"Unless what?" Ji Weitian didn’t notice the changed expression in his eyes and asked subconsciously.
"Unless we tell the TV show team that I’m living at your place because we are dating with the intention of getting married," Qin Nanyu said, his dark pupils staring deeply at Ji Weitian.
It seed as though he had been waiting a very long ti to say these words.
As he finished speaking, Ji Weitian noticeably shrank back, as if she had been frightened.
He reached out and grabbed her shoulders, not giving her a chance to escape, and pulled her in front of him.
He lowered his gaze to look at her.
Ji Weitian shifted uncomfortably, licking her lips, and said with a tense voice, "It’s not right to lie, and if your grandfather finds out, he might get even angrier..."
"He won’t!" Qin Nanyu held her hand, tightening his grip silently, his words coming out hurriedly.

He hated that he had once hurt her, and even more so that he had blocked his own way back with his words.
A montary slip of the tongue feels good, but chasing one’s wife is a funeral pyre.

"And, who says being together ans forcibly creating a family? Ji Weitian, I don’t feel it’s forced, I am happy," he expressed.

The aning behind his words was just like what she had overheard that night: "Ji Weitian, I like you."
Her heartbeat accelerated slightly.
The morning sun was brilliant, shining through the glass window, casting light on Qin Nanyu’s chiseled profile.
Ji Weitian looked at him against the light, unable to see the glow in the depths of his eyes, feeling as though her breath was being strangled by his words.
For a long while, she didn’t know what to say.
It wasn’t until Qin Nanyu led her away from Qin Technology Group that she snapped back to reality.
She vaguely rembered that Assistant Song had especially escorted them downstairs when they were leaving.
This was her first ti at Qin Technology Group. When she ca, it was night and there weren’t many people around.
But when they left, it was during work hours.
As Qin Nanyu led her out by the hand, Ji Weitian was still sowhat dazed.
Not until she saw the shocked stares surrounding them did she realize what was happening and tried to pull away. But Qin Nanyu purposely intertwined his fingers with hers, declaratively saying,
"This place is huge, it’s your first ti here, you could get lost if you don’t follow ."

She wasn’t a three-year-old child who needed an adult to hold her hand as she walked.
Seeing the obviously misinterpreting onlookers, Ji Weitian gave up struggling and let him lead her away.
With her mind on the lab work, Ji Weitian headed back to Jiangcheng University as soon as they left Qin Technology.
When they parted ways, she specifically asked if he had brought the house keys. Hearing that he didn’t, she imdiately handed him the keys from her bag, cutting off any excuse Qin Nanyu might have had to follow her to the laboratory building.
