Chapter 477: Chapter 477: A Difficult Wish to Fulfill_1

The email was ended with a photo of a rather slender middle-aged woman wearing a plain dark blue coat, her lips pursed towards the cara.

She seed to be trying to squeeze out a hint of a smile, but in the end, she was not successful.

Looking at this lancholic woman, Qin Sisi felt complex emotions.

She anxiously handed her cellphone to Ye You, letting him look at the contents of the email that had been sent.

Ye You’s expression grew more and more serious. If what was stated there was true, then conveying this information to Jiang Dachuan might be difficult.

Who could accept that their wife had married the enemy who killed them?

Qin Sisi spoke with apprehension, "Do you think... Does Han Xiutao know that Hu Li killed her husband?"

Ye You shook his head, replying, "We haven’t even t her, how could we guess what she is thinking?"

"So what could we say to Jiang Dachuan?" Qin Sisi looked anxiously at Ye You.

She wasn’t sure about Jiang Dachuan’s deanor in life, but after being a water ghost for twenty years, he had developed quite a temper. If he knew the truth, he might have gone mad.

Ye You pondered for a mont, saying, "Let’s wait to tell him. Tonight, we go to Han Xiutao’s ho to investigate and see what the truth of the matter is."

Qin Sisi hesitated slightly, then nodded.

Ye You’s suggestion seed to be the best thod.

Indeed, they should first clarify the whole truth of the matter, and then tell Jiang Dachuan.

At eleven at night, Qin Sisi, fully equipped, and Ye You left the hotel.

Hidden under the Invisible Bubble, they summoned the Wings of Rainbow to fly to the neighborhood where Han Xiutao lived.

Using the map of X City before leaving, Qin Sisi found the residential complex where Han Xiutao lived. It was a little far from her hotel, probably one hour away.

As they flew, Qin Sisi found herself wondering.

Weren’t Jiang Dachuan and Hu Li both fishern? Logically, they should live near the sea. Why was Han Xiutao living so far from the sea?

But no matter how puzzled she was, Ye You was right. Without seeing her, how could they understand Han Xiutao’s intentions?

Qin Sisi controlled the Wings of Rainbow to continue flying forward. Ye You was sitting on her shoulder, and as he turned his head inadvertently, her beautifully curved half-moon shaped ear appeared before him.

Thinking about the frustration of being so close yet so far last night, Ye You felt an itch in his heart, and lowered his head to briefly kiss Qin Sisi’s earlobe.

Qin Sisi, focused on flying, was caught off guard by Ye You’s sudden harassnt. Startled, the Wings of Rainbow swayed for a mont.

Qin Sisi quickly regained her focus and steadied herself.

Then, she glared at Ye You and complained, "Stop ssing around, be careful or we’ll both fall."

Unfazed, Ye You murmured, "How could I let you fall?"

Qin Sisi blushed and stamred, "Anyway, don’t do that again. I might really lose my balance."

"Mm." Ye You replied, then sat quietly on her shoulder and did not disturb her again. He was probably really worried that Qin Sisi would be distracted and cause an accident.

About an hour and a half later, Qin Sisi and Ye You finally reached the neighborhood where Han Xiutao lived.

Going by the exact address provided by the private detective agency, Qin Sisi stopped by one of the apartnt buildings then climbed to an appropriate height. She found Han Xiutao’s window, opened it, and jumped in.

In order to avoid going to the wrong place, Qin Sisi opened the door to check the house number. She cald down when she confird she was in the correct location.

The night was very deep, and the room was dark and silent. Clearly, everyone here was already asleep.

Qin Sisi decided to enter the master bedroom first, as Han Xiutao being an elder of the household, was most likely to be residing there.

As she supposed, a rather slender and pallid middle-aged woman was sleeping in the big bed in the master bedroom.

Qin Sisi took a closer look. The woman looked quite similar to the one in the photo sent by the private detective agency. It must be Han Xiutao.

She turned to Ye You and whispered, "It must be her."

Ye You nodded, "Okay, I’ll try to read her mories. But since it’s been twenty years, it might be sowhat vague and may take a long ti. Don’t rush."

"Ok, I’ll wait for you." Qin Sisi’s tone was gentle and obedient.

Ye You felt a sense of peace in his heart, he looked deeply at Qin Sisi, leaped onto Han Xiutao, and placed a claw on Han Xiutao’s forehead to begin reading her mories.

It usually only took Ye You about ten minutes to read soone’s mories, but this ti it was noticeably longer.

Despite Ye You’s earlier reminder to be patient, as ti passed, Qin Sisi could not help but beco anxious.

The journey had been quite long, and more than half the effective ti of the Invisible Bubble was already over.

If Ye You didn’t stop soon, the Invisible Bubble would soon wear off.

Qin Sisi couldn’t help but walk two steps closer to him. She was agonizing over whether she should hurry Ye You along when his eyes flickered and his paw left Han Xiutao’s forehead.

Qin Sisi let out a sigh of relief and asked anxiously, "How did it go?"

Ye You responded hurriedly, "The Invisible Bubble is about to wear off, we should get out of here first."

Upon hearing this, Qin Sisi imdiately picked up Ye You and left Han Xiutao’s room. They crossed the living room, went to the balcony, hopped out of the window they ca in from, and restored the window to its original state.

She flew only for a few minutes on the Wings of Rainbow when the effective ti of the Invisible Bubble was up.

Qin Sisi had no choice but to put away the dazzling Wings of Rainbow and sat in the silver sphere that Ye You had conjured with magic.

"She is innocent," Ye You suddenly ntioned sothing out of the blue.

Qin Sisi was taken aback at first, but quickly understood that Ye You was referring to Han Xiutao.

"She didn’t know that Hu Li killed Jiang Dachuan, did she?" Qin Sisi asked.

Ye You nodded, and recounted Han Xiutao’s mories concerning Jiang Dachuan and Hu Li that he had read.

After listening, Qin Sisi sighed and said, "If that’s the case, Jiang Dachuan should forgive her! It’s a pity, however, that Hu Li is dead. If he were alive, we could help Jiang Dachuan avenge his death, and it would be a fulfillnt of his wish."

Unfortunately, Hu Li was already dead, and this vengeance was fated to be unresolved.

Even the fact that Han Xiutao remarried Hu Li might be unacceptable to Jiang Dachuan.

His killer could not be avenged, and the longing for his family couldn’t be satisfied either. They might have failed in helping Jiang Dachuan fulfill his wish.

The acquisition of his Soul Power seed uncertain now.
