Zi Yu replied in shock, "I would never, Mother."

From his heart, he truly would never neglect his mother. He couldn’t understand why she would think this of him. Was it such a heinous thing to love a woman and marry her?

Qin Sisi and Ye You followed silently behind Zi Yu, looking at his desolate figure. Qin Sisi couldn’t help but sigh. She saw the pain within the Dark Witch. Had Zi Yu peacefully communicated with his mother, solemnly promising to protect, there might have been hope in acquiring the Life Divine Water.

However, expressing love for his mother after such fierce accusations indeed made trust difficult.

The Bearded Elf King, following behind Zi Yu just like Qin Sisi and the others, watched his figure and sighed helplessly, leaving in silence.

That night, a great wind rose in the Dark Forest, causing the branches to sway violently. Even though Zi Yu protected the phoenix tree with his magic power, he couldn’t prevent the blossoms from being blown away.

In the morning, Zi Yu stood beneath the phoenix tree, gazing painfully at the blossoms that had been blown off the night before. Now, there were only a few remaining on the branches.

When all the flowers fall, Ling Wu would never be able to regain her human form.

Zi Yu stood under the phoenix tree for a while, suddenly turned, and summoned a green floating cloud, riding it towards where the Dark Witch resided.

Qin Sisi and Ye You had slept on a large tree not far from the phoenix tree last night. Seeing Zi Yu leaving in a hurry, they quickly followed.

Zi Yu once again confronted the Dark Witch, landing at the edge of the grass from his green cloud and slowly walking towards her.

With that, he gently kissed the trunk, then turned and flew westward.

Ye You imdiately followed, flapping his magic wings. Qin Sisi, perched on his shoulder, asked softly, "Where is he going?"

Ye You paused and replied, "It should be the Forest of Death."

Yesterday, the Elf King had ntioned that to restore the Forest of Death, there are only two ways: either use the Life Divine Water or let Zi Yu sacrifice his life.
