Later, Mu Ze succeeded to the position of Clan Leader. The grand elderly Pu Lizi, in defense of Mu Ze, spoke disrespectfully to the Deity. In anger, the Deity slew Pu Lizi. Mu Ze, seeking revenge for Pu Lizi, injured the Deity while he was unguarded, provoking the Deity’s fury. The Deity then retracted all the rivers flowing from the Kurosawa Highland to the Stoning Plain.
The rivers vanished, and the huge lake slowly dried up. The Mu Water Clan people lost the water sources they depended on for survival, and many died every day from the lack of water.
In order to atone for his mistake, Clan Leader Mu Ze began to use Water Magic to release clear water, which flowed from the Chief Mansion along a thin pipe to the outside, where others would collect it with clay pots.

Chen Pei and his parents watched the water shooting from Qin Sisi’s palm, their faces full of joy and astonishnt. They had lived in an extrely water-scarce environnt since birth and had never seen so much water before.
A mont later, the cistern was filled with water. Qin Sisi withdrew her Magic power.
Chen Pei and his parents gathered around the cistern, full of excitent, tears of joy streaming down their faces. In their hearts, having so much water and being able to drink and use it freely was the happiest mont of their lives.
Chen Pei rushed to kneel in front of Qin Sisi and Ye You, expressing his gratitude, "Thank you so much! You must be immortals sent from heaven to save the Mu Water Clan."
Qin Sisi gently replied, "We are not immortals; we are just here looking for soone. Can you tell us how to get to the Chief Mansion and the Kurosawa Highland?"
