Chapter 442: Chapter 442: The Angry Mrs. Fu_1
Speaking of Yu Feng’s wife, now Mrs. Fu, Qin Sisi suddenly wondered, Yu Feng did not know the real reason of his death, did his wife know about it?
"Do you think your wife would know why you died?" Qin Sisi asked Yu Feng.
Yu Feng shook his head in reply, "I don’t know, I’d like to ask her, but I can’t communicate with her. We live in different worlds, she can’t see , nor hear ."
Qin Sisi nodded thoughtfully, then suggested, "How about I try to help ask her tomorrow? Maybe she knows the truth."
After thinking for a mont, Yu Feng said, "I feel that she might not be very clear either, but she might know so clues. If that’s the case, I would appreciate if you could help
ask."
Loudly, Qin Sisi declared, "Alright, it’s settled then. Now I’m going to put you away, and I promise to tell you as quickly as possible when I have news."
Yu Feng nodded in agreent.
Qin Sisi looked at Ye You. Ye You outstretched a claw and swept it gently towards Yu Feng. Instantaneously, Yu Feng’s form vanished.
Qin Sisi breathed a sigh of relief, glanced at her phone to check the ti, and realised there was still ti for a few more hours of sleep.
However, her eyes swept over the gilt bed. Having heard from Ye You about the special utilities of the bed, she was really not willing to sleep on it.
Moreover, this was Mr. Fu and Mrs. Fu’s bedroom, the place where they shared their bed. She felt it inappropriate to sleep there.
There wasn’t a sofa in the room. Was she supposed to sleep directly on the floor?
Just as Qin Sisi was in a dilemma, Ye You lifted his claw and drew an arc above his head. A translucent silver sphere ford, encasing both him and Qin Sisi.
Relief washed over Qin Sisi. Only then did she rember that she could sleep inside the silver sphere conjured by Ye You’s magic.
She sat inside the silver sphere, shot Ye You an amused smile, and self-deprecatingly said, "How foolish of
to forget about your magic."
It was not her first ti sleeping in this silver sphere.
Ye You lifted a claw to ruffle her hair, teasingly saying, "Forgetting the magic is fine, just don’t forget about ."
"How could I forget about you?" Qin Sisi casually responded. Only after the words left her mouth did she realise their underlying ambiguity, causing her to blush.
Ye You let out a soft laugh, his pair of purple eyes shone like stars, intently gazing at Qin Sisi.
Biting her lip, Qin Sisi quickly diverted the topic back to the ghost at hand, "What do you make of Yu Feng’s situation?"
Ye You composed himself, voicing out in a deep tone, "I can’t be sure for now, let’s ask Lu ilin about it tomorrow. I have a feeling that things are not as simple as they seem."
A chill ran down Qin Sisi’s spine, "Not that simple? Could Yu Feng’s death be caused by sothing else other than an accidental exposure to penicillin leading to an allergic reaction?"
After a mont of silence, Ye You replied, "I’m not sure, let’s not think too much about it for now. We’ll see how things go tomorrow."
Qin Sisi nodded in agreent. Though the matter wasn’t too complex, she felt at a loss about how to deal with it. She had to wait until she asked Lu ilin tomorrow before making a decision.
Qin Sisi lay down slowly, the lower edge of the silver sphere which was soft and comfortable was beneath her.
Ye You lay down next to Qin Sisi, lifted his head to lightly kiss her soft lips. The shine in his purple eyes glimred faintly.
Qin Sisi blushed, purse her lips and slowly closed her eyes.
The two of them rested for a few hours inside the silver sphere.
As dawn was breaking, before Qin Sisi had opened her eyes, she heard a ’knock knock knock’ at the door.
Qin Sisi snapped up, looked around in a daze, and finally rembered where she was.
The deafening knock continued, Ye You had also risen. He directed the silver sphere to land on the ground, then ended the magic. The sphere subsequently disappeared.
Qin Sisi looked at the door being pounded and felt sowhat annoyed.
She walked over to open the door, and was surprised by the person standing outside: it was surprisingly Lu ilin.
"Mrs. Fu?" Qin Sisi looked at Lu ilin puzzlingly, not understanding why she would visit so early in the morning.
"Good morning, Master Qin." Lu ilin greeted Qin Sisi with a hollow smirk and then stepped into the bedroom.
Despite the respectful addressing, deep alienation could be felt.
Qin Sisi frowned, "Mrs. Fu, is there sothing urgent this early in the morning?"
Lu ilin replied assertively, yet gracefully, "This is my room. I will co whenever I want to."
After finishing her statent, she strode towards the wardrobe, opened the cabinet and started to look for clothes.
The wardrobe was packed with nurous clothes in all sorts of colors and styles: long dresses, short skirts, coats, padded jackets, you na it.
Qin Sisi couldn’t fathom Lu ilin’s source of anger. Was it because she had occupied their bedroom for a night? Or was she worried that Qin Sisi might have touched their personal belongings?
After a brief thought, Qin Sisi deliberately softened her tone and said, "Mrs. Fu, of course this room, even this villa is yours and Mr. Fu’s. But I was here upon sobody’s request, to clean the unclean things here. I slept on the ground last night and I did not touch anything of yours."
Qin Sisi reckoned she explained herself quite well, and expected that Lu ilin wouldn’t be mad any longer.
Contrarily, Lu ilin twisted her head around, her eyebrows knitted, and coldly said, "Unclean things? Master Qin, may I ask if you’ve found any unclean things?"
Lu ilin’s attitude aggravated Qin Sisi who no longer maintained the superficial courtesies, and bluntly replied in a calm yet cold voice, "Yes, I found a ghost. He said his na was Yu Feng."
As she spoke, Qin Sisi carefully observed Lu ilin’s facial expressions.
Upon hearing the na ’Yu Feng’, as expected, Lu ilin’s complexion drastically changed. However, what baffled Qin Sisi was that Lu ilin’s expression was not one of sentintality or nostalgia as expected, but one of fear and anger.
However, Lu ilin quickly suppressed her look of fear and anger, replaced it with a cold look, looked scornfully at Qin Sisi and said, "How ridiculous. In our age, soone is still talking about ghosts. You all are just a bunch of conn!"
Qin Sisi was not too agitated with the harsh words from Lu ilin, as she understood that talking about spirits and other otherworldly beings sounded quite absurd, and she did not expect everyone to believe her.
Nevertheless, she was even more confused.
Yu Feng claid that Lu ilin was his wife, yet her reactions were too unusual, nothing like a wife would react upon hearing her deceased husband’s na.
Could Yu Feng be lying? Was Lu ilin not his wife?
After a brief thought, Qin Sisi shook her head, discarding her doubts. Why would a gentle-natured ghost, who bore no malice and only desired to be enlightened about his own death, lie?
