Chapter 1030: Chapter 1030: The Wedding
After the flying device arrived at Biyun City, Qin Sisi and Xiao ng disembarked, with Xiao ng planning to directly head ho while Qin Sisi intended to go to Hong Fu Tang to wait for Ye You, and thus they parted ways.
Before Qin Sisi even reached Hong Fu Tang, a carriage blocked her path and a deep voice arose from inside: "Get in."
This voice was the very one Qin Sisi had been yearning for day and night, impossible to ever forget; even without seeing the person, her heart couldn’t help but race.
She hopped onto the carriage, pulled back the door curtain, and sat down, just to be imdiately embraced within a warm hug.
Close to her ear was the clear and forceful heartbeat of Ye You, and above her head was his slightly heavy breathing; his arms encircled her tightly, as if to ld her into his body.
Qin Sisi closed her eyes, quietly accepting Ye You’s hugs and kisses.
Three months ago, they had a hurried eting, followed by a long separation, a tornt indescribably torturous for both, but luckily, such days were soon to end.
After one final term, Qin Sisi would graduate from Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, and then she could stay beside Ye You.
"I’m now a Magic Star," said Qin Sisi, lifting her head and speaking to Ye You with a bit of excitent.
Ye You’s fingers traced her cheek as he said softly, "Congratulations. I actually guessed as much; I knew you could do it."
To Qin Sisi, Ye You’s acknowledgnt and encouragent were her greatest strengths. Whenever she felt overwhelmingly exhausted or worn out, the recollection of Ye You’s words and actions made all she endured seem worthwhile.
In the month of holiday, the two continued to be as sweet as honey, enjoying their affectionate and cozy ti. Of course, they did not overlook important matters, as every day they would venture deep into the Dream Forest to hunt Demonic Beasts, both to collect Magic Crystal Stones and to accumulate actual combat experience.
Ye You, now a High-level Magic Spirit, had battled Fifth Order Demonic Beasts for more than two years and was entirely confident. Each combat was like a fish in water for him, effortlessly achieving victory.
This ti, however, Qin Sisi found it quite rough. Previously, she fought Third Order Demonic Beasts, but with her upgrade to Magic Star, she now had to try her hand at fighting Fourth Order Demonic Beasts.
The difference of one order was like a vast chasm.
In each battle, Qin Sisi had to give her all, utilizing every last trick in the book to even stand a chance at victory, and that was with Ye You providing backup.
If she were alone, without any backup or reinforcents, panic could easily lead to a disastrous and ignominious defeat.
Moreover, her weapon, the Moon Spirit Golden Feather, was three-and-a-half stars. As Ye You was a Third Level Forgemaster, that was the best he could forge, and at that ti Qin Sisi, rely a Low-Level Magic Instructor, found it sufficient.
But now things were different. She had beco a Fourth Level Magic Star set to battle Fourth Order Demonic Beasts, and her three-and-a-half-star weapon seed sowhat insufficient.
During a month’s ti, each day was a struggle against Demonic Beasts. Qin Sisi’s win rate was fifty percent; the rest of the victories ca with Ye You’s assistance.
Qin Sisi harvested quite a few Magic Crystal Stones. After absorbing the Magic Energy within them, her magic power increased accordingly, as did her accumulation of real combat experience.
The only regret she felt was that her Moon Spirit Golden Feather was nearly worn out; its golden feathers had fallen off in significant number, and its brilliance had dimd compared to before.
Qin Sisi was very fond of this weapon, gifted by Ye You. Every ti she fought her enemies, the brilliant, glass-like golden light felt like bright sparks protecting her, giving her more courage to face the dangers before her.
Ye You comforted her, saying, "If you really can’t bear to part with it, I’ll talk to Master Udo and ask him to forge an identical one for you."
"But it won’t be this one anymore!" Qin Sisi looked at the Moon Spirit Golden Feather with affection, carefully placing it into her storage ring.
Ye You glanced at her but didn’t say much more.
A month passed quickly, and the two of them experienced many reunions and separations, gradually becoming sowhat immune to the farewells. Yet, thinking that they could be together every day in five months’ ti made them much happier.
When Qin Sisi bid farewell to Ye You and took a flying device back to Scholar City with Xiao ng, she didn’t see Master Shuoyu on the flying device. She wondered if his thoughts had changed after what she had said to him.
While Qin Sisi was browsing the VIP market, she saw Yan Fei. Out of curiosity, she asked about Master Shuoyu’s situation, but Yan Fei couldn’t give a clear answer. He had not co with the flying device this ti, saying he had very important things to do.
Qin Sisi, puzzled, left the flying device together with Xiao ng in Scholar City. It was only upon arriving at the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle that they learned sothing big had happened.
The Heavenly Magic God’s Castle was holding a wedding, the bride was Teacher Ru Lin, and the groom was none other than Master Shuoyu.
It was said that Master Shuoyu had personally bought nine sets of bright red bridal attire, using his forging skills to make each piece waterproof and fireproof, impervious to slashing swords and cleaving blades. He also crafted nine sets of bridal headwear, extravagantly luxurious and exquisitely beautiful.
The double nines represented Master Shuoyu’s wish for an everlasting bond with Ru Lin.
Upon hearing this news, Qin Sisi and Xiao ng stared at each other, speechless. After pondering, Xiao ng comnted, "Sister Sisi, it seems you really persuaded Master Shuoyu."
Qin Sisi paused before replying, "They were already in love with each other; I rely pointed out the obvious to those involved."
Qin Sisi felt that her words at that ti were not spoken in vain as they helped Master Shuoyu open his heart and bravely face his feelings for Teacher Ru Lin. Indeed, their deep bond and devotion to each other allowed for such a swift wedding to take place.
As the greatest forging master of the Demon Sacred Realm, Master Shuoyu was certainly not short on money. The red ’happiness’ envelopes he handed out were countless, each containing a high-quality spirit stone, showing his generosity and exceptional mood.
Qin Sisi and Xiao ng also joined in the festivities, each taking a happiness envelope, their spirits high.
As they left, Qin Sisi glanced back at the newlyweds in the middle - Shuoyu in white and Ru Lin in green, both donned in red wedding attire today, newly-weds in the flush of happiness, radiant and joyous.
Their smiles were bright and sincere, their gazes tender and sweet. Shuoyu’s hand, when not busy, constantly held Ru Lin’s, as if afraid she would run away.
So, they must be happy, right? Although happiness arrived a bit late, it was fortunate that it ca at all.
As night deepened and guests dispersed, Ru Lin removed those dazzling ornants and shyly glanced at the burning gaze of Shuoyu.
When he asked her to marry him, she did hesitate for a mont, not unwilling but harboring much pent-up grievances. If he held her in his heart, how could he bear making her wait for so many years?
She wanted to pretend to be cool or reserved, to make him anxious, but seeing his eyes filled with imnse nervousness, all her coolness and reserve turned into one word: "Yes."
