Chapter 1417: Chapter 1417: The Wrath of the Resentful Woman

Faced with the Snow-scaled White Horse’s fondness for the Nine-Colored Deer, the Ice Snow Fairy expressed her displeasure with indifference.

When the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer invited her to join them for an outing, she claid to feel unwell and wished to remain at ho to rest. She thought the Snow-scaled White Horse would cancel the trip and stay to accompany her, but to her surprise, he simply advised her to rest well before leaving the Ice Snow Palace with the Nine-Colored Deer.

The two Snow Demons left in the morning and only returned late at night. The Snow-scaled White Horse returned to the room and fell asleep imdiately, completely ignoring the Ice Snow Fairy who had been waiting for him.

From then on, the Snow-scaled White Horse frequently went on outings with the Nine-Colored Deer, and even stopped inviting the Ice Snow Fairy, often staying out for the entire day and increasingly spending nights away.

Eventually, the Ice Snow Fairy could no longer bear it, so she used her magic power to seal the door of the Ice Snow Palace, forbidding the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer from leaving, demanding that the Snow-scaled White Horse stay ho with her.

Reluctantly, the Snow-scaled White Horse agreed, but the couple spent the entire day in the room speaking only a few words.

The Ice Snow Fairy was heartbroken; she didn’t understand what had happened. They had always been so close and intimate, sharing everything. How did it beco like this?

As soon as night fell, the Snow-scaled White Horse went to bed, turning his back on the Ice Snow Fairy, distancing himself from her.

Looking at the gap between them, about the width of a small arm, the Ice Snow Fairy felt it was like an insurmountable mountain or ocean.

With tears in her eyes, she drifted into sleep, but in the dead of night, she was awakened by a stabbing pain in her chest, only to discover that the Snow-scaled White Horse beside her was gone.

She walked out of the room barefoot; the Ice Snow Palace was silent, without a sound. But after a thousand years of marriage to the Snow-scaled White Horse, she could sense him.

Following her instincts, the Ice Snow Fairy arrived outside the Nine-Colored Deer’s room, easily breaking the barriers outside, and saw the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer entangled on the bed.

It turned out that the Nine-Colored Deer had long since assud a human form. The Snow-scaled White Horse had given her many of the cultivation resources that the Ice Snow Fairy had provided, greatly enhancing the Nine-Colored Deer’s magic power, leading her quickly to her human form.

This matter was tacitly kept a secret from the Ice Snow Fairy. The two had secretly been together for a long ti, and their outings were rely excuses to be intimate.

"Why?" The Ice Snow Fairy asked the Snow-scaled White Horse, bereft of spirit.

The Snow-scaled White Horse responded with silence, while the Nine-Colored Deer replied bluntly, "I’ll tell you why: because he no longer loves you, he loves

now."

"Impossible," the Ice Snow Fairy’s voice was hurried; she couldn’t believe the sight before her eyes, choking with sadness, "He once said he would love

forever."

At this mont, tears stread down the Ice Snow Fairy’s face, her expression dazed, completely losing the elegance and grace of a deity, staring blankly at the indifferent and silent Snow-scaled White Horse.

The Nine-Colored Deer shrugged, walked up to the Snow-scaled White Horse, hooked her arm through his, and sat on his lap, casting a provocative glance at the Ice Snow Fairy.

Unable to bear it anymore, the Ice Snow Fairy rushed forward and pushed the Nine-Colored Deer to the ground, raising her hand to unleash magical power to kill her.

The Snow-scaled White Horse stood heroically in front of the Nine-Colored Deer, shouting loudly, "Haven’t you had enough? If you have the guts, kill

too!"

"You..." Seeing the Snow-scaled White Horse protecting the Nine-Colored Deer, the Ice Snow Fairy felt as if her heart was being torn apart.

The Snow-scaled White Horse sighed and said, "I owe you, let’s part amicably."

The phrase "part amicably" rang like a sudden clap of thunder in the Ice Snow Fairy’s ears. She blankly asked, "Why exactly?"

The Snow-scaled White Horse frowned and replied, "I feel happier with her; being with you is too stressful. You are a deity with powerful mana, and I am just a humble Snow Demon."

"But I have never looked down on you," the Ice Snow Fairy declared with resolute clarity, hoping to win back her Xue Lang.

However, the Snow-scaled White Horse coldly responded, "There’s no need to say anymore. We shouldn’t et again in the future."

With that, he picked up the pitiful Nine-Colored Deer who had been pushed to the ground and left the Ice Snow Palace without looking back.

Watching the Snow-scaled White Horse leave resolutely with another woman in his arms, a myriad of emotions surged through the Ice Snow Fairy’s heart: grievance, resentnt, anger, sha, unwillingness...

"I hate you all, and I will make you pay!" The once beautiful and elegant, cool and noble Ice Snow Fairy had beco a complete resentful woman, crying out her rage toward the snow-filled sky.

She imprisoned the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer in a small valley, separating them with an incredibly hard stone barrier, preventing them from going out or seeing each other.

In her heart, she still hoped that the Snow-scaled White Horse would return to his senses and co back to her. She was waiting for his compromise and plea.

But the hope was slim.

Imprisonnt and separation did not cool the affection between the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer; instead, they grew stronger, creating a love story of shared adversity.

They lived in the closest spots to the stone barrier, often speaking across the stone, encouraging each other not to give up. The old hag, the Ice Snow Fairy, would eventually let go, and then they could be together openly, never to part again.

At night, they exchanged tender words. Though they couldn’t be physically close, they communicated their affection and longing through words.

The Ice Snow Fairy frequently visited them to see if the Snow-scaled White Horse would ask for her forgiveness, but instead, she heard their affectionate exchanges.

In that mont, she wished she were deaf.

Due to the Snow-scaled White Horse and the Nine-Colored Deer’s betrayal and lack of compromise, the Ice Snow Fairy took out her anger on the entire Snow Demon Tribe. She used her magic power to cast a prohibition spell on the Snow Demon Tribe’s dwelling place, forbidding them to go out freely, and turned the climate there extrely cold, tantamount to the bitter cold of the far north.

The Snow Demon Tribe indeed was resistant to the cold, but only to a certain extent. Extrely low temperatures were detrintal to their survival and reproduction.

As a result, the population of the Snow Demon Tribe began to decline, and the tribe mbers’ attitude towards the Ice Snow Fairy changed from respect and admiration to complaint and fear.

The Ice Snow Fairy’s temperant grew increasingly strange and cruel. If she saw a female Snow Demon who had transford into a human with exceptional beauty, she would destroy her beauty in a mad frenzy.

Sotis she would deliberately disguise herself as a beautiful Snow Demon woman to seduce n of the Snow Demon Tribe, especially the young and handso ones. If any man succumbed to temptation and tried to get close, upon touching her, he would be rcilessly killed.
