She trembled as she opened the album before her.

The little guy had been stolen at birth and had never seen his mother.

Ji Weitian didn’t know how he had drawn his mother, what she would look like, and whether she resembled her.

Too many heartaches and questions echoed in her chest, until she saw the first painting in the album—

Unlike a four-year-old child’s naive scribbles,

Ruirui had a talent for drawing; the figure sketched with pencil was recognizably a female character.

From the limbs to the clothing, even if it was just a simple outline, it was evident that he had painted with great care.

The most peculiar aspect of this painting was the absence of facial features.

What he had drawn was a faceless mother.

As Ji Weitian flipped further, the little guy’s subsequent paintings got better and more detailed, with so being more than just sketches - they were also colored with crayons.

However, all these paintings had one thing in common: they were faceless.

He could imagine his mother’s figure, but he couldn’t imagine her face because he had never seen his own mother...

He had drawn a mother he had never t, yet he had always loved.

Ji Weitian’s tears rolled from her eyes, falling on the album.

When she ca back to her senses, she hurriedly reached out to wipe the album, afraid of soiling her little one’s most cherished possession.

Finally, she held the album tightly in her arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Ruirui won’t bla you," Qin Nanyu hadn’t expected her to cry like this, his heart unexpectedly tightened, and he reached out to wipe away her tears, only to find they multiplied the more he wiped, so he simply embraced her.

Lifting his hand stiffly, he gently patted her back.

Comforting her like coaxing a baby.

Although he probably had never comforted his own son before.

Qin Nanyu had been unable to sleep all night, ever since he unexpectedly saw the keepsake album Ji Weitian had carefully stored in a box the previous evening.

His mind kept pondering what ntos he had saved for his son over the years.

Eventually, he realized he hadn’t kept anything.

The fact that he hadn’t thrown this pesky kid who always fought him into the trash was already the greatest act of rcy in his life.

Loving each other? Non-existent.

Fortunately, his grandfather doted on his great-grandson, and since the little guy was sent to the Qin Family Villa and picked up a small life, he had always cherished him like the apple of his eye.

Qin Nanyu surmised the old man must have quite a few photos of the little one, and he had his assistant search for them overnight, but even he didn’t expect that the old man had not only saved photos but also a bunch of videos, which really played into his hands...

Seeing how moved Ji Weitian was now, that she wasn’t angry while he embraced her, but rather leaned into his chest... Qin Nanyu felt he was only one step away from success!

"There’s more about Ruirui in the USB drive, it’s just a part; many others are still in the Qin Family Villa. If you’d like, I can take you there to look through them slowly," Qin Nanyu, sensing her emotions had settled a bit, murmured softly.

Pulling out a handkerchief, he tenderly wiped away her tears.

Clenching the USB drive and the album in her hands, Ji Weitian, reminded by his ntion of returning to the Qin Family Villa, reflexively stepped back, distancing herself from him, and asked warily,

"Weren’t you kicked out by your grandfather? Can you even go back there?"

Qin Nanyu’s extended handkerchief paused mid-air.

Before he could answer her question, Ji Weitian continued to press, "If you can go back, why don’t you move back in today?"
