Chapter 1024: Chapter 1024: Each Other’s Bright Moonlight

Ru Lin was five years younger than Shuo Yu, a little girl with pigtails back then. She was a distant relative in the Clan Leader’s lineage of the Muyin family and, due to her excellent magic talents, was raised in the Chief Mansion, learning magic knowledge and practicing magic skills alongside a few other selected children.

It was in this way that Shuo Yu t Ru Lin, the girl who spoke little yet often smiled, becoming the most splendid ray of sunshine in his lonely life.

Later, Ru Lin went to study at the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle. Shuo Yu wasn’t in good health, and by rights, shouldn’t have been able to enter the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle. However, his father, the old Clan Leader of the Jin Gang family, pleaded for a long ti before the Headmaster of the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle made an exception and allowed Shuo Yu to join.

Nevertheless, his physical condition did not permit him to train in the sa way as others. He didn’t attend all the magic courses like others, focusing mainly on Gold Attribute Magic and Fire Attribute Magic, as well as on forging.

Shuo Yu indeed did not disappoint those who valued him. Even though his other magic skills were weak, he was the best in his class in both Golden Magic and Fire Magic, and his forging skills were nothing less than impressive.

As Shuo Yu’s classmate and childhood friend, Ru Lin took great care of Shuo Yu in both studies and daily life. Spending day and night together, affection grew over ti.

Shuo Yu was quiet and reserved by nature, never expressing much. Thus, Ru Lin thought she was the first to have feelings, not knowing that, many years ago, long before she understood what affection was, she had already beco Shuo Yu’s eternal cherished love.

Then, Shuo Yu beca Ru Lin’s cherished love. No matter how she hinted, he would always pretend not to understand, his smile tinged with a faint distance.

Ti flew by, and their studies at Heavenly Magic God’s Castle soon ended. Ru Lin began outdoor expeditions to enhance her magic power.

Before she left, she invited Shuo Yu to join her, but knowing his limited mobility and unwilling to hold Ru Lin back, he declined her invitation. Ru Lin left, feeling downcast.

Shuo Yu returned to the Jin Gang family’s Daye City, spending days at ho relentlessly practicing his forging skills, forgetting both sleep and food.

In the blink of an eye, many more years passed. Ru Lin beca a Wood Magic teacher at Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, and Shuo Yu beca a renowned genius forgemaster in the Demon Sacred Realm, with seemingly no interaction between the two.

Yet, every once in a while, Shuo Yu would visit Ru Lin, always bringing many finely-crafted gifts for her; nearly all her clothing and jewelry were gifts from Shuo Yu.

After Shuo Yu learned to make small flying devices, he wanted to give Ru Lin one, but she refused.

Such a gift was too valuable. Ru Lin knew that her relationship with Shuo Yu was only that of ordinary friends; she was not entitled to accept such a dear gift, and moreover, her deanor steadfastly reflected the Muyin family’s humble and reserved character.

With each eting, the surging affection could not be repressed, even with great effort. The mouth can lie, but the eyes cannot.

Ru Lin gradually perceived that Shuo Yu indeed had feelings for her. She was overjoyed, responding more passionately. Yet, Shuo Yu would turn cold and hot unpredictably, always keeping his distance.

Day after day, year after year, there seed to be a story between them, yet there seed to be none; one would not marry, the other would not wed, one was self-deprecating, and the other was holding a grudge.

As ti passed, even Ru Lin herself no longer knew whether, in this long life, there would ever be a conclusion.

Nonetheless, that man in white as pure as snow, like the bright moonlight in the cold, deep night, once seen, her world could no longer dawn.

Shuo Yu ca and went in a hurry, leaving Ru Lin feeling utterly lost. Qin Sisi and Xiao ng cleaned up Tianmu Mountain and wanted to bid farewell to Teacher Ru Lin, but the servants advised them not to, and guessing why, they left Tianmu Mountain directly.

By the ti evening arrived, Xiao ng tidied up and went out to et with Yun Cheng. The young couple hadn’t seen each other in a month and surely had a lot to talk about.

Qin Sisi, on the other hand, stayed in her room. She first spent so ti missing Ye You, then took out the Jiu Hua Divine Cauldron to begin practicing her forging skills.

Ti truly flies. A new sester has started, and tomorrow she will enter into the strenuous process of learning once again, practicing one magic skill after another, keeping busy until losing track of day and night.

While imrsed in it, it always feels too hard and too tiring, enduring only for the sake of a better harvest.

However, many years later, when Qin Sisi recalls her life after arriving in the Demon Sacred Realm, she realizes the ti spent studying at Heavenly Magic God’s Castle was the most innocent and joyous.

Although it was tough, she felt lighthearted. The teachers, although strict, ultimately just wanted them to learn better.

The students competed with each other, but this competition was just on the surface. Everyone understood clearly that no one would be tripping others up behind the scenes.

Ya Ling’s personality hadn’t changed much, she still sneered and mocked Qin Sisi and Xiao ng at every opportunity; Xiao ng gradually found it boring and, following Qin Sisi’s lead, learned to ignore her, rendering Ya Ling’s words powerless against them.

The only change was that the number of people in the class went from nine to eight.

The unfortunate Chu Ming was lucky enough to get a chance to enter Heavenly Magic God’s Castle but then unluckily caught the attention of Tian Xiaozi, becoming the victim in his assassination plot.

The second sester’s curriculum was similar to the first, studying twelve types of magic in succession, balanced training, each one with its particular requirents.

Five months flew by quickly, during which Ye You visited her once. Knowing that Ye You also needed ti for serious practice, Qin Sisi asked him not to co to see her again until the holidays when they could be together.

Though reluctant, Ye You knew Qin Sisi was right. They both needed to focus more on their magic practice; Tian Xiaozi had been complacent for far too long.

Ye You left Qin Sisi enough Magic Crystal Stones and elixirs and shared his insights from magic practice with her. With Ye You’s help, her magic power improved rapidly, changing day by day, of course, this was also inseparable from her own efforts.

If Qin Sisi’s first place in the first end-of-term assessnt had an elent of luck, then her first place in the second assessnt was the best proof of her strength, even Teacher Yusha couldn’t help but see her in a new light.

At the end of this sester, it was the hot sumr, and forests in the north were also filled with lush greenery, brimming with life.

Ye You took Qin Sisi to stay for a month in the Biyuan Forest at the border of Scholar City and Miaoyin City. When they found the practice of magic too monotonous, they went to Miaoyin City for a two-day visit.

The architecture filled with artistic atmosphere, the beautiful music that could be heard everywhere, and the warm and talented dancers and singers left a deep impression on Qin Sisi.
