Chapter 1291: Chapter 1291: Black Cat White Cat
Ye You ca to the dungeon to see the Fourth Heavenly Body, who had already been stripped of the Magic Source and cowered fearfully in the dungeon corner.
Seeing Ye You’s noble and imposing figure appear outside the steel bars, the Fourth Heavenly Body thought his end had co. Longing for life, he implored, "Sage Ruler, I am but a crippled man now. Please spare !"
Ye You stared at him deeply for a mont and asked in a low voice, "Do you know the Curse Charm?"
The Fourth Heavenly Body was taken aback, not expecting Ye You to ask such a question. After hesitating for a mont, he replied, "I know a little, but I’ve never used it on anyone. Please, Sage Ruler, discern the truth."
"No need, I trust you. Let’s make a deal: teach
the Curse Charm, and I’ll give you freedom," Ye You stated his purpose.
Upon hearing this, the Fourth Heavenly Body thought he had misheard. When Tian Xiaozi taught him the Curse Charm, he was reluctant to learn it. He thought if he loathed soone enough, why not kill them outright? Why use the Curse Charm!
But it was Tian Xiaozi’s order, and he dared not disobey. Having learned it, he never used it. Unexpectedly, in this dungeon, the Curse Charm he disdained beca his lifesaver.
Naturally, the Fourth Heavenly Body agreed to this deal eagerly and taught Ye You the incantations and techniques of the Curse Charm one by one.
Ye You, with his high magical talent, mastered it in just a few days.
Once Ye You fully learned the Curse Charm, he kept his promise and released the Fourth Heavenly Body from the dungeon. After all, he was now an ordinary man and could not stir up much trouble. Besides, Tian Xiaozi was dead, and most who followed him were driven by interest. Now that the tree has fallen, the monkeys scatter; it’s unlikely they would regroup.
Ye You himself already possessed the ability to transform into a cat, and now he and Qin Sisi were preparing to enter the Eastern Forbidden Unrestrained Deep Sea. He intended to use the Curse Charm to turn Qin Sisi into a cat as well.
Though he was proficient, he felt slightly nervous, for it was Qin Sisi he faced, and he couldn’t afford to make any mistakes.
Taking a deep breath, Ye You raised his palm to gather magic power. Qin Sisi bit her lip and suddenly asked, "Xiao Hei, after being hit by the Curse Charm, would only you becoming a Level Eight Alchemist be able to restore
to human form?"
Ye You nodded and said helplessly, "Yes, the person using the Curse Charm must be of a higher level than you for it to work. Only I am suitable, and the antidote must be of a level higher than the curse caster."
He was now a Level Seven Magic Emperor, so in the future, only a Level Eight Jade lting Pill could lift the curse on Qin Sisi. Currently, he was rely a sixth-level Alchemist, and there were no Level Eight Alchemists in the Demon Sacred Realm.
To beco a Level Eight Alchemist, he first needed to elevate his magic level to that of a Demon Lord and practice Alchemy for a long ti to have a chance.
Ye You knew Qin Sisi was worried, so he paused, gently embraced her, and comforted her softly, "Don’t worry; we’ll find a way. I’ll work hard to improve Alchemy, and in the future, I will surely beco a Level Eight Alchemist to lift your curse."
Suppressing the ache in her heart, Qin Sisi looked up and smiled at Ye You, saying, "I understand. It’s okay, go ahead, I can wait."
Master Yipiao spoke so fearfully of the Four Forbidden Zones that they couldn’t afford to have any slight false hope; they could only enter in cat form, or there would be no hope of survival.
The future was uncertain, life and death unclear, and they could only take one step at a ti for now.
If she could survive and be with Ye You, she would be content; waiting longer wouldn’t matter. She also believed that with Ye You’s talent and ability, he would eventually beco a Level Eight Alchemist.
Thinking this, much of her worry dissipated.
Qin Sisi’s gentle words ward Ye You’s heart. He hugged her tightly, then stepped back a few steps, saying loudly, "Get ready, I’m starting."
Qin Sisi nodded vigorously, sitting upright and holding her breath in concentration.
Ye You raised his palm again and gathered magic in his palm. With a push, a white light shot toward Qin Sisi.
The white light hit Qin Sisi’s body, and she let out a startled cry. Her body was enveloped in a silvery-white light, as if she were in a dense fog, the inside of which could not be clearly seen.
When the light faded, Qin Sisi was gone. In her place was a white cat, pure white without a single blemish, sitting quietly.
Ye You walked over and picked up the white cat, gently stroking her soft fur and smiling, "Quite pretty, much prettier than ."
"ow..." Qin Sisi opened her mouth to speak, only to realize she let out a ow, stunned for once.
Ye You smiled and said, "Say whatever you want, it’s okay, I understand."
Feeling anxious, Qin Sisi tried speaking in cat language. Ye You understood every word, and after realizing there was no communication barrier, she was at ease.
Ye You closed his eyes and let the magic flow freely. His body emitted a dark magic light, but he didn’t make a sound, enduring the discomfort.
When the light faded, the little black cat, familiar to Qin Sisi, appeared again.
A sense of long-lost joy surged up in Qin Sisi, and she leapt to Ye You’s side, touching her furry head against his.
Even in cat form, Ye You felt a thrill in his heart. He licked his tongue and snuggled closely with Qin Sisi.
Now they were both cats, a white cat and a black cat, a perfect pair.
The two cats snuggled together, curiously touching each other, sharing affection more intimately than in human form.
After a while, Ye You finally said softly, "Let’s go."
"Okay," Qin Sisi’s voice was light but resolute.
Ye You had Qin Sisi lie on his back, clutching tightly so as not to be separated by the swirling tides of the No Delusion Deep Sea.
Then, with a thought, he stored the Shadowless Aircraft into his Portable Space.
Without the flying device, the two cats appeared alone in mid-air, neither having conjured magic wings, their bodies rapidly falling due to gravity.
Qin Sisi clung tightly to Ye You’s body, burying her head in his dark fur. The weightless descent felt profoundly unsettling and terrifying.
"Splash," ca the sound of a heavy object hitting water.
On the deep blue sea, a small wave splashed up. The water surged a bit, and soon the wave disappeared, the sea returning to calm.
The sky was serene, the deep sea dark, and the two cats’ figures were nowhere to be seen.
