Leng Jian’s eyes flickered slightly, "Are you planning to completely terminate this project, or do you have other ideas?"
"Do you want to change the track and start over?" Qin Nanyu picked up where Leng Jian left off and asked more directly.
Ji Weitian’s eyes lit up, and she first patted Leng Jian on the shoulder, praising, "No wonder you’re my long-ti partner, you imdiately noticed the little plans in my heart."
Then she turned around and hugged Qin Nanyu, looking up, "No wonder you’re the man I chose, you get !"
Leng Jian: "..."
Qin Nanyu: "..."
A sly gleam flashed in Ji Weitian’s eyes, and without continuing to tease, she said directly, "Since we all feel that continuing along this path can no longer surpass Re Group, then why continue down it?"
"..."
"Re Group’s project and direction align with ours, and they are indeed ahead of us, but no one ever said there’s only one road to Ro. On the contrary, all roads lead to Ro!"
"But changing the track and starting over is not an easy task." Leng Jian looked down at the data on the computer screen that he had just analyzed and fell into deep thought.
There were only three people present, but the three of them were all remarkable figures.
None of them were afraid of change, but was change really useful?
Changing the track now ant all the early efforts of their laboratory would be invalidated and have to start over.
Whether they could eventually succeed wasn’t the imdiate concern, changing direction was already an unknown!
"It is very difficult, and right now I only have an idea. I can’t provide a concrete new research direction for the project, so I can only ask the lab colleagues to pause the experint. I need ti." Ji Weitian answered Leng Jian’s question but looked at Qin Nanyu.
This project belonged to Qin Technology Group. Whatever changes she wanted to make, she needed Qin Nanyu’s agreent.
If Qin Nanyu did not agree with her judgnt, then nothing she thought of mattered.
Qin Nanyu only thought for a mont before reaching out to touch her head, "Do what you want to do, I’ll back you up at the group."
With Qin Nanyu’s approval, Ji Weitian imdiately asked Song Shu to notify the laboratory, telling everyone to stop their work and enter vacation mode, with no ti limit on the vacation, resuming only upon notice.
"I’ll help you gather more information in this area to see if we can find a new experintal direction in a short ti." Leng Jian, well aware that he wasn’t on the vacation list, voluntarily offered to share the workload.
Ji Weitian smiled genuinely, sincerely thanked him, and then continued, "We’ve been working overti for days. If I don’t get so sunlight, I’m afraid I might grow mold. Let’s call it a day."
Leng Jian considered it; he hadn’t seen Zhang Lingying in several days and nodded, "Then I’ll head off, contact if anything cos up."
"Hey, aren’t you going to have dinner with us before leaving?" Ji Weitian teased, noticing his eagerness.
To soone unaware, it would seem he was in love, rushing ho eagerly.
Leng Jian didn’t elaborate further, just walked out while Qin Nanyu’s words about backing Ji Weitian echoed in his ears.
Ji Weitian’s decision was abrupt and bold, even slightly unbelievable to him, yet Qin Nanyu agreed almost without consideration.
Leng Jian had long known that Ji Weitian only had experints in her heart, a true experint fanatic. Perhaps only Qin Nanyu could provide her with a haven, allowing her to pursue her experintal ideas single-mindedly without having to choose between ideals and reality.
