Chapter 1202: Chapter 1202: An Old Friend Arrives
Yi Rou told her father, Chi Xun, about her desire to accept Qin Sisi as a foster daughter, and Chi Xun was overjoyed almost to the point of disbelief.
Qin Sisi and Ye You are already engaged, and she will be the Queen of the Demon Sacred Realm in the future. Being the family of the Queen is a privilege that is hard to attain even after several lifetis.
The Qing Ming Family produced two queens, and the entire family’s ego is soaring.
Despite the excitent, Chi Xun is very clear-headed. A foster daughter is still not the sa as a daughter; only having a shared foundation of interests and goals can form a strong alliance.
Qin Sisi is Ye You’s fiancée and will naturally be loyal to him. The i Lan Family has firmly chosen Ye You over Tian Xiaozi, supporting him to beco the Sage Ruler, which is their current mutual goal.
Still, Chi Xun has quite a fondness for the well-behaved, sensible, low-key Qin Sisi and has his people present her with a heap of good things—rare supplents, luxurious decorations, dazzling jewelry, beautiful clothes...
Upon learning that Qin Sisi is a forging master, Chi Xun specially gifts her a substantial amount of deep sea ores excavated by ocean miners, for her to practice forging.
Miaoyin City, located along the coast and, apart from Seven Pearl City above the ocean, has the longest coastline. The adjacent seabed harbors rich mineral resources suitable for weapon crafting and magical defense equipnt.
Qin Sisi showed little interest in those items, but was pleasantly surprised by the deep sea ores, as she could now practice her forging techniques thoroughly.
In the trial tower, forging practice uses virtual materials provided by the tower, so there’s no concern about material limits, though the forged items are virtual and disappear after the trial ends.
In reality, practicing forging requires actual raw materials, and Qin Sisi happens to need forging items to exchange for spirit stones, which requires plenty of raw materials—the more, the better. The deep sea ores sent by Clan Leader Chi Xun could not have been more tily.
Seeing Qin Sisi quite satisfied, Chi Xun feels happy too.
The entire i Lan Family begins to busy themselves with preparations for the upcoming wedding celebration and the foster daughter ceremony, sending invitations to the other Seven Major Families. Miaoyin City is steeped in a joyful atmosphere.
Yi Rou, who is sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, after deliberately separating Ye You and Qin Sisi for a few days, orders the arrangent of a quiet and beautiful courtyard, which is soon ready. Yi Rou then allows Ye You and Qin Sisi to move in, and requests her father to station several trustworthy guards outside.
That night, Qin Sisi and Ye You finally sleep in the sa bed again.
Having been apart for a while, Qin Sisi feels a bit nervous, and true to her expectations, as soon as she lies down, Ye You entwines himself around her.
"How many tis?" Ye You murmurs at her ear, his warm breath sending tingles through her.
"What?" Qin Sisi is sowhat puzzled.
Ye You lifts his head, gazing deeply at her with a slightly husky voice, "How many tis will you accompany
tonight?"
Qin Sisi blushes crimson, biting her lip as she turns her face away.
Ye You sighs softly and asks, "How long has it been since we’ve been together?"
Qin Sisi thinks for a mont. Ever since they parted ways on the journey to the Taiyi Mountain Base, she visited Seven Pearl City, then Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, finally arriving at Miaoyin City. Counting the hundredfold ti in the trial tower, they’ve been apart for almost half a year.
Qin Sisi’s hand gently covers Ye You’s cheek; the separation has indeed been lengthy. She manages, but Ye You seems to have reached his limit.
"Sisi, accompany ." Ye You’s breath quickens as he tears off Qin Sisi’s clothes...
Having been tornted all night, Qin Sisi’s body feels as soft as cotton. Curling up in Ye You’s arms, she closes her eyes and falls into a deep slumber in the next mont.
It is well past noon before Qin Sisi slowly opens her eyes, and looking at the unfamiliar room, she realizes she just changed her residence the previous day.
There’s still an enchanting aroma lingering in the air, seemingly slightly sweet; however, Ye You is already gone.
Qin Sisi gets out of bed, tidies the room, and asks outside, learning from the guards that Ye You went out with Clan Leader Chi Xun.
A servant brings Qin Sisi a delicious al and conveys a ssage: Wen Xuan has co looking for her twice today.
"Wen Xuan? He’s back?" Qin Sisi is pleasantly surprised.
After graduating, Wen Xuan stayed with the i Lan Family to help Clan Leader Chi Xun manage Miaoyin City. Qin Sisi initially intended to catch up with Wen Xuan, but he was sent away on a mission and was not in the Chief Mansion when she arrived.
The servant respectfully replies, "Yes, Young Master Wen Xuan returned last night."
Qin Sisi nods, "Alright, I’ll go find him after I finish eating."
The servant continues, "Young Master Wen Xuan said it’s not necessary; just notify him once you’re awake, and he’ll co to see you."
Qin Sisi thinks for a mont; Wen Xuan has always been courteous, so she asks the servant to notify Wen Xuan to co over for a chat.
She has just finished eating when Wen Xuan arrives, still in white robes, with a gentle smile and an elegant poise like jade.
The two share a smile, and familiar feelings arise naturally, as if they are still in the tis of old, never separated.
Qin Sisi invites Wen Xuan to sit and he, being unpretentious, takes a seat opposite her. He glances at the spacious bed, a mischievous smile on his lips, "I rember you used to wake up quite early. Why are you so lazy now? Or did you not sleep well last night?"
Qin Sisi blushes and glares at him, "Why are you teasing people now?"
Wen Xuan chuckles, pats Qin Sisi’s head, and sighs, "My little junior has grown up."
Though Wen Xuan has a great relationship with Qin Sisi, deeply admiring her strength and perseverance, he has always doubted her becoming Queen.
But now, he knows there’s no need to doubt anymore because Qin Sisi has already achieved it.
Now, in Midair City and Seven Pearl City, legends about the Queen are spreading.
Midair City portrays her as a gentle, rciful fairy, soaring across the skies, summoning clouds and rain, bringing life-saving rainwater to the drought-stricken city.
Seven Pearl City depicts her as a mighty, commanding hero, stirring vast waves, punishing traitors and rebels, initiating change in the Zhulu family, revitalizing Seven Pearl City anew.
Of course, voices of opposition and ridicule also exist, but compared to the praise and admiration they are negligible.
