Ji Weitian couldn’t help but grumble in her heart.
At least Lu Jing knew to use Leng Jian to set a trap for her, tricking her into helping design a series of small programs.
She had faced off with Qin Nanyu so many tis, yet Qin Nanyu hadn’t gained any advantage from her.
Now, as she stood right in front of him, all he thought about was supervising her howork...
The more Ji Weitian thought about it, the more suffocated she felt.
She picked up the water cup beside her and took a sip, hoping to suppress her anger, only to realize after drinking that the cup in her hand wasn’t hers, it was Qin Nanyu’s.
She didn’t care, since he was now legitimately her boyfriend, what’s wrong with sharing a cup?
If possible, she even wanted to share a brain with him, to make him open his eyes wide and see that the person he was looking for was standing right in front of him!
But the mont she rembered that she had only discovered today that Qin Nanyu was Y, Ji Weitian suddenly felt, she might not be in a position to mock him.
"Qin Nanyu, have you ever wondered why Dr. CC never shows his face in public?"
"..." Qin Nanyu’s dark eyes flickered, not answering imdiately, as if he were seriously pondering the question.
Then he slightly parted his lips.
"Have you heard of soone nad Leng?"
Ji Weitian: "..."
Ji Weitian didn’t expect him to suddenly ntion Leng Jian, and before she could collect her thoughts, Qin Nanyu continued.
"Leng is the most important person next to Dr. CC. Anyone wanting to contact Dr. CC must go through him. You told last ti that the patent authorization from Dr. CC was obtained through a friend’s help. That friend, is it Leng?"

Ji Weitian hesitated to respond, sensing that if she answered, his next question would be whether Leng was Leng Jian.
At the ti, she had been desperate to help Qin Technology Group through a crisis, not minding the details.
She then thought that ordinary people didn’t understand Dr. CC that well and concocted a reason off the top of her head, which should have sufficed since she had helped the lab and no one would likely fuss over the backstory.
She had never anticipated that Qin Nanyu would suddenly bring up old matters.
If he really was Y, he must have been investigating Dr. CC for more than a day or two, knowing quite a bit about Dr. CC, and the excuses that worked on others likely wouldn’t work on him.
Ji Weitian impulsively blurted out.
"I’m talking to you about Dr. CC, why bring up soone else? What does it matter if it’s cold or not, you might as well just ask directly if I know Dr. CC."
"You know him?" Qin Nanyu raised an eyebrow, his tone playful as he followed her words.
Ji Weitian didn’t hold back, directly responding, "Yes, I know him, not just know him, but also quite well."
She and Dr. CC could be one and the sa; how could she not be familiar?
Ji Weitian originally thought that after her statent, Qin Nanyu would ask her to connect him with Dr. CC, but instead, he just stared at her.
His gaze was calm and deep, and upon closer inspection, there seed to be a trace of anger, faint yet discernible...
Before she could figure out what was going on, he had already reached over, grabbed the armrest of her chair, leaned over, and stared at her intently, articulating each word.
"Are you spouting nonsense in front of just to protect Leng Jian?"
"..."
"If I told you that I already know Leng Jian is Leng, what else would you plan on telling ?"
