In the anxious anticipation of Xie Kexin’s parents, the rising sun finally began to ascend from the east.

Qin Sisi approached the bed and whispered to Xie Kexin, "Xie Kexin, I have a few questions to ask you."
Xie Kexin looked up at Qin Sisi with a bewildered expression, asking, "Who are you...?"
Director Liu quickly stepped forward saying, "This is our school’s new counselor, Xie Kexin. Your recovery is largely due to her effort. Please answer her questions."
Qin Sisi looked at Director Liu sowhat awkwardly, realizing she wasn’t sure if she could carry the weighty title of "university counselor."
But Xie Kexin recognized Director Liu. Seeing him here, she nodded obediently.
Qin Sisi bent down and looked into Xie Kexin’s eyes, asking, "Kexin, did you recently purchase any decorative items with Miao ethnic characteristics?"
Xie Kexin thought for a mont, then replied in a whisper, "Last week when I was out shopping, I bought a minority-thed pendant. But I’m not sure if it’s of Miao origin."
Because of her physical weakness, Xie Kexin’s voice was very faint. Qin Sisi had to lean in to hear clearly.
Qin Sisi leaned in further and continued asking, "Where did you put it?"
Xie Kexin pondered for a mont then said, "I put it on my wallet. I carry it during the day and place it under my pillow at night."
Xie Kexin fell into a coma after going to bed at night. She was now wearing a hospital gown and didn’t have the pendant on her, implying it must be under her pillow.
Nodding, Qin Sisi said, "Okay, I understand. Can you rember where you bought it?"
Ye You had told Qin Sisi to ask her questions in detail. If the ornant was problematic, the shop selling the ornant might also be problematic.
Xie Kexin shook her head gently and answered, "I didn’t buy it from a store. An old lady was carrying a shelf full of different trinkets. I thought they looked nice, so I bought one."
