Ji Weitian had just woken up, still a bit disoriented.

She heard Song Shu say Qin Nanyu was going for a checkup, sowhat astonished.

"The doctor said he just needed rest. Why the sudden checkup? Is there sothing wrong?"

"Miss Ji, please rest assured, the boss is fine. He just wants to be discharged early and needs the doctor’s consent. So he went for an extra checkup. As long as the results are fine, he can go back to the villa to recuperate."

Noticing her complexion didn’t look too good, Song Shu patiently explained.

After finishing, sothing seed to occur to him, and he added another sentence.

"The little master and the little miss were worried about the boss. They made a fuss and didn’t go to kindergarten today. They ca to the hospital with . The butler is looking after them, staying by the boss’s side. Miss Ji, if you are concerned, you can go and see them."

"Ruirui and Yaoyao are here too?" Ji Weitian suddenly tensed.

They had just visited Qin Nanyu at the hospital yesterday, and everything seed fine. Why were the two little ones suddenly worried again?

Yaoyao aside, for her to believe that Ruirui was worried about Qin Nanyu and refused to go to kindergarten, she would rather think he was concerned for Yaoyao and followed along to take care of his little sister.

"Where are they? I’ll go have a look." Ji Weitian wasn’t worried about Qin Nanyu, but she was concerned about her own son and daughter.

After all, this was a hospital. It wasn’t a suitable place for such small children to run around carelessly.

Before the assistant could tell her Qin Nanyu’s location, she saw his figure in the corridor.

Had he finished his checkup?

Ji Weitian stood still, squinting her eyes as she watched the person approaching her from a distance.

Qin Nanyu seed to have really improved a lot, able to carry Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling with easy strides.

Poor Ruirui, unable to keep up with his pace, could only run behind him with his short legs, trying hard, and had broken out into a sweat on his forehead.

Upon seeing Ji Weitian, he imdiately rushed over to her, "Mommy!"

"Why are you sweating so much?"

Ji Weitian hugged the little guy, tenderly wiping his face.

The little fellow didn’t speak, but he pitifully snuggled into her arms and glanced at Qin Nanyu, his eyes silently laying bla.

"I told him to stay in the room with you. He wouldn’t listen and insisted on following along. You can’t bla for this," Qin Nanyu imdiately disclaid any responsibility when he saw the little guy trying to pass the buck to him.

Carrying his daughter into the ward.

He even picked up the oranges that Ji Weitian had bought yesterday and peeled one for her.

Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling was now clamoring about how much she loved daddy.

And then there was the neglected son at the side, looking like he was an orphan Qin Nanyu had picked up...

Ji Weitian couldn’t help but speak up, "Qin Nanyu, aren’t you being a bit too biased?"

"Do you think so?" Qin Nanyu looked innocent and, to prove he really wasn’t biased, he picked up an orange and handed it to his son.

As if he wasn’t the one who had made his son desperately follow him just monts ago.

Ji Weitian was at a loss for words.

She could only comfort her son herself.

Fortunately, the little guy cared about his mommy and wasn’t bothered by Qin Nanyu’s attitude.

"By the way, Assistant Song ntioned you went for a checkup. How did it go? Did the doctor say you could be discharged?" Ji Weitian asked.

Qin Nanyu paused while feeding his daughter an orange, just for a second, then resud as usual, his lips parting lightly, "It’s nothing. The butler has already gone to handle the discharge procedures. We can leave soon."

He turned around and handed Ji Weitian a slice of orange, "Try it, it’s sweet."
