Chapter 318: Chapter 318 The Cost of Queue Jumping in Reincarnation_1
Upon hearing Ye You’s clear stance, Qin Sisi’s heart ward, and she sincerely said to him, "Thank you."
Ye You looked at Qin Sisi with a gentle expression and ruffled her hair with his claw.
At this mont, Qian Qian’s father woke up. Seeing his wife staying up late, missing their daughter, he sighed deeply. He moved over to Qian Qian’s mother, took the photo from her hand and placed it on the bedside table. Then, he put his arm around his wife’s shoulder and gently comforted her, "Please get so sleep, you have work tomorrow."
Qian Qian’s mother didn’t speak, but obediently laid down with her husband, letting out a few soft sobs in his arms.
Qian Qian’s father held his wife tightly in his arms. As he laid down, Qin Sisi saw a single tear slip from his eye and absorbed into the pillow, quickly disappearing.
The couple held onto each other, as if seeking warmth and comfort for their grieving souls.
Life had to press on, so after so ti of mourning, they gradually fell asleep.
That night, Qian Qian’s parents both had a dream.
In the dream, a massive and majestic black tiger descended from the heavens, carrying two figures on its back.
The larger figure was a person dressed in black, wearing a black mask and hat. Aside from their clear and luminous eyes, no other facial features could be seen. Judging by their slender figure, it should be a woman.
The smaller one was indeed their dearly missed daughter Qian Qian, who they found painful to even think about.
Qian Qian was dressed in the pure white princess dress she wore the day the accident happened. She was smiling brightly at them, as if she had never left.
The couple, both startled and overjoyed, rushed towards the black tiger and their daughter. But no matter how much they ran, they could never get close to the black tiger and their child.
Qian Qian’s sweet crisp voice rang out from every direction, distant but clear, "Mom, Dad, I t a fairy who can help
reincarnate. If you have another child, my soul will attach to that child and return to you."
After Qian Qian’s words, the black tiger ascended, and the white cloud under its feet twisted and turned, much like riding on a cloud.
The black tiger ascended higher and further, quickly disappearing with Qian Qian and the fairy she ntioned in her arms.
When Qian Qian’s parents woke up, it was already dawn. Their faces were pale and they were covered in sweat.
After deliberating over this miraculous dream for several days, they decided to believe in it and chose to have another child, just as Qian Qian said.
The second night after she manipulated Qian Qian’s parents’ dreams, Qin Sisi used the yellow paper infused with Ye You’s spiritual power to once again summon Lan Di, informing her about their readiness to help Qian Qian reincarnate.
Upon hearing this, Lan Di furrowed her brow, "Do you guys think reincarnation is a joke? Reincarnate whenever you want and to whichever family you want to!"
Qin Sisi humbly replied, "We know it’s difficult, that’s why we need Lord Ghost for help"
Lan Di waved her hand, "I can’t help with this, it’s too difficult."
Ye You, sitting aside, coldly said, "Stop playing dumb in front of , this is a special case. If it were sothing happening a hundred years later, we wouldn’t need your help."
Lan Di retorted, "In a hundred years it would be easier. Lord Registrar would see we’ve been waiting for so long and wouldn’t fuss too much. But you want to not only cut the line but also select where to reincarnate. If every ghost did this, wouldn’t the order of the netherworld be thrown into chaos?"
Ye You understood that he was infringing on the rules. After a quiet mont, he stated, "Just this once, it won’t happen again."
Lan Di looked at Ye You suspiciously, "Why are you so eager to help? Even if we resolve this, it won’t benefit you in any way, right?"
Ye You’s gaze hardened, "That’s none of your concern."
Lan Di crossed her hands helplessly, then with a stern expression told Ye You, "I will only be responsible for negotiating. Anything else that needs to be given will be your responsibility."
"Okay," Ye You answered without hesitation.
After Lan Di left, Qin Sisi asked Ye You, "What did she an? What price will you have to pay?"
Ye You gently reassured her in a calm voice, "Don’t worry, it’s just so spiritual power and money."
But Qin Sisi couldn’t rest easy, she thought for a long ti before asking, "What if they need a lot of spiritual power, would that harm your body?"
Qin Sisi’s concern ward Ye You’s heart, he teased her by asking in return, "Do I look that weak to you?"
Qin Sisi blinked. Ye You did indeed seem very powerful; maybe ... perhaps ... he probably could handle it.
Qin Sisi didn’t ask again, but her heart remained uneasy.
In the early morning, Qin Sisi received a text from Lan Di, instructing her to buy so items, and adding that the more, the better.
Thus, when it turned day, Qin Sisi went shopping with Ye You.
In the convenience store she frequently visited, Qin Sisi bought all the yellow paper and Joss Paper, along with several golden paper-made Gold ingots.
Thankfully, it was the end of the year and the flow of supplies was about to stop. The shop had stocked a large supply to fulfill the demands of the traditional worship ceremonies in the first month of the year.
Qin Sisi staggered out of the convenience store, carrying three large black plastic bags that were filled to the brim.
While happily counting the money, the shopkeeper looked curiously at Qin Sisi’s retreating figure.
This girl was strange. She kept buying yellow paper and Joss Paper, and had purchased so much in one go. The shopkeeper wondered what she was doing.
A bit annoyed, Qin Sisi lugged the bags for a while before finally finding a relatively secluded spot. She hurriedly passed the three large bags to Ye You before anyone saw and asked him to keep them in his Portable Space.
Then, Qin Sisi lightly dusted off her hands, sighing in relief. The three big bags were really heavy.
However, Qin Sisi was still in a good mood. If spending so money and buying stuff could solve the problem, then it was quite a good deal.
However, co evening, Qin Sisi realized she underestimated the task.
There were too many things to burn - she couldn’t do it in the room. It would take too long and would fill the room with black smoke, making it unlivable.
Thus, Qin Sisi packed her bags, summoned the Wings of Rainbow, and flew with Ye You to a park in the northwest of S City.
Nobody usually visited the park at night, especially on a cold winter’s night.
Qin Sisi specifically found an open area, away from the park’s trees and flowerbeds, to avoid accidentally setting the plants on fire while burning items.
Although Ye You could quickly extinguish the fire using Water Magic, it was still better to take precautions.
Qin Sisi opened the three big plastic bags. Due to the large quantity, she took out a portion first and was about to light them on fire using her Fire Magic when Ye You suddenly said, "Wait."
