
Consequently, the skinny man dragged the driver, who was still grimacing in pain, outside.
Ye You watched the driver’s retreating figure with cold indifference. Earlier, he sprinkled so powder on his claws. The driver’s hand was unquestionably crippled now.
The burly man and the bald one glared at Qin Sisi nacingly, rope in hand, and warned, "We’ll spare your cat, but you must be like them."
Sisi knew they wouldn’t trust her so easily. She placed Ye You on the ground and let them bind her hands and feet. They blindfolded her and took her phone as well.
Just as they were about to gag her, Sisi warned anxiously, "If my cat disappears, I will bite my tongue and kill myself."
"ow!" Sisi heard Ye You’s comforting w from the side.
Relieved, Sisi let out a breath. It wasn’t long before a dirty rag was stuffed into her mouth, filling her taste buds with a nauseating taste.
Then she felt a shove. With her hands and feet tied, she fell helplessly onto the ground.
Then, she heard the creaking sound of a door close.
They must have left. People outside are gone, thought Sisi, letting out a small breath of relief.
Next mont, the ropes around her wrists loosened. Crashing through her bonds, Sisi imdiately removed her blindfold and spat out the rag.
In front of her was pitch black darkness. The dark chamber was completely devoid of light. So much so that she could hardly see her own hand in front of her.
Suddenly, a flicker of purple light appeared beside her, casting an eerie glow around the room. It was Ye You’s Ziwei Heaven Fire.
Sisi flashed a smirk at Ye You. Then she bent down and untied the ropes around her ankles.
Relieved of her bindings, she felt much lighter. Just as she was about to speak, Ye You made a shushing gesture and pointed towards a corner.
As Sisi glanced over, she couldn’t help but feel alard.
In that corner was another woman, or to be more precise, the ghost of a woman.
Due to her nervousness when she entered, coupled with the confusion caused by those eight or nine bounded won, Sisi failed to notice there was also a ghost in the room.
The ghostly woman, very much naked, had long ssy hair. She was covered in purplish bruises that made for a grueso sight.
And the strangest part was, her eyes were streaming with bloody tears.
At that mont, the bloody-eyed specter was looking at Sisi with pity-filled eyes.
Sisi froze for a mont. Just as she was about to approach the ghost, it suddenly vanished into thin air.
Sisi was stunned. Frantically, she blinked her eyes and looked at the empty corner again, confirming that there was nothing there.
She looked at Ye You in astonishnt. Ye You explained, "It must have been 4 o’clock."
It was only then that Sisi realized that quite a lot of ti had passed since she treated Han Xiutao’s legs, pacified Jiang Dachuan’s ghost, left the hospital, and took a long taxi ride to reach this place.
She instinctively reached into her pocket to check the ti on her phone, but her pocket was empty.
Ye You softly said, "They took your phone."
They obviously referred to the n earlier.
With a huff of annoyance, Sisi grumbled under her breath, "These people are too despicable!"
Ye You pondered for a bit and suggested, "We should report this to the police."
Sisi nodded and added after a beat, "Let’s stay here for a day. The ghost should appear again at night."
It didn’t feel right to just leave after encountering a ghost.
Understanding Sisi’s intentions, Ye You agreed, "Alright, but it might be a bit inconvenient for you."
Sisi gave a small shake of her head with a smile, "It’s no problem, I’m fine."
Then, her gaze fell upon the bound and dispirited won. Perhaps she could elicit so information from them first.
Sisi singled out a woman who looked the healthiest. To avoid causing trouble for herself, she put on a face mask and a hat before removing the woman’s blindfold and the rag in her mouth.
The sudden influx of light seed to disorient the woman. She blinked several tis, looking dazedly ahead.
The sight of the black-clad figure squatting in front of her made the woman’s body flinch backward, and she asked in fear, "Who are you?"
Sisi reassured in a deep voice, "I am here to rescue you."
The woman’s eyes lit up, and she asked eagerly, "Really? Can you really get us out of here?"
Sisi nodded with a resolute expression, "As long as you answer my questions truthfully, I will ensure your escape tomorrow."
The woman wasted no ti in nodding frantically.
She’d been captured for several days already. In the beginning, she had hope, expecting soone to co rescue them. But after a few days, despair was creeping in.
So, when soone finally claid to save them, she undoubtedly wanted to cooperate fully.
Sisi asked softly, "Are those n out there traffickers?"
The woman hesitated before responding, "They probably are, I heard them talking once about selling us to the mountains."
Sisi gave a slight nod, then asked, "Has anyone died in this room before?"
It was highly likely that the ghost had originated from this room.
Her face filled with terror, the woman nodded in affirmation, "Yes."
So, it was indeed the case.
Sisi asked further, "Was she also a woman they had captured?"
The woman nodded, "Yes."
Puzzled, Sisi proceeded to ask, "If they’re planning on selling people for money, why would they kill them?"
The woman hesitated for a long period before saying, "That woman was too temperantal."
