Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Blue Handso Ghost Immortal _1

About a quarter of an hour later, the entire bundle of yellow paper had turned to ashes, with only a few stray sparks flickering on and off.

Suddenly, a cloud of black fog surged out from the floor beneath the ashes, shooting straight up to the ceiling to form a terrifying shape and let out a fierce roar.

"Ah!" Sisi Qin instinctively stepped back in fright, while Ye You quickly stepped forward, placing himself in front of her for protection.

"Hahaha ..."

The black fog abruptly burst into unbridled laughter and then began to gradually spin and shrink, eventually taking on a human shape with an increasingly clear face and limbs.

This was a blue person, no, a blue ghost, with icy blue skin, dark blue hair, a sky-blue hooded sweatshirt, and cobalt blue sneakers. Despite the eeriness of his blue skin, his features were well-proportioned, angular, and his eyes were spirited, sparking brilliantly with every blink.

"Hey, beautiful, did you summon ?" The blue ghost flashed a smile at Sisi, showing off his gleaming white teeth, which seed even more radiant against his blue skin.

Ye You’s eyes narrowed as he said coldly, "It was I who sought you."

"Oh ... a talking cat?" The blue ghost’s smile faded, replaced with a surprise as he looked at Ye You.

Sisi was also astonished. Another ghost could hear Ye You speak. Could this ghost, like Master Hong Bo, have practiced for thousands of years?

Not deigning to say more, Ye You simply lifted his paw, and the piece of paper bearing Shen Hengzhi’s na and birthdate floated leisurely down in front of the blue ghost.

"Check this person’s current status. Quickly." Ye You spoke in a grave voice.

The blue ghost looked sowhat begrudged and said: "Hey, man, if you want soone’s help, at least ask nicely."

Ye You narrowed his eyes, and two beams of purple light shot out, swiftly forming a barrier that enveloped the blue ghost.

The blue ghost was taken aback; he apparently hadn’t expected Ye You to suddenly attack, and the purity of the spiritual power almost made him gasp for breath.

Deeming it better to submit than to resist, the blue ghost quickly shouted: "Stop, stop, I agree, I agree!"

Ye You withdrew his magic and calmly sat down, flicking his tail arrogantly as if he hadn’t taken the blue ghost seriously at all.

The blue ghost shot Ye You an annoyed glance, fussily straightened out his ssy hair and clothes, and then reached for the floating piece of paper in front of him, frowning as he looked it over.

Watching this, Sisi had mixed feelings. Ye You certainly had a ... distinctive way of asking for help. This blue ghost, although he looked strange, didn’t have a malicious aura about him and seed rather amiable.

So, Sisi politely said: "We really are in a hurry. Please."

The blue ghost looked at Sisi, then flashed a charming smile and said: "It is my honor to be of service to a beautiful lady. I’m Lan Di. Could I know your na, miss?"

His attitude was hard to resist, so Sisi replied: "Nice to et you, I’m Sisi Qin."

Lan Di’s eyes sparkled, and he said with a grin: "Nice to et you, Miss Sisi." He then extended his hand in a perfect handshake gesture.

A handshake was a commonplace greeting.

Just as Sisi was about to extend her hand in response, Ye You suddenly leaped from the ground, landing straight in Sisi’s arms.

Caught off guard, Sisi instinctively held onto Ye You, naturally leaving no hand free to shake Lan Di’s.

Embarassed, Lan Di withdrew his hand, muttered to himself disdainfully: "Stingy."

Ye You nestled in Sisi’s arms, turned his head to give Lan Di a sharp glare, and coldly said: "Get going now!"

Having been continuously belittled in front of Sisi, Lan Di was starting to lose his temper, he retorted: "Hey, hey, hey, why should I listen to you? Don’t think I’m afraid of you just because you’re powerful!"

Fearing another altercation between the two, Sisi quickly interjected: "Mr. Lan, please help us. Tomorrow, I’ll burn extra paper money for you."

Lan Di chortled and retorted: "Miss Sisi, do you think I’m short of money?"

Ye You coldly interjected: "You know why you’re here. I have what you want."

Lan Di’s expression froze for a mont, but he quickly regained his composure and nodded: "Fine, I’ll do this business." He folded the paper neatly and put it in his pocket, then added: "I’ll have information for you before dawn."

Just as Lan Di was about to turn around and leave, another cloud of black smoke suddenly surged from the floor’s northwestern corner, his place of entrance.

Another ghost?

Although surprised, Sisi wasn’t too frightened this ti.

This new cloud of black smoke didn’t undergo the dramatic transformation or laughter like Lan Di did before. Instead, it quickly condensed into a refined figure: a young woman wearing a light blue dress appeared in the corner.

Unlike Lan Di, this woman looked more like an ordinary person, with fair skin, shoulder length black hair, a beautiful face, and even a pair of glasses. Her appearance and deanor were reminiscent of a college student.

Upon seeing Lan Di, the woman’s face lit up as she approached him and said: "Why did you co up alone? You didn’t even call ." Her tone was reproachful but mostly coquettish.

Lan Di frowned, appearing unhappy, and replied dismissively: "I have my own things to do. I don’t have to tell you everything, do I?"

The woman looked hurt and replied quietly: "I’m just worried about you."

Lan Di retorted impatiently: "I don’t need you to worry about . Just take care of yourself."

After dismissing the woman, Lan Di walked back to his corner, his solid form quickly becoming vague, leaving only his head visible. He winked playfully at Sisi, teasing: "See you, Miss Sisi. Don’t forget to think of !" Turning to face Ye You’s icy, murderous gaze, Lan Di cheekily stuck out his tongue and then disappeared.

The young woman in the light blue dress glanced at Sisi, then quietly walked back to the northwestern corner. Her body becoming vague, and like Lan Di, she vanished without a trace.

Sisi strained her eyes to see. The ashes from the burnt yellow paper had disappeared along with Lan Di, as if absorbed by the northwest corner, which was as empty as it had been, as if nothing had ever happened.

After a mont, Sisi sat down next to the sofa, holding Ye You in her arms, and said: "Isn’t it ti you explained to

what’s going on?"

Ye You’s expression softened: "Nothing much, just summoned a Ghost Immortal to get so information."
