After hanging up with Leng Jian, Ji Weitian left the residential area alone.
She didn’t return to the Nanpo Apartnt, nor did she go to the Qin Family Villa, but instead took a taxi to the kindergarten where the little one attended.
She arrived a bit early, before the school day had ended.
When the taxi stopped at the entrance of the kindergarten, the driver curiously looked back and asked, "Miss, have you got the ti wrong? It’s not ti to pick up the children yet. Would you like to find a nearby café where you can rest for a while?"
"No need. I’ll get off here," Ji Weitian politely thanked the cab driver, paid the fare, and headed straight for the entrance of the kindergarten.
The taxi driver was right, it wasn’t ti to pick up the children yet.
But Ji Weitian didn’t want to wait even a minute.
Leng Jian had already sent the DNA test report to her phone. The mont she saw the report, only one thought remained in her mind.
She wanted to see her son...
She wanted to kiss him, to hold him, to tell him in person that she was his biological mother.
She hadn’t abandoned him; she was just too foolish and was deceived, which is why she had lost him. Could he forgive his mother...
"Miss Ji, are you here to pick up Ruirui?" The teacher on duty at the kindergarten recognized Ji Weitian and greeted her politely.
The little guy was an heir of the Qin Family and had a cute, handso little face, as well as being a little genius.
Even without the title of Qin Nanyu’s son, he was loved by everyone in the kindergarten.
So, even teachers who didn’t teach him generally recognized him.
Ji Weitian had accompanied Qin Nanyu to pick up and drop off the little one a few tis, and the little one always ignored his dad, hugging her neck and calling her "mommy" incessantly. Over ti, the teachers at the kindergarten assud she was the little guy’s biological mother.
Ji Weitian had tried to explain before, but Qin Nanyu didn’t cooperate.
Furthermore, during the filming of the show, Ruirui would also call her "mommy", and as ti passed, she grew accustod to it and didn’t bother to correct it anymore.
Now that she knew Ruirui was her son, Ji Weitian’s only relief was that she never cruelly pushed him away when he approached her.
"Ruirui is still in class. Why don’t you sit in the rest room next door for a while?" The teacher glanced at the ti and stepped forward to suggest to Ji Weitian.
Ji Weitian shook her head, declining the kind offer from the teacher.
She couldn’t sit still now.
"Can I peek at Ruirui’s class? I promise I won’t disturb anyone. I’ll just quietly take a look from outside."
Sothing crossed Ji Weitian’s mind, and the tip of her nose beca slightly sour.
She still rembered the little one snuggling into her arms coquettishly, puffing up his cute little face, and asking her if she could drop him off at school, pick him up after school, or accompany him to a parent-observed class...
At that ti, she hadn’t co to terms with the situation and had asked him in puzzlent why.
The little guy’s head drooped imdiately, his lips pursed, his little hand consistently tapping his palm, and after a while, he muttered a sentence.
"All the other kids’ moms at kindergarten care about them like that, only I don’t have..."
Now recalling this sentence and the little guy’s vulnerable appearance at the ti, Ji Weitian felt as if her heart was being sliced by a knife.
"Miss Ji, you worry too much. Our kindergarten has special observation classes open to parents, and so parents who are worried about their children also co to check on them. As long as we keep our movents light and try not to disrupt the teaching order, it’s completely fine for you to want to see how the child is doing."
