Chapter 1127: Chapter 1127: Lifting the Seal

Gong Zhuo spoke up to this point, and everyone’s gaze fell on Ah Xia.

Ah Xia had once said he had no parents, that his grandfather had raised him since he was young, so there wasn’t much doubt left.

Ah Xia was indeed the child the four grand elders risked their lives to take away, the child of i Ji’s sister, Liang Han.

Even Ah Xia himself was stunned. He had always thought he was just an ordinary child living in the remote outer town of Midair City. Never had he associated himself with such a lofty identity and twisted, tragic lineage.

Qin Sisi looked at Ah Xia with compassion and confird with Gong Zhuo, "Liang Han’s child, that’s Ah Xia?"

Gong Zhuo looked at Ah Xia with pity, his trembling hand gently stroking Ah Xia’s head. His cloudy eyes glistened slightly, and he nodded slowly, replying, "Yes, Ah Xia is that child."

Even though they’d already suspected it deep in their hearts, hearing Gong Zhuo formally state the truth still left everyone shaken.

Gong Zhuo let out a long sigh, his hoarse voice continuing, "Ah Xia’s original na was Xia Long. He was born in the sumrti, and his father excelled at Music Magic, so he chose the na ’Long’ for him. But I feared the na might bring calamity, so I only ever called him Ah Xia."

Ah Xia clutched Gong Zhuo’s hand, tears streaming down his face as he asked, "Grandfather, is everything you’ve said true?"

Gong Zhuo gently patted his back and said affectionately, "Child, I know this is unbearably cruel for you. All these years, I’ve endured humiliation and survival for the single hope that you could grow up well and seize the chance to return to the Chief Mansion to avenge your parents."

Ah Xia’s gaze turned doubtful. i Ji was a Magic God, but he was just a Mage. The Magic God was an opponent he couldn’t possibly defeat—what claim did he have to seek vengeance?

Gong Zhuo noticed Ah Xia’s confusion. He lifted his head to Ye You, pleading, "Your Royal Highness, my Magic Source is destroyed. I hope you can lift the seal on Ah Xia and awaken the Wind Attribute Magic in him. He is a direct descendant of the Changkong family; once his Wind Magic is activated, his combat power will greatly improve."

Ye You hesitated for a mont and did not imdiately respond.

Lifting the seal for Ah Xia was a minor effort, but the prerequisite was that both Ah Xia and Gong Zhuo must be loyal to him. Otherwise, wouldn’t he be laying a trap for himself?

Having lived for seventy or eighty years, Gong Zhuo was adept at reading people’s hearts. Seeing Ye You’s hesitation, he quickly knelt down again, earnestly saying, "Your Royal Highness, as long as you help Ah Xia lift the seal, we will dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to serving you in the future."

Ye You glanced at Gong Zhuo, then shifted his gaze to Ah Xia and said solemnly, "I need your verbal promise."

Ah Xia opened his mouth but didn’t speak, hesitation evident on his face.

His eyes were red, his emotions still reeling from the shock of learning his lineage. To go from being a common child in a desolate outskirts to the heir of the Changkong family seed like a blessing, but this so-called blessing was fraught with violence, bloodshed, and tangled grievances.

Qin Sisi glanced at Ye You, then at Ah Xia, and ultimately said nothing.

She wasn’t skilled at politics, and Ye You undoubtedly had his own considerations she didn’t want to disrupt.

After a long pause, Ah Xia turned to Gong Zhuo and choked out, "Grandfather, were my father and mother really killed by i Ji?"

Gong Zhuo straightened his back and declared firmly, "I swear by the mory of my three deceased brothers, every word I’ve spoken is the absolute truth."

Ah Xia clenched his fists in indignation, his gaze growing resolute.

Qin Sisi thought for a mont and said gently, "Ah Xia, if you’d rather live as an ordinary person like before, none of us will force you. We will avenge your parents on your behalf."

Gong Zhuo wasn’t very pleased with Qin Sisi’s words, initially wanting to refute her. But then, seeing the distress in Ah Xia’s expression, he sighed and held his tongue.

Ah Xia fell silent for a mont, then shook his head, saying, "Thank you, Master Fairy, but I don’t think I should shirk my responsibility. If destiny has given

this identity, I must embrace it."

"Good, good child." Gong Zhuo gazed at Ah Xia with joy, the wrinkles on his face deepening.

Qin Sisi, however, felt a sense of sorrow. Once the seal was lifted, Ah Xia would beco much stronger, but he would never again be as carefree as he once was.

Ah Xia stood up first and dutifully bowed to Ye You. In a clear voice, he proclaid, "I, Xia Long, request His Royal Highness to lift my seal. From this day forward, I pledge unwavering loyalty to His Royal Highness and the Jiuxi Royal Family."

Ye You nodded slightly and said, "Alright, I’ll trust you. But please rember every word you’ve said today."

With that, Ye You extended his right hand, placing it upon Ah Xia’s forehead and channeling a stream of magic power into his body, approaching his Magic Source.

Soon, Ye You found Ah Xia’s Magic Source.

Within the slowly rotating white mist lay three Magic Crystal Cores: a black core representing Golden Magic, a green core representing Wood Magic, and a purple core representing Music Magic.

At the position where the Wind Magic Crystal Core should have been was dense mist, as though Wind Attribute Magic had never been activated. Yet Ye You knew that Ah Xia had been born possessing the Wind Magic Crystal Core.

Using the magic power he had sent into Ah Xia’s body, Ye You stirred the mist surrounding the Wind Magic Crystal Core’s location. Gradually clearing the mist with his magic power, a faintly discernible core began to erge.

Ye You felt relieved and imdiately intensified the release of his magic power, channeling more into lifting the seal for Ah Xia.

Half an hour later, the mist in that area finally dispersed entirely. A crystal core that glead with sky-blue light suddenly illuminated like a shimring star, enriching Ah Xia’s Magic Source.

The seal was lifted, and Ah Xia’s Wind Magic was restored.

Ah Xia sat cross-legged, calming his mind to probe his Magic Source. Seeing the core glowing with blue light, his heart was filled with excitent.

It turned out the hope of becoming powerful wasn’t so distant after all.

Ah Xia thanked Ye You once again, reiterating his pledge of loyalty.

At last, he glanced at Qin Sisi, his expression complex, and said, "I wish His Royal Highness and Master Fairy an eternal union of happiness."

Though he had only recently t them, the glances and gestures exchanged between lovers were never entirely hidden, and Ah Xia had already discerned the extraordinary relationship between Ye You and Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi was the fairy in his heart. For Ah Xia, only the most noble and powerful man in the Demon Sacred Realm could deserve her. Since there was such a man to care for and cherish her, what more could he worry about?

Qin Sisi heard Ah Xia’s blessing, looked at him with a faint smile, and softly said, "Thank you."
