Chapter 1326: Chapter 1326: No Absolute Fairness

The dimly lit submarine world, the silent surging of the seawater, carried the remnants of magical power spreading all around, causing the surrounding seaweed and rocks to drift chaotically in the water; all creatures scrambled in panic to avoid becoming collateral damage.

Qin Sisi, Xue Mo, and Zhuo Chen also sensed the turbulence in the water and the oppressive sensation that made it hard to breathe. Even though Ye You had deliberately drawn the battlefield to a more distant place, the stirring water still carried a life-and-death aura.

Qin Sisi fought through her physical discomfort, leaning on a massive rock beside her, striving to keep her eyes wide open in that direction. She could make out two blurry figures, one black and one white, sotis approaching each other, sotis retreating, as waves of shimring magical energy continually surged from their surroundings.

After a breathtaking battle, Hai Cangming was finally struck directly in the chest by a move called Phoenix Fire, collapsing in a disheveled state onto the rocks at the seabed, unable to rise again.

A dagger still protruded from his abdon, with only the handle visible.

In fact, Xue Mo had only caused him external injuries; if he pulled out the dagger and used his powerful magical abilities to cast a healing spell on himself, he could recover quickly.

But Ye You’s attacks ca like relentless waves, continuous and unceasing, leaving him no ti to heal his wounds, and he ultimately fell in defeat.

Hai Cangming lay flat on the hard rocks, his white clothes sowhat disheveled, resembling a silverfish on the brink of death, as bright red blood continually surged from his abdon, the strands of red drifting with the seawater into the distance.

Ye You swam slowly to his front and said in a somber voice, "I don’t want to kill you, I just want the Water of Life."

Hai Cangming turned his head and looked at Ye You with a complex expression, then lifted his eyes to gaze into the vast seawater, as if speaking to soone or muttering to himself, "Phoenix Superior God, your descendants have not disgraced you, they no longer need a guardian."

Ye You frowned slightly, and his voice softened a bit, "You shouldn’t belittle yourself, you were injured first; in a fair duel, I might not be your match."

A bleak smile appeared on Hai Cangming’s face, and he said in a low voice, "There is no such thing as absolute fairness and justice in the world, you won, I lost, that’s the fact."

"Do you know why you lost?" A clear voice ca from another direction, and Hai Cangming turned his head slightly to see Qin Sisi, part cat-headed and part fish-bodied.

"Why?" Hai Cangming’s tone was sowhat frivolous; even now, he did not regard this strange-looking, weak being seriously.

Qin Sisi was undeterred by his attitude and spoke slowly, "You lost, not because you are weak, but because you are too strong."

"Ha, ridiculous." Hai Cangming sneered, directing his gaze elsewhere, clearly not accepting her words at all.

Qin Sisi continued on her own, "When soone is too powerful, they tend to ignore the thoughts and needs of others, believing the world will perfectly align with their desires. Little do they know, water can carry a boat but also capsize it; if enough weaker beings unite, they can possess a power to destroy the world."

Hai Cangming’s expression finally turned serious; Qin Sisi was right, all these years, he indeed only focused on himself, ignoring other beings in the No Delusion Deep Sea.

Even when the offspring of the Phoenix Superior God and the Sage Ruler of the Demon Sacred Realm ca here, he didn’t pay them any heed.

In his heart, the No Delusion Deep Sea was his domain; he was the omnipotent Deity, and all other creatures should respect and obey him.

"If your relationship with the rmaid Tribe was still as good as it used to be, we probably couldn’t defeat you," Qin Sisi added.

Those words sent a stabbing pain through Hai Cangming’s heart. Yes, once his relationship with the rmaid Tribe was very strong; he helped them fend off those terrifying and fierce creatures, earning their deep admiration and gratitude.

When did it start to change?

Ah, it was when he imprisoned Xue Mo.

Thinking of Xue Mo, a fierce wave of pain surged within Hai Cangming once more, the overwhelming agony like irresistible tides, one wave receding only to make way for another.

He forcefully lifted his head to look in Xue Mo’s direction, only to see her nestled in Zhuo Chen’s embrace, gently wiping her tears, looking pitiful and lovely.

Xue Mo had never shown such an expression in front of him.

Following Hai Cangming’s gaze, Qin Sisi glanced at Xue Mo, then spoke plainly to him, "Do you think that because you hold a noble status, possess strong powers, and are handso, Xue Mo should fall for you, be devoted to you, or obey you unquestioningly?"

Hai Cangming furrowed his brow, a flash of anger appearing in his eyes, but upon reflecting, he realized this was indeed his previous mindset, causing him to slump back down; his anger transforming into lancholy.

"Why doesn’t she love ?" Perhaps stirred by Qin Sisi’s words, Hai Cangming asked a question that had puzzled him excessively.

Qin Sisi smiled, "This question has likely been asked by many people in the world, yet no one can provide an answer. She just doesn’t love you, regardless of who you are, for no reason at all."

Hai Cangming fell silent, maybe it’s true; no matter how powerful he is, there are ultimately things he cannot attain despite his best efforts.

His heart slowly sank, he looked at Xue Mo longingly one last ti, then turned to Qin Sisi, staring into her eyes as he asked, "Are you and Jiuxi Yeyou truly in love?"

Qin Sisi was montarily stunned; she exchanged a glance with Ye You, unable to speak, yet the bashful look in her eyes revealed everything.

Hai Cangming sneered coldly, shifting his gaze to Ye You with arrogance, "Jiuxi Yeyou, even if you’ve defeated , you might not necessarily get the Life Divine Water. If I choose not to give it to you and insist on preventing this loving couple from being together, what can you do to ?"

Qin Sisi was startled, for till now, they still didn’t know what the Life Divine Water was or where Hai Cangming hid it. If Hai Cangming resolutely refused to hand it over, what could they possibly do?

Ye You’s face darkened, like a sky brewing a storm, he replied coldly, "Then I will torture Xue Mo in front of you until you hand over the Life Divine Water."

"You dare!" Hai Cangming roared in fury, his handso face turning red; if he hadn’t been critically injured by Ye You, severely weakened, he would have imdiately stood to continue fighting Ye You.

"You can try." Ye You lifted his chin, his expression even more arrogant than Hai Cangming’s.

Hai Cangming was utterly provoked, shouting with all his might, "Do you believe I would die in front of you right now, leaving you with nothing?"
