Chapter 1451: Extra Story 7: Ascension to Immortality
Before regaining her human form, Qin Sisi once curiously asked Ye You, as the highest-level Magic Saint in magic, what was different?
If one continues to practice, their magic power will inevitably increase. When one reaches the Magic Saint level, is it no longer possible to improve, regardless of practice?
Ye You smiled at Qin Sisi back then, without directly answering her question, and said aningfully, "When you beco a Magic Saint, you’ll naturally understand."
Qin Sisi glanced discontentedly at Ye You, yet her curiosity grew stronger within her.
Two years after returning to the Demon Sacred Realm, Ye You finally beca a Level Eight Alchemist and crafted a Perfect Level Jade lting Pill, which lifted the curse and restored her human form.
Due to the curse, the gains Qin Sisi achieved in the Four Forbidden Zones couldn’t fully manifest. The pills she consud, magic crystal stones used, the magic crystal core from Inkwest City, and even the power of the Life Divine Water, were greatly suppressed by the curse.
When Qin Sisi regained her human form, these suppressed powers were finally unleashed completely, and her Magic Source burst forth with a blazing radiance, causing her magic power to rapidly soar.
The light gradually faded, and the Magic Source transford from purple to silver, and then from silver to gold, resembling a sea of dazzling golden light.
Without undergoing the Heavenly Tribulation, Qin Sisi leaped from Demon Emperor to Magic Saint, reaching the highest level of Magic Practice.
A few days later, as Qin Sisi’s power stabilized, deeper insights into magic began to erge in her mind.
Just as she previously pondered, the sea of learning is boundless, and magic practice is also unending.
The Magic Saint is the highest level of magic practice in the Demon Sacred Realm, but it’s not the endpoint. Magic Saints are divided into ten star levels, from one star to ten stars.
Upon reaching Magic Saint Ten Star Level, one can ascend to the Immortal Realm and pursue the Path to Longevity.
These magic insights were previously unknown in the Demon Sacred Realm, as no one had advanced to the level of Magic Saint before. Ye You and Qin Sisi only had the opportunity to step into the Magic Saint level after the adventures in the Four Forbidden Zones, gaining insights into higher levels of practice.
If they hadn’t perceived the call of the Path to Longevity in the Immortal Realm, it would have been fine. Now that both have beco Magic Saints, glimpsing a higher and broader realm of magic practice, as magic practitioners, they naturally couldn’t be content to stop.
However, before that, they have responsibilities to fulfill.
Ye You continues to be a wise and diligent Sage Ruler, devoted to the people and the realm, while Qin Sisi stands by his side as a gentle and virtuous consort, excellent in both character and talent.
Once they have children of their own, they must also be good parents to them.
Occasionally, Qin Sisi would visit her hotown Blue Star to see old friends and the city she once knew.
In the early decades, most of their ti and energy were devoted to the people of the Demon Sacred Realm and their children, leaving little ti to focus on practice, and thus their magic power didn’t see significant improvent.
Once Ning Rui possessed enough strength, Ye You passed the position of Sage Ruler to him.
In the practicing environnt of the Demon Sacred Realm, becoming a Magic Saint is an opportunity as rare as it is desirable. They love their children dearly, but cannot help them reach the highest level. That requires abundant practice resources, prolonged experience, profound insight, and magical encounters, all of which are indispensable.
After passing the Sage Ruler position to Ning Rui, Qin Sisi and Ye You secluded themselves for cultivation in a side hall of the Wang City Royal Palace. They didn’t leave the palace; newly appointed Sage Ruler Ning Rui could still seek their guidance if he encountered unsolvable problems.
Another few decades passed, and once Ning Rui could stand on his own, Ye You and Qin Sisi bid farewell to Ning Rui and Ning Xi, leaving Wang City Royal Palace to retreat in isolation for focused practice.
Five hundred years later, the Demon Sacred Realm finally witnessed the births of two Magic Saint Ten Stars.
Two dazzling beams of golden light shot from a deep mountain, reaching into the distant sky, extending further toward the mysterious and inscrutable Immortal Realm.
Qin Sisi, in a snow-white dress, and Ye You, in attire as dark as ink, floated up from the mountain. They had no magic wings, for the art of flying had beco a matter of thought.
Though they were far from human settlents, everyone in the Demon Sacred Realm witnessed them, whether in the easternmost Seven Pearl City, the westernmost Daye City, the southernmost Flower Fragrance City, or the northernmost Crystal City.
Even in the waters of the No Delusion Deep Sea, under the sunlight in the Dark Forest, within the lakes of the Deep Pupil Desert, and atop the glaciers of the Extre North Ice Field, their mirages appeared.
Qin Sisi and Ye You held hands, smiling, waving farewell to everyone.
All their relatives, friends, and subjects gazed at them wide-eyed, with expressions of surprise and awe.
Xiao ng, Yun Cheng, Jiu Ge, Li Li, Qing Xun, Yi Rou, Chen Song, Len Yue, Phantom Spirit, Shuo Yu, Ru Lin, Ge Lanxue, Huo Huan, Xiao Zhu, Master Yipiao...
And their beloved Ning Rui and Ning Xi.
Many people have left deep imprints on their lives, but so paths, they may not always accompany them. Everyone has their own journey.
"Goodbye, my friends, my family. Hope to et you in a new world soday."
This is the shared sentint of Qin Sisi and Ye You.
They followed the two beams of light leading to an unknown world, slowly ascending into the azure sky, flying higher and farther.
Their hands remained tightly clasped the entire ti, never parting regardless of what they encountered.
Is the road to the Immortal Realm one of tranquility or a new adventure? Who knows?
Whichever it is, that would be another story.
