Ji Weitian wished she could glare at him hard enough to bore two bloody holes in his body!

Reluctantly refusing to concede defeat, she took her clothes and entered the bathroom in front of him.

To prove that his presence had no effect on her at all!

Qin Nanyu leaned back against the headboard, a faint smile on his lips as he watched her disappear by the door.

There was a deepening glint in his eyes, as if he were plotting sothing, and finally, he reached out and opened a closet not far from him...

Ji Weitian said she was fine, but the thought of Qin Nanyu being in her room, separated only by a single door, made her feel very uncomfortable.

She showered as quickly as possible, then went out.

Ignoring Qin Nanyu, she walked straight to the headboard to grab the hairdryer.

But as soon as she opened the closet, she found that the hairdryer that should have been inside was gone.

Glancing up, the object was in Qin Nanyu’s hand.

"I’m not used to owing others. You fed soup earlier, so I can dry your hair for you," Qin Nanyu replied to her puzzled look, his thin lips parting slightly.

Him taking the initiative to mark boundaries was precisely what Ji Weitian wanted.

Without much thought, she sat down next to him.

But as soon as they drew close, she began to regret it.

Qin Nanyu had a significant effect on her, so much so that it wasn’t what he did, but rather, even when he did nothing, it made her unconsciously tense, fearing he might secretly cause trouble behind her back.

Moreover, no matter how you looked at it, Qin Nanyu did not seem like soone who would attend to others.

Ji Weitian braced herself for the imminent disaster that was sure to befall her hair.

But the outco was completely unexpected.

Qin Nanyu’s movents were gentle, his long fingers twining her strands of hair as if handling a precious object.

It must have been his first ti drying soone else’s hair, as his expression was very focused.

The whirring of the hairdryer subdued all other sounds around them.

Accompanied by Qin Nanyu’s tender motions, Ji Weitian felt herself growing drowsy.

But rembering the person sitting behind her was Qin Nanyu, she forced herself to stay extra alert.

Then, suddenly, the sound of the hairdryer ca to a halt.

Ji Weitian froze for a mont, instinctively turning back to look at Qin Nanyu, and as she turned, her gaze t his.

In his deep, dark eyes, there was a tenderness she couldn’t understand, as though he was looking at his treasure.

Wrapped around his slender finger was a small tuft of her hair.

Following the motion of turning off the hairdryer, he gently let go.

And her hair slid through his fingers...

Her heart suddenly skipped half a beat.

Clearly, from her angle, Qin Nanyu’s face, marred by a wound, could hardly be considered handso, but his eyes slightly squinted and the corners of his lips curled with a doting arc... inexplicably alluring.

One smile would fall a city, another a kingdom.

That phrase suddenly popped into Ji Weitian’s head.

"Okay, is it done? I’m a bit sleepy. I’m going to bed first," Ji Weitian, realizing she was actually indulging in his beauty, hurriedly stood up and, without a second word, walked out.

She moved quickly, afraid Qin Nanyu would play the rogue like before, finding excuses to have her stay and look after him.

Yet, as she reached the door, she found to her surprise that the person behind her hadn’t moved at all.

Was Qin Nanyu planning to be decent today?

Muttering to herself, Ji Weitian reached out for the doorknob.

The next second, she found that the door was locked tight and couldn’t be opened!

"While you were in the shower, Yaoyao ca in and took the keys from your bag."

Qin Nanyu’s pleasant voice slowly rose, "Oh, and when she left, she asked to say goodnight to you."
