"We’re done talking," answered Qin Nanyu.
Ji Weitian couldn’t figure out what he ant, but Qin Nanyu spoke again, "We’ll leave once you’ve finished eating."
Ji Weitian sneaked a glance at Leng Jian, who rely gave a faint smile and made no comnt on Qin Nanyu’s statent.
With both of them watching her, she struggled to finish a piece of cake, and Qin Nanyu even made her drink the mixed fruit juice, saying her stamina was too poor.
Instinctively wanting to protest, she feared Qin Nanyu would shalessly bring up last night’s incident. Gritting her teeth, she closed her eyes and drank all the juice in one go.
She secretly vowed in her mind that if she ever let Qin Nanyu lay a finger on her again, she would be a pig!
After she was full and pulled up from her seat by Qin Nanyu, Leng Jian, who hadn’t reacted much, finally spoke, "I need to take back the cooperation agreent Zhang Lingying signed with you."
"Alright," Qin Nanyu agreed without hesitation, as if Leng Jian’s response was exactly what he expected. Turning around, he grabbed the eager-to-ask-sothing Ji Weitian and strode out of the café.
Stuffed into the car and about to lose her temper, Qin Nanyu spoke first, "Go ahead and ask if you have any questions."
Ji Weitian: "..."
With his attitude being so nice, she found it hard to get angry.
"You want to know why I t with Leng Jian suddenly, and what we talked about, right?" Qin Nanyu reached out to fasten her seatbelt, gently pinching her chin and eting her gaze.
Ji Weitian nodded obediently.
She was indeed worried about Qin Nanyu and Leng Jian; there was no reason to hide it.
They had just discussed this concern yesterday. Qin Nanyu clearly stated he was open to working with Leng Jian, but she didn’t expect him to be so eager as to contact him the next day.

"Leng Jian ca to ," Qin Nanyu’s words dispelled Ji Weitian’s doubts.
"You’re right, he approached to discuss collaboration. He straightforwardly told he could only speak for himself, not on behalf of CC Doctor, and he didn’t really want to help . He was just willing to facilitate a short-term collaboration with Qin Technology Group for your sake, until we successfully complete this project."

This was just the kind of thing Leng Jian would do.
After their conversation yesterday, when Leng Jian took her ho, his final question had already given away his decision to Ji Weitian.
Ji Weitian felt a warmth in her eyes and a mix of emotions in her heart.
No matter what happened or when, Leng Jian always stood behind her like a sturdy pillar, supporting her choices.
More like a friend, even like family.
"What did he an by that last sentence?" Ji Weitian ca back to her senses and asked.
Qin Nanyu released her, sowhat smugly leaning back in his seat, and replied casually, "I agreed to let him join the lab because I value talent, not because I absolutely needed him. Since it’s a collaboration, it shouldn’t be without compensation."
Ji Weitian: "You let him set his own terms?"
"Yes," Qin Nanyu nodded.
Upon hearing this, Ji Weitian was slightly stunned, recalling Leng Jian’s final terms.
He wanted to reclaim the cooperation agreent Zhang Lingying had signed with Qin Technology Group.
It was essentially a one-for-one exchange.
Plus, considering what he said earlier about helping Zhang Lingying pick out a school for further studies... so, is he planning to groom Zhang Lingying in a nurturing relationship?
