The key issue was, he had no idea where she lived!

Leng Jian had to be patient and ask again, "I know you don’t live in T city. Where are you staying now? If you don’t tell , I’ll have to leave you on the side of the road."

"Why would you leave on the side of the road?" Upon hearing that she might be left behind, Zhang Lingying’s alertness kicked in as she lifted her head and gave Leng Jian a few wary glances, seemingly unsure if he was joking. Tilting her head in thought, she mumbled a reply.

"I can’t rember where I live, but I can go ho with you and stay at your place. After all, my dad has passed away, and I’d be alone at ho anyway."

Leng Jian: "..."

When he heard the first half of the sentence, he was about to lecture her for her lack of safety awareness as a young girl. But after hearing the second half, a faint ache touched his heart, and he found himself unable to utter the words of caution.

Forget it, he should be grateful that it was him who found her drunk.

He was living alone now, with a guest room at his place, so taking her back with him shouldn’t be a big issue.

Seeing her this drunk, he didn’t feel comfortable leaving her by herself.

After settling the bill, Leng Jian picked up the person on the sofa and was just about to remind her to stand properly and walk carefully when Zhang Lingying hooked an arm around his shoulder, leaning against him entirely.

eting his astonished gaze, she first let out a burp from the alcohol then began to speak slowly, "Friends walk the journey of life together, my head’s a bit dizzy, give a hand."

Leng Jian: "..."

She really wasn’t afraid of death, not realizing she was playing with fire.

Leng Jian’s expression darkened slightly, and without letting her continue her antics, he grabbed her by the arm and marched out of the restaurant.

As they reached the parking lot, the first thing he did was to open the car door, trying to shove the drunk Zhang Lingying inside when a shadowy figure suddenly blocked their way.

"What did you do to her?"

Lu Jing glanced at the dazed Zhang Lingying, and his dark brown pupils narrowed sharply, his gaze, icy like frost, swept towards Leng Jian.

Before Leng Jian could open his mouth to explain, Lu Jing had already reached out to grab Zhang Lingying’s arm, pulling her from Leng Jian’s side to rest against his own chest.

Slling the alcohol on her, his brow furrowed.

"Did you get her drunk?"

Faced with two consecutive questions, Leng Jian didn’t rush to refute, rely watching Zhang Lingying who had been pulled into Lu Jing’s arms.

With her face flushed red, she curiously examined Lu Jing, who had just appeared, squinting her eyes before suddenly poking his grim face and asking, "Hey handso, what’s your na? Do you have a girlfriend?"

"..." No one had ever dared to touch Lu Jing in such a manner, and this being the first ti he was flirted with, he was stunned for a long while.

Zhang Lingying withdrew her hand, clicking her tongue, "What a pity, so handso, yet mute."

Lu Jing: "..."

She should be grateful that she’s drunk now, otherwise, he might have already twisted her head off!

"Get in the car, I’ll take you ho," Leng Jian said, ignoring Lu Jing and looking straight at Zhang Lingying.

At these words, Zhang Lingying imdiately curled up a little more in Lu Jing’s embrace, her speech starting to slur, "No, not going ho, I don’t want to be alone at ho."

After that, she raised her head to ask Lu Jing, "Handso, are you going to take ho too? I can tell you where I live, but only if you let kiss... kiss you!"

"Kiss where?" Lu Jing raised an eyebrow and asked.

Zhang Lingying pointed at his chin, her face looking mischievous.

Unexpectedly, she had t a real rogue. The next second, Lu Jing turned the tables and lowered his head to land a kiss.
