In ancient tis, n would draw their wives’ eyebrows as a gesture of love. Such intimate grooming monts between couples always add a touch of warmth.

It was the sa for Natalie Vaughn and Zane Thorne, an unmarried couple.

Moreover, in one day, they would go to the civil affairs bureau, receive their marriage certificate, and beco a true married couple.

Upon hearing this, Zane raised his eyebrows.

Zane is soone who can get by roughly, as he endures flying dust when racing, living with unkempt looks for the sake of it.

But to say he is particular isn’t untrue either. In terms of clothing, although unintentional, it’s clear he puts thought into it.

One could say his ticulousness is quite casual.

If he wasn’t particular, why would he visit a stylist to tidy up the break in his eyebrow after getting a buzz cut?

Of course, he leaves these tasks to his stylist, sparing himself the hassle.

He didn’t expect Natalie would want to do this.

"Sure."

His quick agreent surprised Natalie a little.

"Aren’t you afraid I’ll ruin them?"

Zane let out a short laugh.

"Will you?"

Natalie raised her eyebrows slightly, blinked, and feigned mystery.

"Who knows? I’ve never grood anyone’s eyebrows before."

Not just others, even grooming her own eyebrows was a rare occurrence for Natalie.

Firstly, her eyebrow shape was beautiful and behaved well, rarely needing maintenance. Secondly, even when they did need attention, the Vaughn Family’s young lady would hire a stylist for it.

Zane didn’t mind at all. Once Natalie’s hair was nearly dry, he put the hairdryer aside and leaned on the vanity table.

With his tall stature and long legs, the vanity being not too high, he had nowhere to put his long legs.

"If you want to do it, then do it."

He spoke nonchalantly.

This behavior could be said to pamper Natalie, or it could reflect his utter confidence in his face, unafraid of Natalie ruining his eyebrows.

Regardless of the aning, Natalie was beyond delighted.

She loved Zane’s confident and composed deanor.

With this thought, Natalie imdiately got up and pressed him into a chair.

This chair, paired with the vanity table, wasn’t very big. Zane sat on it sowhat restrained, his long legs sprawled open.

When Natalie bent over to groom Zane’s eyebrows, she realized how odd their position was.

Behind her was the vanity, in front of her was Zane, and she was enveloped by Zane’s legs. That wasn’t the main issue, but that she willingly entered this circle.

It felt like she stepped into Zane’s territory, into his snare.

This realization brought a slight warmth to Natalie’s face.

For once, she stood taller than Zane, looked down at him, and found the sa casual expression on his face, his lips and eyes tinged with a smile.

In this stance, he still held control.

Seeing Natalie in a daze, Zane raised his eyebrows.

"Scared?"

Natalie snapped back, glaring at him.

"Who says I’m scared."

With that, she placed her left hand on Zane’s face, raised her right hand, and began trimming.

It wasn’t excessively ssy, just that the portion previously shaved had grown out a bit.

Brow grooming has, since ancient tis, been deed an intimate act for a reason. Proper grooming requires proximity.

More than just close, extrely close.

So close that even soone as bold as Natalie held her breath.

Yet, the Zane underneath her showed no restraint, even seed a bit indulgent. Natalie distinctly felt his breath.

After bathing, he carried the sa shower gel scent as hers, but male hormones transford the familiar scent.

Indescribable; Natalie could only think of one word.

Bewitched.

With every rise and fall, it was too alluring.

Natalie’s hand trembled but, quick to react, avoided drawing blood.

Afraid of hurting Zane, she instinctively looked into his eyes, where even more mirth lingered.

Now she couldn’t tell if she had hurt him.

True, the day he took a blow for her, he showed no sign of pain on his face.

For Natalie, Zane’s eyes, his breaths, and the subtle warmth radiating from his body, were all tempting.

Swallowing hard, Natalie suppressed her heated thoughts and finished grooming both eyebrows.

Without worrying about how well she did, she placed the eyebrow trimr on the vanity behind her, with one hand resting on Zane’s forehead and the other supporting his shoulder.

One hand firm, the other warm.

Eyelashes trembling slightly, Natalie overca all reason, leaned down, and planted a kiss on the break in his brows she had just grood.

The mirth in Zane’s eyes vanished, turning dark and deep. He reached out to gently embrace Natalie, steadying her.

"What are you doing?"

He didn’t smoke, but his voice was as if he had a pack.

Incredibly hoarse.

Natalie’s eyelids fluttered, slightly retreating.

She didn’t even understand why she did such a thing, rely obeying her heart. She thought Zane would pull her in for a kiss, but he didn’t.

He was holding back.

Natalie could no longer think, giving a perfect excuse.

"Stamping my work."

Zane seed to chuckle, or maybe he didn’t.

He grasped Natalie’s gaze, seeing the gleam in her eyes, and a desire hidden so deep even Natalie hadn’t noticed.

She was too cheeky, but reluctant to take responsibility.

Ultimately, any trouble would fall on him.

If he let things unfold, he wouldn’t be able to stop.

It wasn’t a question of want but of can.

So Zane wrapped an arm around Natalie’s waist, lifting her aside with ease, then stood up, glancing casually in the mirror.

"Not bad."

With that, he walked straight out of the room.

Natalie: ??????

What just happened?

Was Zane’s reaction really like that???!!!

Natalie was stunned, utterly dazed.

It took her a good while to co back to her senses.

So Zane had no response to her initiative?

Impossible?!

The last ti in the car, she had no intention, yet he kissed her fiercely. He’s entirely carnivorous; even earlier downstairs, he reacted intensely. Had she not escaped quickly, who knows what might have happened.

How, in less than half an hour, did he suddenly change?

Natalie couldn’t make sense of it, nor would she think that the seemingly unfazed Zane was downstairs, guzzling bottle after bottle of cold water.

After a while, Natalie cald down too.

Just now...

She was indeed too bold, even having genuine thoughts for a mont of indulging with this man.

Fortunately, Zane didn’t respond.

Otherwise...

She didn’t know what would have happened.
