Felix Langdon never doubted Zane Thorne’s charm, nor did he ever doubt Natalie Vaughn’s allure. He believed that the two would inevitably fall in love with each other.
When exactly? Perhaps it was when Zane got back into racing because of Natalie, or maybe it was that day at the mountaintop when Zane opened the car door for her.
He was well aware of Zane’s character; he wouldn’t do anything insincere or false due to so-called family background or pressure.

"Are you talking about the Dragon’s Crest Villa designed by Carter Chapman? Zane already took you there? So, there are actually things planted in the backyard."

It seed Felix truly didn’t know.
"Yes, I went. Is there a problem?"
Felix:....
"No... no problem."
What problem could there be? It’s just that for them, his group of friends, to go over there, they had to ask Zane several tis, and only when he was in a good mood would he agree. As for the backyard? He never allowed them to look at it.

"He said it was for a little girl who’s very important to him."
Felix imdiately protested.
"Impossible!"
Natalie raised an eyebrow slightly, indicating for Felix to continue.
"I’ve known Zane since we were kids, and I know everyone he knows. What nonsense little girl? From childhood till now, I’ve never seen him show a kind face to a woman. Soone like him would plant sunflowers for a little girl? He would never do sothing so cheesy!"
Natalie nodded, her fingers lightly tapping her chin.
"But there really is a large field of sunflowers in his backyard, which I observed to be managed by special staff, and professional equipnt seems to be in use, blooming all year round."
Felix:...
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Could it be that Zane himself likes sunflowers?"

But he’d never heard of any cousin that Zane particularly doted on; in fact, he was always complaining about them being chatty and annoying.

Phoebe Quinn quickly returned Natalie’s ssage, but from the two photos Felix brought, Phoebe couldn’t find a resemblance between Vera Underwood and this "Vivi."
However, Natalie’s reaction that day made Phoebe fixate on the matter.
"She’s been through a lot in Veridia these past years, so it’s natural if her appearance has changed. What’s going on with Felix? Didn’t he get soone to take current photos of her?"
"He was in a hurry; he just ca by to find Quinn Langley and happened to give the information."

"Why thank ? And then? If she really is Vera Underwood, what will you do?"
Natalie was silent for a while, recalling the unusual look in Vivi’s eyes when she saw her.
"Do you think she might know ? Know I’m Zane’s wife?"
"Could she? From the news? But the GN press conference didn’t ntion you. She couldn’t have seen you; you only arrived in Veridia recently. How would she know this?"
Natalie furrowed her brows in thought.
"No, there’s another possibility."
"Hmm?"
"The first ti I saved her, Zane ca later."
Thinking back, after Zane arrived, Vivi kept her head down. At the ti, I simply thought it was because she was ashad and didn’t want to show her face.
But if she really is Vera Underwood, that would make sense.
As the fiancée of Gideon Sheffield, Vera would naturally know Zane.
The more she thought about it, the more Natalie felt it was possible.
