Qin Sisi, with her head raised and her eyes filled with a touch of longing, watched as Ye You circled upwards, then followed a streamlined path back to her. The entire process was as smooth as the flow of wind and current, without any hiccups.
Returning to Qin Sisi, Ye You shook his head and said, "No library, we’ll move on to the next building."
With that, Ye You rushed forward, imdiately followed by Qin Sisi. Ti was of the essence, there wasn’t a mont to waste.
According to their prior plan, the next building Qin Sisi was supposed to search was the Multi-Purpose Building, twelve floors high.
Just like the library, this building too had been completely shrouded in darkness.
Ye You opened his small faint black wings, just as he had done before, circling around the first floor of the Multi-Purpose Building before spiraling upwards, probing each floor.
Watching Ye You’s increasingly indistinct figure, Qin Sisi felt her anxiety mounting. Ti was slipping away, one mont at a ti. Go Xiao Hei, go!
Ye You circled each floor. At the twelfth floor, he suddenly changed his direction, flying straight towards Qin Sisi.
Recognizing the unusual behavior, Qin Sisi shouted before Ye You was close enough, "What’s going on?"
"Found her." responded Ye You, his voice deep and low.
While speaking, Ye You was already back at Qin Sisi’s side, swiftly withdrawing his wings and forming a semi-transparent silver sphere via his magic source. Encircling both himself and Qin Sisi.
The silver sphere, carrying Qin Sisi and Ye You, was headed for the twelfth floor of the Multi-Purpose Building.
"Are you sure it’s her?" Qin Sisi asked concernedly, looking at Ning Yue.
Ye You nodded, "Sure. Each ghost emits a unique aura, I can feel it. There’s another ghost besides her, your suspicion seems to be correct."
Qin Sisi’s expression changed imdiately. She quickly texted Ning Hao, notifying her of Ning Yue’s location.
She didn’t need to say anything else; Ning Hao would definitely co rushing over as fast as possible.
Qin Sisi checked the ti, it was 10:58. Their silver sphere wasn’t too quick; they hadn’t even covered half of the journey yet.
Unable to stay patient, Qin Sisi urged, "Xiao Hei, can you go faster?"
Ye You gritted his teeth, doing his best to mobilize his magical source, leading to an increase in the sphere’s speed.
anwhile, on the shady side of the twelfth floor of the Multi-Purpose Building, the slender body of Ning Yue lay unconscious, face down on the icy cold floor.
Another slender figure was standing beside her, looking down at her with disdain.
As the clock struck eleven, Ning Yue’s body began to turn ethereal, transforming from a solid human body into a ghostly figure.
The slender figure broke into a satisfying and eerie laughter when it perceived the transformation, a sweet and sticky voice murmuring, "I knew this would happen. You were bound to revert back. Now, let
taste how you are. I’m sure you’ll be much tastier than the sanitation worker I devoured before."
The ghostly figure had a wicked smile on her beautiful face as she slowly leaned towards Ning Yue, extending her icy cold hands preparing to extract Ning Yue’s soul power.
Suddenly, a loud shatter sound was heard from the window and the sensor light in the bathroom brightened up the room.
The sudden noise startled the ghost who hastily looked towards the sound, only to see the window shattered with shards of glass all over the floor.
Through the now empty window, a girl dressed in black leaped in, her face filled with fury.
After assisting Qin Sisi to enter, the silver sphere imdiately disappeared.
Ye You, left exhausted, stretched out on the window sill muttering, "Sisi, I’ve done all I can, the rest is up to you."
Qin Sisi gently cast a glance at Ye You, softly rubbing his soft body, "Xiao Hei, thank you."
Then, she turned to face the ghost that was threatening Ning Yue. Her gaze turning icy cold, exuding an intimidating aura as she tightly gripped the Divine Dog’s Fury.
The ghost was a young and gorgeous woman in a delightful pink dress, sporting a pair of stunning white shoes. It was hard to believe that this innocent-looking beauty was a fierce ghost, capable of devouring souls.
Caught off guard, the ghost stood up, looking back at the sudden appearance of the girl in black. After a mont, her startled expression turned calm, even exhibiting a trace of delight.
She tilted her head and laughed at Qin Sisi, "I must say, today’s my lucky day. First a ghost, now a living person. I can absorb the soul power of both at the sa ti."
Qin Sisi turned as cold as ice, saying definitively, "Let’s see if you’re up to it."
As soon as she finished speaking, she ruthlessly swung The Divine Dog’s Fury towards the ghost.
Although the ghost was unfamiliar with the Divine Dog’s Fury, she could feel the murderous intent radiating from the black whip. She didn’t dare to underestimate it and moved quickly to dodge the attack.
After an unsuccessful attack, Qin Sisi kept swinging the whip. The ghost’s spiritual power couldn’t stand a chance against the power of the Divine Dog’s Fury, but she was nimble and evaded every blow.

The feeling of dizziness kept increasing. Qin Sisi started having trouble making out the ghost’s location. She swung her whip aimlessly, each one easily dodged by the ghost.
Seeing Qin Sisi in a bad state, Ye You quickly pulled out a pill from his Portable Space that could rapidly restore spiritual power. If Qin Sisi failed, it would be up to him.
Pills taken in excess can lead to an addiction of sorts, hampering the enhancent of the Magic Source, but there wasn’t any other choice to save Qin Sisi at this point.
Everything was becoming more and more blurred as Qin Sisi was consud with anxiety, struggling to find a solution.
